This is my second time at this location; prior to that I hadn't gone to PF Changs in nearly ten years! It was nice to come back to some fresh Asian inspired eats, just like I remembered. Not everything on the menu is strictly Chinese food. There's Dim Sum and Thai too, their happy hour is impeccable (out of the national chains). On a whim, we decided to eat here for dinner and passively had heard it was also free sushi night. Can't beat a deal like that. We ended up ordering one sushi of each, pork egg rolls, chicken lo mein, combo fried rice, and my favorite, the chicken lettuce wraps. Everything tasted fresh, makes you wish you could eat more! Dinner was great, the restaurant is very clean and well decorated. Our server was on point we never waited long for anything that we requested. The food portions are fairly big, the entrees could feed two people with no problem. I do reccomend the Kong Pao Shrimp. The Pad Thai was a bit more wet then I'm used to but had a lot flavor. So yeah If you in the area you should definitely check them out. read more

We had a group of 8. We were told that they do not like to break up groups. We asked if we could have two groups of four. They said no, the wait was 1.5 hours. After an hour I was told maybe 40 minutes and again, was told they would not break up the group. They seated around 100 people in the time we were there. Finally we could not wait. We did carryout twice on our stay in Albuquerque. The first night, my husband ordered stir fry vegetables, which ended up being steamed and with no sauce. We figured it was miscommunication so tried again. We ordered lettuce cups. The flavor of the filling was good but most restaurants give you 4-5 large lettuce leaves for wrapping. We got half of the center of a head of iceberg lettuce cut in half. No way at all to wrap the filling. Pretty inelegant to say the least. We asked if we could eat our take-out on their patio and the host said that smog and dust would make it an unpleasant experience! We checked and the tables had not been cleaned from prior guests but smog and dust were definitely not the problem. read more

I regularly get take out or delivery from here when I'm visiting ABQ. The food is always consistent and good at this location. I enjoy a number of different entrees but the crab wontons here just can't be beat. They are stuffed with crab and served with a delicious sweet chili sauce. This last time I got delivery and I was so impressed- it came in a bag that seemed to be hermetically sealed! The food, was amazing. As usual. However.. the service was not the best. 1. We ordered 2 lunch rice bowls, and only one bowl came with rice. 2. We ordered an appetizer, and got 50% of the way done with it, and they just took it. We were saving it to eat with the meal. 3. We also ordered noodles, and won tons. And we never got them. Nonetheless, our final ticket only had what we ate, but we were really upset with the service. They also did not offer us to go boxes, when we had more to take home. I come in regularly, about once or twice a month. I order the same thing every time I come in. I order the chicken and broccoli, no starch, and white rice. I either sit at the bar with Gavin or in the dining room with Matt. This evening, I ordered the same thing I always order, and it came out wrong... I have worked in the service industry my entire life. I know that everyone works hard to make sure that customers are taken care of. I understand that servers are the face of the establishment and often get the crap end of the stick when food or drinks aren't what the patron expected. Gavin and the manager went out of their way to make sure that what I ordered was prepared right the second time. I thank the kitchen for re-making my food, Gavin for being very professional, and the manager for making other accommodations for me. I hope other patrons will take more time to appreciate their service as well. This establishment is a well-oiled machine. To see so many familiar staff solidifies my feelings about the organization. This is a favorite of my wife and therefore a favorite of mine. Food is fresh and delicious. Some of their preparations are a departure from other restaurants but most are in a good way. Bad service and very poor management. We were there because of a 2/$25 coupon that they said they would honor and then didn't. Manager herself refused even after seeing the coupon was valid. Food was hot but one spicy order had no spice. No chopsticks in silverware roll and server was swamped but slow. We were there at 8:30 on a Saturday after a rush but there was hardly anyone there. Oh and the men's room was filthy with paper towels strewn everywhere and trash overflowing BADLY managed. Won't go back. Very disappointed after a 14 hr drive from LA. Been to P.F. My wife got a gift card to Chang's for her birthday so we decided to give it a try. The food was right about what you would expect. The service was mostly good. We got mostly