    Platypus Punch

Nothing better than a refreshing platypus punch after a long day of work! Outback always has the coolest drinks. The Platypus Punch is made with Deep Eddy grapefruit, mango and lemonade. Then you pour the butterfly pea tea from the egg into the drink to give it this stunning purple color (yes, you do get to keep the egg and platypus) For my meal, I ordered the filet mignon with loaded mashed potatoes and some Mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned very well, and the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare! The bartender did an amazing job of waiting on everyone at the bar in addition to all of the other tables in the restaurant.

For a Friday night they were very fast with the service! Our waiter was awesome and the food hit the spot. The restaurant is not too loud so you can hear conversations at your table very well !.

I ordered the steak with cheese fries and a house salad. The steak was a little bit overcooked but overall, the service and food is pretty consistent at this location. Also, I've noticed that this location doesn't get too too busy, even during busier dinner times, which is a plus. Will continue to go back again!

Our server Dominque was fantastic! We stopped in to try out the koala holiday drinks - the mocktail is great, the martini is a nice dessert drink. Obviously had to get a blooming onion First time trying the prime rib and it was absolutely fantastic!

I came in about 1pm maybe? There was a 20 min wait to sit down but it's just me so hey, I'll go to the EMPTY BAR. The bartender was overwhelmed ok. I was alone for all of like 20 min cause clearly once ppl seen me sitting at the bar that's the option they chose (no one got alcohol they just didn't want to wait to sit and eat). Though he was overwhelmed he handled it GREAT. I personally had no drop in service, he didn't forget about me and my food was great. We all know outback is the bottom of the barrel steak (though I wanted to try to new porterhouse) I got the Cobb salad. Now beware the salad only comes with like 2 pieces of chicken so I had to order a side piece additional to have decent amount of chicken for this big ass salad. It tasted great! Chicken was chargrilled perfectly, the salad was huge with great flavor! They just need to give more dressing! Those little cups aren't enough for the size you're given! My drink was tasty as well and I ordered a sprite! Outback sprite is like McDonald's level a GREAT 2nd for a sprite lover!

Can't remember the last time Ive been to outback but I Went to try the holiday drinks and I had a gift card. I ordered the sirloin and blooming chicken meal. Everything was delicious, the chicken was probably the juiciest I've ever had at a restaurant. The steak and broccoli was cooked perfectly and the service was fairly quick. I was also surprised at how reasonable the prices were regardless of my gift card.

Delicious, tender filet mignon and my mother really enjoyed her ribs. Plenty of meat on the bones.

Since this was our first visit we didn't know what to expect but the reviews looked good. We arrived to a packed house and I was surprised how small and crammed it was inside. Dumpy is tree he word is use to describe the inside. Peeling paint and stained ceilings. Ventilation system look like it was straight out of the 70s and never maintained since then. I never thought I'd have to worry about Legionnaires disease but this is the place that stuff like that starts in. Tired, old and dingy inside. I'm not opposed to dive bars and restaurants, in fact I love them but Boodles paints themselves as upscale dining with prices to support that. It's anything but. The tables are crammed very close together and you can't help but bump into the people dining next to you to get to your table. I've been in small, intimate restaurants before with the same type of tight configurations but this was almost ridiculous. We ordered a round of drinks. A Cosmopolitan for me and an Old Fashioned for the boyfriend. The people next to us had a group of 6 and they mentioned they have been waiting for almost 2 1/2 hours for their main course. That was another bad sign. Our drinks arrived and were very lackluster. All you could taste was booze which isn't a bad thing if you were ordering it straight or just on the rocks but a steakhouse like Boodles should know how to make a quality Cosmo and Old Fashioned. We ordered the bread service which doesn't come with dinner and was an additional $6. Nothing to write home about even though they claim it's their homemade sourdough. Personally I didn't feel it was worth six dollars. We each got a Caesar salad and while the salad was a nice portion it was lacking in flavor and very little dressing. We waited for our waitress to come and check on us to ask for a side of additional dressing but she never came around. We ate the salad and finished our round of drinks. I was already skeptical on ordering a main course because everything up until this point had been a miss. Against my better judgment I ordered their signature item: Steak Diane prepared table side. My boyfriend ordered the 16 ounce ribeye. Both entrées come with a side of their lyonnaise potatoes. While we waited for our entrées we each ordered a glass of the house Cabernet. They do give a generous pour so that was a plus. After waiting almost an hour they started to prepare the Steak Diane. It was cool to watch them prepare it table side and after waiting almost an hour I was happily hungry with anticipation. I wish I could say it was halfway decent but it was overcooked. I ordered my steak medium rare in hopes that if it does come out a little more than medium rare it's still pink and flavorful. It was grey inside with no pink at all. Even the sauce it was cooked and was devoid of flavor. How is it possible with all the butter and the garlic they were using it was still lackluster? My boyfriend did say his steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was excellent. The lyonnaise potatoes were also tasty. This was the best part of the entire dining experience other than leaving. After our waitress came back to check on us I told her I was not happy with my main course and that I would like to send it back. She asked if I wanted something else and I said no thank you I'll just take the check. They did take my steak off the bill since I had only tried one bite. My boyfriend had his steak packaged up to go. We just wanted to get out of there at that point. What was surprising is nobody seemed to care or even inquire what they could do better to improve the situation. Every staff member we encountered was very nonplus which makes me think this is not an isolated incident. After paying our bill we walked by a group of people coming in for dinner. They asked us how everything was and I said well we are leaving and if you leave now you can save yourself three hours of your time only to be disappointed.

