Super clueless hostess and "manager" wanted to seat my husband, self and two kids at crappy table 11 directly in walkway and adjacent to main door even though we made reservations two hours ago. Manager said better tables for those with reservations. Had to get a little grumpy, "you mean like us for instance." Finally, got sat at a decent table by a hostess with a crappy attitude. Usually we love PF Chang's but something is going on at this location that makes me hesitant to want to return. Unlike other restaurants that want to make the dining experience memorable, it seems more like eating in a cafeteria. Staff seems to be unhappy, kind of like they are more concerned about corporate guidelines than how happy customers are. read more

Lazy staff and manager , waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. Then staff and manager were rude. They don't seem to understand people are paying for service ( I'd be happy with just basic service and courtesy.) WILL NEVER RETURN. read more

This is my first review ever: I was so disappointed in my experience, once upon a time one of my favorite restaurants. The doors did not open at 11:00. No biggie. I was told they did not have wings so I quickly reordered. We ordered dinner portions at lunchtime. The server came back to report that they did have wings after all but he had already put my order in. The portions we received were so visibly small that we called the server over to make certain he understood we had ordered dinner portions.He assured us that lunch portions would be even smaller. We ate our meal as we waved away flies with every other bite. I finally asked to speak with the manager. He did agree to give us complimentary meals. What a disappointing experience. read more

not bad i ordered the Chengdu Lamb it was good waited forever for it was really busy 15 minute wait to be seated but could sit at the bar if i didnt want to wait. atmosphere seem like other restaurants (ie MAx n Erma's Mulligans etc) with little asian decor . they didnt have the peking duck which was on the menu.. read more

We had a early dinner yesterday. There were very few diners but we waited longer than we liked to be seated because the hostess was busy taking a to go order. Which was rather long and complicated. When she finally seated us there was no apology for the wait. P.F. Chang's is one of my husbands go to places because they have a nice gluten free menu. While our table was clean the floor was full of crumbs and trash. Food took about 15 minutes to arrive. That seemed long. Hubby asked for gluten free soy sauce but our waitress forgot and did not check back. We requested the soy sauce again when we caught her delivering an order to a nearby table. Food was good but the poor service and dirtiness of the floor took away from our experience. read more

Poor service, we waited over 30 minutes after we placed our order. Our waitress never came back to check on us. We eventually asked another waitress to check on our order. She did get back to us quickly, but they hadn't started to cook our food. She said they moved our order to the top of the list. We decided to leave as we had other plans and couldn't wait. read more

Been to other P.F. Changs and this is by far the WORST. The California roll was just ok I ordered the beef and broccoli and couldn't eat it. Beef was burnt and the dish was so salty and greasy. My daughter ordered the Singapore noodles and I asked it not to be spicy but it was so hot that she only ate 2 bites. Server never acknowledged that we had two dishes that we hardly touched. We ordered the dessert to go and what a joke. $3.50 for 2 quarter size wontons filled with vanilla and some raspberry sauce on the side. The ladies behind us had 2 different kinds of hair in their food and the server said he had to ask his manager what to do The manager did not want to give them their food for free and actually asked them if they wanted to keep it. Tonight was by far the WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant - any restaurant - ever. From the food to the service (if you can call it that). We arrived on a Sunday a little after 5pm to a half empty restaurant with the hostess telling us the wait was 25 minutes because the kitchen was backed up.... ok.... we waited. Once we sat down, we were not greeted for 15-20 minutes and once we were, it was another 30 to get our drinks. Did I mention we were a party of 2 couples with 2 kids under 4? Ever been to a restaurant with a toddler?! My daughter's noodles took 1 hour and 15 minutes to come out, only after we finally waved down our server to go and check on them. She put down this SCALDING hot plate in front of her, which was clearly sitting under a heat lamp for a while forgotten about. We had to go track down another server to even get silverware and napkins! My daughter wouldn't even touch her food and I don't blame her - it was a pile of dried out greasy noodles! The rest of the table's food came out over 2 hours later, including our other kids meal for my cousin's 2 year old. Every single dish was awful! Dry as h*ll meats, no sauce, just bad. So so bad. We were actually about ready to leave and go through a drive through just to get the kids fed and get home when the server came with the food. We only took a few bites before our little ones started asking to go home. Throughout the experience, our server was completely MIA, didn't check in at all and even the manager blamed it on the kitchen. Trust me, it wasn't just the kitchen that was bad! To make matters worse THEY DIDN'T TAKE A SINGLE THING OFF THE BILL. Not even my daughters noodles that She didn't touch annnnd i told our server about. I actually had to make her dinner when we got home!!! I will NEVER be going back and I plan on telling everyone I know to make the drive to Beachwood if they are craving P.F. Chang's! read more