appetizers...wontons, crab rangoon, a sushi roll for the heck of it, a huge bowl of wonton soup, and the street noodles. All the food hit the spot, it was great. There was another waitress named Caroline that had the worst piss poor attitude I've seen a server have in a very long time. I ordered online to pick up, showed up on time... and spent 5 minutes standing by the bar, totally unacknowledged by anyone. Staff members breezed by without a hello, without asking me if I wanted to be seated or if I was waiting for takeout - there wasn't even eye contact. It was as if they just didn't want to deal with me so they ignored me. I watched a server bring takeout bags to someone at the bar and then start taking out each item, one by one, and discussing them at length with the patron. I always worry about businesses that aren't clean, initially everything looked good until our waitress escorted us to our booth that had food remnants on the seat. I have a thing for P.F. Chang's, and I'm not sure it's because I really really love this place, or because it was where one of the best first dates of my life happened. P.F. Changs is a great place to get a chinese food fix. I absolutely love their lettuce wraps. They are full of flavor, packed with awesome textures, and all around fun to eat! I am also a huge fan of the Chang's Spicy Chicken and when I get a craving, I get one bad. This chicken is always cooked to perfection, a little bit of a crunch, that tangy vinegar taste, spicy, and sweet all at the same time. Every piece is just perfect in your mouth. Perfection. Mmm, mmm, mmm! Also, it's fabulous that P.F. Chang's offers a gluten free menu! People on Gluten-free diets, have celiacs disease, or kids with gluten allergies all know how ridiculously hard it is to eat out. It's so hard to even go to salad bars that serve other foods because of contamination. However, P.F. Chang's could be a great option for these families! P.F. Chang's also offers one of the most magical desserts in existence... Fried Bananas. Now, let me tell you, it is not about the fried bananas, but about the coconut ice cream that comes with it. Holy saweet baby jesus, if I found out where to buy such an amazing ice cream, I would be 500 pounds. When you mix in those side item bananas it is like fireworks going off in your brain. So, P.F. For starters, the staff here is incredibly rude especially the bar tender. I have been here a few times for work events and they are consistently rude. It's almost this judgmental feeling every time I'm there. Additionally, I almost always get ignored, the staff believes that they should focus on clientele they believe will tip well. I used to go often to a Tucson location as my grandparents adored the chain there, but either things have gone downhill for all the restaurants or we've got a dud here in New Mexico. Strike one was when the lettuce wraps arrived and the meat was cold. How? Strike two was when the main platters arrived and they too were cold. What is going on here? Why does my food have the taste of the smell of a wet sponge? You know that smell, right? Like laundry that's sat in the washer for three days? Most servers in the other Chang's we've been too engage you and show you about the sauces and menu items. This guy was just about getting the order and moving on. But the food was a biggest let down, like something you might get a Walmart in their deli section. I had Orange Chicken and the sauce was thick and lacked taste. We always receive great food and good service. Prices are not too bad either. However, the wait can be a pain come dinner time or weekends. I never visit on the weekends or holidays for this reason. I can honestly say that most of the time we just call in an order and pick it up and enjoy it at home with a movie. I really love their Orange Peel Chicken and the fried rice. We love the chicken, beef, or mix of the two. Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps are also good. There is a really good selection on the menu to choose from, I am sure you can find something that you'll enjoy. I usually pass on the drinks here but the dessert is good. Came in this afternoon with my other half for lunch. We sat at the bar and Gavin was the bartender that helped us. He was so attentive and friendly, even though he was busy. Really hard worker and very on point. I ordered one of their new drinks the Collins something. Delicious! Not too sweet and the cucumber made the taste very refreshing. We ordered Chicken Satay appetizers, Egg Drop soup, and vegetable Lo Mein. Everything was so good! The egg drop soup and lo mein have always been a fav of ours and they never disappoint. This was the first time we've tried the Chicken Satay and it was so tasty I will definitely get it next time. The peanut sauce complimented it perfectly. We also forgot we had a gift card and paid separately. Gavin was so nice and completely redid our ticket to accommodate our gift card! He really made the experience even better.
