After reading the reviews here on Yelp, I can only say one thing, the PC Richard & Son location in Wayne, NJ provided EXCELLENT SERVICE, and BEST PRICE before MEMORIAL DAY! I just had to write this update because of the EXCELLENT handling of my microwave return, the EXCELLENT Customer Care and the BEST PRICES received with additional appliances that I decided to purchase. After my first appliance purchase, I received my microwave in an extremely timely fashion but I just wasn't happy with the microwave and the different colored appliances in my kitchen. I found myself doing some additional appliance (refrigerator, and stove) homework because I really wanted everything to match (brand and color) in my kitchen. I am sure glad that Tom Paone, one of the Wayne store Managers, told me to take more time because I did make a couple more changes including brand and refrigerator style. Tom also made some appliance recommendations such as a slightly larger refrigerator with french doors. Wow, what a difference! (-: I really like the freezer on the bottom and the two door opening on top and I can not forget to mention the EXTRA space! :-). Thank you PC Richards, I am again truly happy with my purchase. I recently purchased a dishwasher from PC Richard in NJ. My husband went to Best Buy, and Sears also to compare. Based on that, we decided to buy from PC Richard. At PC Richard, we dealt with a salesperson named Rafael who was excellent. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and very honest and helpful. My husband met him first a week before and we made sure to ask for him when we came in that day. He really seemed to care about us making the right purchase for what we needed. He really explained all the differences between the dishwashers and had a lot of patience with us. He mad sure we got the best price. He was wonderful to deal with. I received a call. as promised, with the estimated delivery time between 9-11am and the item was delivered on time and the delivery guys were great, very friendly and gave us some tips about the use and care of the dishwasher.. They made sure it was working properly. I then received a call from one of the managers at the store, Anthony, who was checking in to see if it arrived on time, if the delivery guys did a good job, and if we had any questions. He also told us that if we ever had any questions, to please call him. I really appreciated that! We were very pleased with the whole experience and will definitely purchase from them again. We are probably going to need a new washing machine soon and plan to ask for Rafael again! read more

His genuine warm personality, and wealth of knowledge regarding all the high end brands that the store carried, made my decision effortless to make my purchase at that time. I went into P.C. Richard & Son in Wayne to look for my kitchen appliances and was helped by one of your representatives, Moe. He took the time to explain the appliances to me and I felt so comfortable that I purchased 4 appliances for my new kitchen. After 2 weeks I realized that my refrigerator that I purchased would not make it through my doorway into the kitchen. He was in that day and tried to find out if I took the doors off the fridge if it would fit through the doorway but it was not going to make it so he advised me to get the counter size one. He gave me the time to call my contractor and to decide what I wanted. I like the fact that he did not hover over me and gave me my space to decide. I decided to take the counter size refrigerator and also set up my delivery date at the same time. He was very knowledgeable and patient and did not try to talk me into something which is very important to me when shopping. Excellence is what we encountered at PC Richards. My husband & I were shopping for a mattress. We visited several stores in the area but decided to visit PC Richard because of an ad we received from our local paper. The sales person was informative and the sale went smoothly until I visited Costco. At Costco, I saw a similar mattress for less, so I called to cancel my order. Anthony the manager asked for a chance to work with us. After making several phone calls and spending time on the phone with us, he gave us a generous discount and the delivery was exactly what he said it would be. Being owners ourselves, we understand the importance of good customer service. Anthony went out of his way to keep the customer happy. PC Richard has a gem in this manager. We had a great experience working with Moe Murat when we bought our kitchen appliances this year. Moe is a top-notch expert on many brands and when we told him what we wanted, he showed us the best models that met our needs. Moe even made the extra effort to secure a difficult to find appliance that has a very long lead-time due to high demand and low availability. Moe was always available whenever we had a question. Moe also came to our home on the day of delivery and installation to ensure that everything went smoothly. That was a great benefit, because Moe also knows how the appliances should be installed and quickly resolved any unforeseen challenges in the process. The installation team and delivery team did a great job and handled our appliances with care. I purchased a massage chair 15 years ago and it recently broke,I had bought it from P.C. Richards originally and it was one of the greatest things l had ever bought in my life that always helped me with my bad back so you can say l was desperate to get another.So we went to where we bought it originally and we were greeted by a gentlemen named TIPU and he explained to us that he did not have one in stock and he preceded to look on the computer until he found several models that we could choose from.he made this such a pleasant shoping expeirance for us taking his time telling us the diferances in the chairs and costs.When we left I realized the chair was not there for us to buy, TIPU made us feel as if it were there and set everything up for delivery and pick up of our old broken chair for disposal also.I must say a great shopping expierance, THANKYOU again TIPU of rt 46 Wayne. read more