My husband and myself met at PF Changs in Fairlawn yesterday a little before five pm. My husband was already seated in a booth. As I walked to the table to meet him I noticed the crumbs all over the floor. I had to wipe my seat off just to sit down. Our waitress comes to our table to ask if we would like a drink, we order. My husband opens his black napkin that has white fuzz all over it. We continue to look around, the tables beside us are dirty covered in crumbs and not clean. The more we look around the more we notice how dirty the dining area is. The dining area is not even busy, maybe ten tables at the most filled. My husband says something to the waitress in regards to the dining area looking unkept. Instead of being professional and say let me get someone to get this area cleaned up, she cops a attitude about how it is between shifts. She continue to tell us she is working a double and has not had time to clean up. The restaurant isn't even busy, what has she been doing? Needless to say we got up and left. We don't want to eat in a dirty unkept restaurant and have a waitress with a attitude wait on us. Very disappointed. read more

The food was tasty, not huge portions but tasty. Went with a friend and had Kung Pao Chicken--there are really no veggies in it (unless you count chili peppers and some scallions, which I don't) per the menu. I have always had veggies in kung pao elsewhere so I was surprised despite the menu...some places don't give you all the exact details in their menus... I was reminded of that at House of Hunan, Medina where they included stuff in the dish that was not on the menu., but I digress... I tried the Pad Thai, also good, not very spicy though the menu says it is. Crab wontons were good although not overly filled or particularly crabby and a little crispier than I think was necessary. Husband liked his Ginger Chicken with Broccoli... it was good, nice sauce. Here are my two hard to overcome issues because, yes, I am something of a germaphobe): (1)The waiter placed our menus on the plates we were later supposed to use for appetizers. We all know menus are gross and germy. (2) The waiter carried our 2 fortune cookies to our table inside the little carryout box. How many people stick their germy hands in the box of fortune cookies?! Not sure we'll go back. read more

I have always wanted to come to this place to eat. My bf and I decided to finally come for dinner. I was turned off from the beginning because the waitress had decided to lean on my bf's shoulder when she came over to greet us. I was not jealous, I just felt it was unprofessional. We were both polite to her and placed our entree orders. When our entrees were brought to our table my bf immediately realized the waitress had brought him the wrong dinner. He voiced to her that it was the wrong entree and she proceeded to try and prove her point that it was the right entree. We were both taken aback by this but remained polite to her. She just had to be right. My bf decided to just keep the dinner entree he had to avoid any further problems. We both ordered desert and when the lava cake and ice cream was brought over we did not have spoons to eat it with. When we tried to flag the waitress down we could not get her attention. I didn't want to eat my ice cream with a fork and knife. I then decided to go to the front desk and a asked for a spoon. The lady brought one of those chinese ladle spoons for soup that looks like a small trough. I then said no please bring a regular small spoon. She then brought over a huge serving spoon. Seriously. Another woman who worked there who witnessed this corrected her and stated "no a regular spoon." Finally, a normal spoon but by then the ice cream was no longer ice cream !! This was the craziest experience ever. We paid over $75 for this dinner encounter. The food was really good, no complaints there but the overall experience was very unpleasant when it came to the lack of professionalism, tact, and customer service overall. read more

My friends absolutely love this place. I can take it or leave it. Fortunately they usually get me a gift card for my birthday or Xmas, so I don't mind going. If I had to spend my own money I would choose another restaurant. Chang's isn't bad, it's just there. Good atmosphere, usually good, fast service; however, their main entrees are lacking. I find them to be the definition of chain restaurant food. They have a couple of good appetizers, and the coconut ice cream and fried bananas are my favorite for dessert. I usually avoid the entrees and pick and choose from the appetizers, sides and desserts. If you live in an area that is fortunate enough to have a few locally owned Asian restaurants, I would try those first and find a favorite. Chang's can get pricey, and the local places are usually cheaper but with limited menus. But like I said, if I was spending my own money, I would not pick Chang's for Asian style food. Look for small, local places and get the real (better) thing. read more

worst dinner ever... arrived at 5:10 pm and was told there would be a 30 minite wait. that was fine and asked for a table, not a booth. hostess went to seat us at a booth. i said we asked for a table. had to go back up to wait. finally seated correctly. the server barely came around. could not even get water to drink or water refill. finally ordered food. no server again for a long period of time. we see people around us, who arrived later, get their food. i then went to the hostess and asked for a manager and she said the kitchen is a little behind. im pretty sure our order was lost or never placed. we were offered a soup to make up for it i said no i dont want soup, we would like the food we ordered. at this point i wanted to leave and say we ordered, never got our food and all we drank was water. service has been terrible. my wife was hungry and said after waiting this long, might as well stay and not wait longer somewhere else. tables were not being cleaned and sitting dirty and there was a huge wait up front. bad management and staffing from servers to obviously kitchen help and bussers. im so pissed, i didnt want to talk or see anyone at thos point. a little more than an hour after placing order, 6:37 pm the food arrived and because i looked at my phone to see exactly how long it has been. at this point people who wete sat after us, were already done eating and leaving. our food finally arrives with the wrong rice side. we all ordered white rice and got brown instead. server came back and said she was sorry, she cannot do anything about kitchen error. i then told my wife, the service tho has been awful too. i know people live off their tips, but you have to do a good job to earn it and i dont feel she did her part. the food was pretty bland too. my fried rice had no flavor and needed a ton of soy sauce to flavor it. management could have done something like offered desserts or comp one of the meals. bad impression if this was the first time anyone ever dined there. i used to like going here to eat, after this, i will never go back. you lost a long time diner. read more