Hostess was very attentive and she seated us promptly as we arrived for our reservation. She was hustling all night. Interior was nice and clean, the chairs were extremely comfortable. I was a little sticker shocked at the prices, but I was not aware that each entree is served with soup, salad, and a side. Given that the prices were more acceptable for a steak house type atmosphere. They have a bar for cocktails but no beer on draft, I thought that was a little odd. Bread basket was very good. Warm and fresh bread with some rub of the milk bread sticks and crackers. French onion soup was very good. Although might have been a little over reduced. I would prefer that over a watery alternative. Salad was just a plate of lettuce, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes, with dressing. Nothing special. No cheese or croutons. Steak and potato - first off if multiple people order the same steak at the table they should all be about the same size. That was not the case. The person we were there celebrating had a wonderfully cut and cooked steak. Was about twice the size of mine and a very nice cut. Mine was significantly smaller and a good 1/4 of it was a fat hunk that my dogs got to enjoy. Also the cooks were not as expected. Mine was to be medium rare and the others medium. Mine was medium to medium well. The potato was odd, I've never seen a potato served unopened and dry - no butter. Only a small dollop of sour cream in the side. I asked for baked potato with butter - I'm glad we still had some left over from the bread basket. Finally we were there for the start of the live music. Not sure they have to sing happy birthday for each individual person. We got it five times and then once more with a late arrival. The music was loud and took away from the setting. Finally a big pet peeve is not bringing the check and then taking forever to cash us out. Table is cleared left overs boxed up let us leave! Would I go back maybe. If I had a choice between Texas Roadhouse steak or a Clawson Steakhouse steak I'm choosing Roadhouse.

My wife ordered the Beet & Salmon Salad, while I chose the Crispy Chicken Club with white cheddar and house-smoked bacon. The sandwich was absolutely incredible--hands down the best crispy chicken club I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the combination of flavors was outstanding. I also stole a few bites of my wife's salad and was pleasantly surprised by the yellow beets. I'd only ever had red beets before, and both varieties were prepared beautifully. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the fresh ingredients. Between the excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service, this turned out to be one of the best impromptu dinner dates we've had in quite some time. I'm here for a special event. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its high reviews…read more Its menu was simple and consisted of only one page of food items. It is definitely a 3 $$$ price point. We got the paccheri, crudo, chicken Milanese, Michigan greens. The crudo was probably the best dish, as it contained sushi-grade fish and shellfish delicately plated in a light and green sauce. It came with a cornbread, which paired well with the raw seafood dish. The rest of the items we got were just sub-par or par. The Michigan greens unfortunately just taste like an ordinary salad, with the exception of fennel. The ravioli was average, although they prided themselves that it was homemade pasta. The short rib ragu was unfortunately too salty, not because of the pasta but because of the slow-cooked beef. We even asked them to remake it, and it came out just as salty, meaning it was for sure the beef ragu that was the culprit. The chicken was ok, but it was just a piece of fried chicken breast. The greens underneath it were interesting, but they do not justify the price point or the originality of the dish. The service was good, and they did make every effort to satisfy whatever needs we had. It was pretty packed and it definitely had an upscale feel, but unfortunately did not live up to its hype.

They had several spritz cocktails available, and they are so good & refreshing in hot weather! Mine was great. We shared the arancini, which was quite large & very good--the red sauce it was on was a little spicy & really suited the arancini. Loved it! I had Ravioli stuffed with shrimp & scallop with clam & white wine sauce , which I'd had several weeks prior, & really hoped was still on the menu, as they do seasonally change it up. It was so delicious! I ate & savored EVERY bite. My husband had the short rib ragu, Paccheri, they generally have some variation on this dish & he just loves it. The meat was fall apart tender & the sauce was a little spicier than it is sometimes, but he loves it that way. We also shared a desert that was wonderful--cream puff type pastry (choux) strawberries & cream. Beppe is a local favorite for us--always a stand out great meal & great service!
