We came here on Father's Day evening. I was able to do a reservation so we didn't have to wait to be seated. The place was pretty packed. Our waitress gave us some good service despite how busy she was. They forgot to bring us one appetizer and when the dinner arrived she took the appetizer off our check but still made sure we got it while eating our dinner. The food was great! My daughter had the Mongolian beef. It was decent but needed some salt. I ordered the ginger chicken with the Brussels sprouts- tasty, flavorful and delicious! My husband had the honey crispy chicken and he really liked it but he also mentioned the need for salt. Had my first time here this morning. Shout out to Grace, my server. She was really nice and made my experience a good one. I had the lettuce wraps and a buddhist delight. Didn't like the fried rice and opted for lo mein noodles instead. The noodles were good but the portions were huge for a side. lol... But overall I liked it. Grace actually helped turn my day around. I had to make a trip to usps which really soured my mood cuz the workers were so lazy. P.F Chang's has a special place for me in terms of their family dining and great food experience. However this location did not live up to expectations. We were 10 minutes early for our reservation, the place was still mostly empty and we heard the manager tell the receptionist that they HAD to make us wait for being early and could wait outside only. This threw us off as you generally get seated if there is space even if you're a few min early. When we finally got sat down we were not assigned a staff person, new waiters kept stopping by or we had to flag one fo them to help us when they walked by. The food was up to expectations for P.F Chang's but the experience definitely disappointed us. So many people always recommend this place to us! We finally decided to give it a try! I had the Signature Lo Mein (picture below) ($11) it was actually great! It wasn't spicy but I added a paste sauce that they gave me. My husband tried the Kung Pao Chicken ($11)he enjoyed it as well, again not very Spicy (we like spicy) I hate to say this, but P.F. Chang's reminded me of an overpriced Pei Wei, the food tastes very similar if not identical to Pei Wei but more expensive! I finally contacted corporate and they were very nice and gave me a Be Our Guest card to come back. Well...we did tonight. We were completely ignored by the server (Deaundrea or something) for over ten minutes after seating. We got zero refills. He brought the bill, asked us if we wanted to go cups and we said yes. He came back, got the card and said he'd be back with the drinks and fortune cookies. We waited ten minutes. He never came back. The calamari was excellent and the honey chicken was good. The lobster and shrimp tacos were horrid: the "crispy" jicama shell was not crispy at all and there wasn't a single piece of lobster. I LOVE the food here but this dish was awful. I can't recommend this location. I love P. F. Changs but the service here is absolutely horrific. When you charge this much for entrees, this is not acceptable. While I appreciated corporate trying to make this right, they'd be better off training this staff. ************* Was super disappointed. Consistently underwhelms. Disclaimer: this mainly has to do with the to go aspect. After numerous attempts and a LONG leash, I finally broke down and gave this rating. Most of the other locations seem to have their stuff together, but this is the closest location. Many times orders are lacking or just not what was ordered. Maybe you're thinking it's an off night. That's fair. But when you say that every time, maybe this is just how they do business. What finally did it was the fact when I called, the wait for to go was going to be an hour and a half. Which honestly, in this climate I understand. But I wasn't told that until after waiting on hold for 5 minutes and ordering my meal. Had at any point they told me the wait would be that long. I would have said fair enough and gone elsewhere. Maybe I'm just being unfair about it, but this was the final nail in the coffin. My family & I attended this location tonight. The food was incredible. Absolutely delicious + timely. The food runner was SO KIND, fast, & doing everything that our slow/inattentive server wasn't getting to. This was our third time coming to this P.F. Chang's location in Allen TX (although Yelp claims that it was our first time...don't know why). We called up ahead to reserve our spot and had an easy check in process. The waiter came to us straight away to take our drink options. The hospitality was amazing and the service was very quick. Food - as always, I recommend the veggie lettuce wraps - crunchy tofu and crunchy lettuce - you can't beat that. For entree we took the Buddha feast - you can ask them to make it a little spicy and stir fried and it is perfect! For dessert, we took the butterscotch shot glass that has the right amount of sweet that you should eat! Overall. The food was amazing. I highly recommend their sake - warm and smooth. The atmosphere is really soothing with warm lighting and chill lofi beats. The service was on the slower end to my liking, but wasn't terrible. We started off the the Asian ribs appetizer. Comes with 6 large ribs and a slaw salad of sorts on the side. Beautiful presentation with the smoke filled cloche. The ribs were really meaty and loaded with flavor. The prominent flavor was basil. Too much in fact. Orderd our entrees. Honey shrimp and honey chicken. They do take food allergies very serious. They cook your food separate from any allergies you may have. The shrimp were unfortunately not crispy, as the menu promised. Same for the chicken...mush. The breading had a hard time hanging on to both the shrimp and the chicken. My shrimp were served on a bed of crunchy noodles...inedible. The chicken is served on cooked noodles. Our server asked if we wanted white rice, fried rice or noodles as the side. We both said fried. Lazy people work here. I ordered online with a curbside pickup time of 1:31 pm. I arrived at 1:21, called to let them know I had arrived. I called back at 1:41 and made the little girl who answered fone go find out status while was on hold. She came back and said person would bring out my order which he did. Excellent Valentine's night I got the Sea bass and wife ordered Mongolian beef. Both were cooked to perfection. Great texture and just right amount of sweet salty, didn't catch any hint of msg. Wish I didn't waste my money here. It was slow as hell and it took about 20 mins for someone to get us water. This is just the start. Ordered Singapore street noodles and it was under cooked. You can tell the food was just sitting out by how crusty it was on the top. Ordered a tofu dish that came with a side of rice and the rice was sitting out as well and was super crust on the top.
