Just got in town...wandering around for a lunch spot and saw Columbia House...quickly checked…read more"Yelp" of course...and based on reviews it was a go. Besides almost every table full at 1:15 lunch...including the back room and it is a large restaurant. We were seated without a wait. Took longer to navigate the huge menu. Hubby and I just wanted a light lunch. He ordered the chicken wings and I ordered the "fish" sandwich w/o cheese. Unfortunately, I was served the chicken sandwich not the requested fish sandwich. It still came with avacado, onions, tomato and lettuce. (No cheese as requested). Once I took a bite I realized I had the wrong sandwich. I was disappointed. Waiter apologized and offered to switch it up...I can see he felt bad and we were not quite sure where we both messed up...could have been me? Him? Not a big deal...I just kept it and enjoyed. Chicken was slighty dry (cheese would have fixed the dryness) but seasoned perfectly. It was a large sandwich with two layers of thin grilled chicken. I would split it next time. I like the way it was served...wrapped in a paper. I requested un-seasoned fries and my request was honored. It was all a generous portion. The restaurant is high energy, food around us all looked delicious and fresh, cocktails looked really good...I wanted to taste the cappuccino martini next to us...tempting to order one. Service was timely, friendly and efficient. Noise level a tad high however it was easy enough to carry on a conversation. Overall, I understand the reason this place was so busy...definately a solid fun place...wish it were on my neighborhood as I enjoy exploring different dishes. Thumbs up for sure.

Fun, authentic and mostly delicious Colombian food. Bakery too! :)…read more Very friendly service. Large, very comfortable room. I wish they had fresh juices (not just fake OJ called "fresh") that's the only part that does not feel truly Colombian.

My family and I went to Anasa for a special Celebration Dinner…read more It was wonderful!! Stevia/owner was very attentive and engaging. We split several appetizers and one was better than the other. For dinner, I had the whole fish which was delicious! The others had various specials. The Filet Mignon was beautifully presented and was tender and perfectly cooked as were the Lamb Chops. The Pastitsio and Moussaka were also excellent! We split a few of the different desserts and they were all scrumptious and quite decadent . (Unfortunately, there were no leftovers for doggie bags)! All of the food portions were plentiful and everything was amazing. The food was absolutely superb! Anasa is the perfect choice for a celebration, family get together or even for a quiet romantic dinner. It does not disappoint!!

I ordered lunch from work for the residents on my last day of service. No one could decide what…read morethey wanted so I took one for the team and fought my baseline indecisiveness. I hadn't had mediterranean in a while and I'm not head over heels for the place near me so I wanted to try something new. This place seemed decent enough. I ordered a greek salad and hummus with pita. There were varying gyros, another greek salad with chicken, some platters including the falafel platter that GF orderd. My salad was wonderful. The ingredients were fresh and that dressing was lovely. It was a salad I actually enjoyed instead of regretting the entire time I glared at my coworkers who ordered real shit with envy. The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.

We were greeted right away and we were told to select our table in a back due to the front was kind of packed already. The kitchen is right in the front as well. The back is a bit more spacious. It was very clean and tidy. Our waiter gave us our menu. We decided to go with the the passion fruit pitcher which was worth it. For our main dish, I got the south saltode morascos, which is pasta and mixed seafood. It was huge and very filling. Had to take the leftovers home. My sister got the ceviche which was tilapia I believe, wasn't the best but wasn't terrible either. Overall, was very friendly and attentive, and the place was actually busy when we were there. So they seemed to be a really good spot if you're in the mood for good Peruvian food with huge portions.

Wow. What an amazing gem of a place!!! Eat here!!! lol…read more Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of seating and well lit. Let's go right to the food!!! First and foremost!!! Choros a la Chalaca!!! AMAZING!!!! I mean AMAZING!!! The chicken was good and flavorful and their Tallerines Verde with Bistek was yummy!!! This place was darn good. Only only only frustration was that their wait staff was very understaffed. But all in all I will absolutely dine here again. Two thumbs up here!!!

However, the rest of the broad and deep menu is excellent as well. The rich Sweet Corn Chicken Soup is sweet, thick (but not gummy) and quite tasty. The pan fried dumplings were outstanding. They were perfectly cooked and well stuffed with minced pork and veggies. The Honey Walnut Shrimp were amazing - plump and perfectly dressed. Finally, the Sesame Chicken was amazing. Perfectly cooked but the best thing is that the chicken was moist, rich and flavorful. So, if we're ever back in White Plains, you know where we'll be dining.

The food wasn't bad--it was simply mediocre and underwhelming. The biggest issue was that several dishes were underseasoned and lacked the bold flavors I expect from a good Cantonese restaurant. The Yang Chow fried rice was especially bland and needed more seasoning. The har gow and several of the dim sum items also fell short of expectations. The steamed spare ribs and beef chow fun were okay but nothing memorable. The salt and pepper shrimp was probably the highlight of the meal, but it wasn't unique or better than what I've had at many other Chinese restaurants. Overall, the food was decent, but considering the restaurant's reputation, I expected much more. I don't regret trying it, but I wouldn't make a special trip back.

Yesterday a few of us decided to try this spot for the very first time and it absolutely delivered…read more From the moment we walked in the vibe was modern, warm, and intentionally trendy. The dim lighting set the tone and even the bathroom had a clean, stylish look patterned tile floors a small single sink and everything spotless. Service was good. Our waiter communicated clearly checked in at the right moments and kept everything moving smoothly. The drinks came out quickly and the whole experience felt organized and attentive. When the food arrived it came out hot, timely and beautifully put together. The bowl I ordered wasn't your typical American‑Mexican style it had real depth. The chicken was flavorful, the pico de gallo tasted fresh, and the way everything mixed together created a balanced delicious bite every time. It was one of those dishes where you pause for a second because the flavors hit better than expected. I also had the passion fruit mocktail which was a standout. It had a subtle hint of cinnamon that made the drink feel layered and thoughtfully crafted. Refreshing well balanced and definitely something I'd order again. Overall, this place gave me a great first impression trendy atmosphere, clean space, great service, and food that actually surprises you in the best way. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a spot that feels both stylish and genuine