Worked with this company in New York. The most unreliable and rude. Today I am waiting for the FOURTH man to come and fix their botched installation of my refrigerator that I paid for in May. Also took 3 months to deliver a microwave, and don't even bother paying for installation. Their guys essentially unbox and leave the mess for you. Oh and on top of their unprofessionalism, they will blame all their mistakes on you even though you have digital receipts and proof that show otherwise. So when they know that they'll ghost you. Honestly, as a woman each and every time I worked with a male associate he spoke to me in a demeaning way, assumed I know nothing, was disrespectful and then gaslights you to say it was what you wanted. If you need a mattress - be sure to see JOSE PAJAN - he was FABULOUS. I am moving to IN & at the last minute realized we had enough room on the truck for a mattress - so we went to PC Richards in Wayne, (my mom knew they had mattresses). The selection was good - not too much but not too few. There was a few that I liked within in my budget. The kicker was I needed to take it with me the same day - Thank you JOSE - he found one I most liked in overstock and put together a package with the frame so I could stay within my budget & take it home the same day. I can't say how grateful I am - starting over with nothing - Jose knew a good mattress for a great sleep is going to be key for my new adventure. If I lived near here, I would get all my mattress from Jose. read more

Recently upgraded our 25 year old appliances.... washer, dryer and combination wall oven/microwave. The process wasn't easy as the newer models are no longer made to fit older spaces. I must say... from Eddie the measuring guy, to Bill our salesman, to the delivery men... All deserve 5*****s My Special Thank you, however, goes to Carlos Ferreira, the Manager of the Wayne store. I went looking for a refrigerator almost 2 weeks ago because my fridge just died all of a sudden. I had been to a few stores and no one really even talked to me when I asked what was on sale or if any floor models were AVAILABLE UNTIL I GOT TO PC RICHARDS ON ROUTE 46 IN WAYNE NJ. NOT ONLY WAS MY SALESPERSON PHILIP HELPFUL HE REALLY CARED THAT I NEEDED A FRIDGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I gave him my measurements of fridge and he quickly brought them to his manager and I got a fabulous deal on a floor model. This review is for AJ (sales representative - should be Manager) I would like to say it was a pleasure working with AJ. He was absolutely: knowledgable, NOT pushy and very patient. My sister was looking for a new stove and he was able to determine the best product for her in a professional manner. He engaged in us appropriately and not like the other reps that just stared at me and my family when we walked in.. basically thinking there was No intention of purchasing..but luckily we were able to work AJ anyway! In the course of fully exchanging a faulting new dishwasher - one that had already been paid 2 months earlier - for another model, the store manager asked a salesman named Dino to help me. Even while there would be no commission for Dino - we'd already made the purchase via another salesman - Dino spent considerable time with us, patiently explaining the advantages of the various machines. I went into PC Richards knowing pretty much what I wanted. The very nice sales person, Gabriel, do not push me to buy something I did not want or need. He made sure I got the best price for the item that best fit my needs and desire. Delivery just came, prompt, two very nice guys, who did a professional install. Although I never go for an extended warranty, but after having been through three dryers in 14 years, I did opt for it this time after the manger made it quite appealing. We recently bought an LG Stainless steel 4 piece kitchen appliance package. The sales people were courteous and very helpful. Our main salesperson, Maichael Samaan along with Mike B., were helpful in the store and with follow-up text messages. This included encouraging us to visit other stores, get prices, and along with his manager told us to make them our last stop. We did this and they beat all prices plus 2 ten year warranties on fridge & stove. No hidden costs or surprises. They held our package for 7 weeks until we were ready for delivery, again, no issues. Wayne Store Mgr - John Dietz fabulous. Many service calls regarding a control panel on a Kitchen Aid Refrigerator. John and PC Richard Corporate Assistant were very professional and resolved the refrigerator issue. While solving my refrigerator problem I purchased another appliance from John. First-rate salesperson Moe was truly an expert on EVERY appliance in the store and made sure I received an excellent, well-priced "suite" of appliances for my new kitchen. I bought six major appliances in record time because Moe was so knowledgeable. Let me add that he was courteous and didn't try to fast-talk me into buying anything. He genuinely cares about making sure the customer is satisfied --- as does Tim, one of the managers. The other employees I met there were great, also.
