This is serious ball-park food - filling, delicious, hearty and memorable. Large soft bun, slathered with Whiz, heaps of grilled angus beef & onions and topped with either sweet or hot peppers ($11). We also tried the "Loaded Sandwich" which is basically the "Loaded Cheesteak" with an italian sausage added ($12.50). These REQUIRE you get a knife and fork to eat them. This will be quite "memorable" if you try to eat this like a sandwich.

    Yummers!

It's so hard not to indulge at baseball games, even with the steep prices. While walking around, we were mesmerized by the smell of these cheesesteaks. Debated between the clam chowder bowl, but the smell was intoxicating, and we just had to get one. At $9.50-$9.75 a cheesesteak, they're not super cheap, but it's ball park food, what do you expect? It's actually a bit small, but the bread is delicious, and the hot peppers (you can choose sweet peppers too), seasoned beef or chicken, cheez wiz, and onions, yum yum yum! Although it was a bit on the saltier side, it was pretty fantastic. Definitley hit the spot!

Many times I have eaten the Philly Cheese at the Great Steak And Potato at Stonestown... When I went to the SF Giants Game on saturday which was Bruce Bochy's Bobble Head Day... Which was a very good game in which the giants won by beating the San Diego Padres in extra innings by a score of 3 to 2 thanks to Buster Posey and Juan Uribe... And now for my yelp review of the cheesesteak after getting Bruce Bochy's bobble head I have decided in wanting to eat the cheesesteak... I have eaten the Hot Dogs, Polish Kiebasa Sausage Dogs, to many times so it was time for me to eat the cheesesteak and so I did after eating it for the first time at AT&T Park and it tasted so goooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My absolute favorite spot at the Giants game. It's an absolute must! So delish! Wish they opened up a spot outside the ball park. The cheesesteak melts in your mouth.

NorCal Veggiesteaks are yummy and messy, plus made fresh one of the best treats to be found at AT&T park. Be warned it cost 9.50 a pop.

Jamal was the man! Great service And a delicious cheezesteak! We were lucky enough to get the last one!!

Fake cheese and very messy to eat in your seat. Bun is soft a squishy. Yuck! Couldn't finish it. Wast of money.

Ordered and walked out in the span of 10 min. Very italian deli with tiramisus and cannolis. Tons of italian snacks and puff pastries, and a convenient location to pickup anything from beers/wines to premade cannoli shells and gelato. One thing to note is you cannot customize the sandwich, not sure about the pizzas, which smelled delicious. They only make speciality sandwiches on their menu, but surely can't go wrong with any of the choices. They're packed with a sizeable amount of meat as well as greens. The half was enough to fill me up and they were kind enough to wrap them separately.

This is probably the only place where the sandwiches don't taste like the store's essence…read more I mean, don't get me wrong, a store's essence from any given deli/liquor store definitely adds unique character to the sandwich and sometimes I want that in a sandwich. But when you want a sandwich that only tastes like its ingredients, Irving Subs is the spot. Their Dutch crunch is famous for being fresh and actually crunchy. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. You're not getting skimped, but you're also not biting into a mouthful of a packet of deli meat. They definitely know what they are doing. Service is good and ambiance is a small humble shop on the corner of 12th Ave.

Mr.Happy is my favorite thus far. It's packed with fresh ingredients and enough to feed one hungry Mr or Mrs. You'll sure be happy after this meal. What's even better is that they have a dining area next next door. It's clean and filled with games if you just wanna hang out.

The…read moreSandwich Place on Mission street in San Francisco is an early pioneer in bringing the delicious deli sandwiches like their hot pastrami sandwich. There are other very influential sandwiches at different places in San Francisco but there is a place serving sandwiches with a Korean twist. It also is the main inspiration for a sandwich place in Brooklyn, New York called Mission Social sandwiches. It's located in the Mission District on Valencia street and it's called Rhea Deli & Market. On a Summer stroll in my old stomping grounds I landed at Rhea Deli on Valencia street. Inside you will find lots of bottles of alcohol which usually comes in handy as Rhea Market is a pit stop to load up or re-up on adult drinks to take to Dolores Park. This is the place also to get sandwiches and pair with salty chips like some in SF. They have sandwiches named after famous San Francisco Giants players like the Panda and The Freak #55 which has kimchi. I got the Buster Posey #28 and it had delicious pastrami and packed lots of flavors. It was a bit cheesy like some in SF. Don't forget to grab a bottle of your favorite drink and for me it's the Pinot Noir for Don Juan Pinot Noir and head towards Dolores Park. Make sure you" go " and take a Summer Mission "stroll" and try the Church street a name of a veggie chicken sandwich served on an acme organic " roll " and get it popping with a sandwich with jalapeño poppers called the "Marilyn Monroe" Come to Rhea Deli for some food and get some "alcohol"and make it a trip to the Mission during the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Winter, and "Fall"make sure you don't "stall "because they may run out of the sandwich called the "Booty Call "

I ask the guy at the counter and it seems like he just THROWS out a number off the top of his head, depending on how a person looks. SHADY! No matter what the ingredients, he said a medium is $17.39. Which I thought was funny; tri-tip is the same price as bologna??? O...k. #2. What's up with the sizes; small, medium, and large? I haven't been to Roxie's in 15-20 years. They only had one size back then. Yesterday, I got a medium, but the only thing medium was the length of the bread. What was in between the bread(meat, veggies, condiments), could have fit in a small. My sandwich was empty. Lastly #3. Weighing the meat?! WTH! Old Roxie's just made the sandwich. Eyeballed it. I watched the sandwich-makers continuously weighing 2 ounces of meat. That's not much, for $17. This isn't Roxie's. This new owner is living off the old Roxie's reputation. NEVER going back! Not worth the price or wait. And put some numbers up(Prices)!
