PROS: - Located right in the middle of downtown. - Our server was very friendly and cordial. - The ribeye I ordered was pretty good and cooked perfectly medium rare. - The sides were delicious. - The salad bar is a great addition to your meal. - The interior is fun because it really makes you feel like you're in a small western town. - The prices were decent. - Lots of other restaurants and small stores around the area. CONS: -None really.

We decided on eating dinner a little earlier than normal so stopped in here. Restaurant was very clean and walls covered in fishing and country Knick knacks. We were seated straight away. The waiter came quickly and delivered our drinks and took our order. Food came out in the normal amount of time. I had the patty melt and wife had French dip. Both were pretty good. Not over the top but decent. Shoestring French fries with was different. Our waiter Gosue I think is how he said it was spelled, was hot friendly and efficient. Would we go back? Maybe so.

We park near by and came for lunch. There was a girl who helped us she had great customer service. She was very attractive and nice. I ordered a bison burger and my husband ordered a regular beef but. We got plenty of water and our food came fast. The order was right. I ordered hot sauce I got chalula. It tasted spicier then normal but it was way better. I'm not sure if this was their own hot sauce but it was really good. My bison burger was good I would actually recommend getting it. The price was reasonable. We actually had a great experience. The town is small and for what they have this is a great choice.

This is a cool find! It's fun to look at the memorability on the walls. Mineli was our server and she was friendly and checked on us several times. The prices were reasonable and they had a nice variety. I had the chicken salad. I was surprised how big it was. The chicken salad was perfect! It came with melon and was like a dessert for me! My husband had the beef stew. He loved it! Overall it was relaxing and we felt we could just sit and enjoy our time. Thanks Mineli for a wonderful experience!

The menu doesn't include over half of the items listed online...so we left without eating.

Meat tough as shoeleather, as jus flavorless and fries over cooked and cold. Burger well charred on the outside was barely passable.

We felt welcome and well-treated. The menu had some very nice offerings. From their cocktails, we enjoyed a couple of Montana Bucks, a bright sort-of-mule recipe made with smooth Sudden Wisdom Rye, lightly-sweet huckleberry purée, zingy ginger beer, and a dash of tart lime juice. And a huge, double-size Mammoth Manhattan, of nicely-flavored Wyoming Outryder Rye, deep flavors of both sweet & dry vermouth, bitey house-made bitters, and a rich Luxardo cherry. Both were yummy and well-crafted. The best beverage option: A flight of rye whiskies gave us local brands to compare with upscale brands. It was a good range of flavors, and we caught some nice local spirits. One-half ounce each of Michter's Single Barrel, Middle West Dark Pumpernickel, Willett 4 Year, and Wyoming Outryder The winners was Michter's, smooth with intense rye and some fire. Outryder caught our interest more than the other two. This leads us to a "flight" theory: We liked the local spirit that they also use in their craft cocktails! The New Zealand mussels were plump and fresh and well-dressed with grape tomatoes, scallions, wine and lemon. Jerk shrimp had flavorful heat. The Pear & Prosciutto Salad has lovely sweet fruit with thin but bold tender ham. Caesar with added salmon was classic, bright, and fresh. Bison Bourguignon was geneous al-dente pasta with tender sauced meat. The large-grain Cous Cous was rich with sun-dried tomatoes, tangy Kalamata olives, and roasted veggies. The best main dish: The $50 bison ribeye was tender, juicy, and perfectly medium-rare. It was flavorful, with a slightly more caramel note than a beef ribeye. This was one of the two best steaks we had in West Yellowstone. Everything was quite delicious! The restaurant was quiet and pretty.

Pancakes were massive and delicious. Pricing was very reasonable for the portions. My only complaint was that the sourdough that comes as a side is not as good as the yummy sourdough that they use for their sandwiches. I wish both were the rustic sourdough. Other than that, it was clean with a great honey feel and booth seating!

The cinnamon pretzels are the best pretzels we've ever had- wow!! They're soft, coated in cinnamon sugar, and accompanied by the most delectable icing. I'd return just to get these for dessert. The buff bites were also excellent- I got the huckleberry BBQ sauce, it hit the spot, and definitely was enough for a meal. My husband got the country fried buffalo steak with mashed potatoes and also loved it. It's standard bar/grill food, something for everyone, but be sure to get the pretzels!

The burger was GREAT! Beware the roasted jalapeño as it definitely has a good kick, but I took bites of mine along with the burger and it was great. The wife's wings for being naked and not sauced were well seasoned and a good size for the price, recommend a side of fries or SP fries for only $3. Service was quick, we sat in less than 5 minutes with no reservation. Atmosphere was exactly what you would expect for a bar with sports and video poker, overall 8.5/10 after a long day, they need to keep their menus updated when they remove seasonal beers for a 9/10 or rounded 5 stars.

Old Town Cafe was our pick since it seemed to have a variety of different dishes, including options without meat, and the prices seemed reasonable compared to some nearby competitors. The ambiance is casual with two different dining rooms and a few seats at the bar. We both enjoyed our meals - the trout entree and the chicken bacon pesto sandwich. Nothing fancy but they did the job and had generous portions. The huckleberry lemonade, a local drink, was also a refreshing surprise that wasn't too sweet. I definitely recommend giving this a try if you want to try something unique to the area. I'm all about casual dining, especially after a long day of activities, but will note that the waitress wasn't the friendliest and approached our table and asked how we wanted to pay the bill (one check or split) while I was only half finished with my meal.
