I have never seen a bar area so nasty!!!! The bar itself was dirty with spills and food crumbs. We witnessed the waiters rub their noses than grab a straw and put in people's drinks. I'll be honest with you, I love and hate this place so much. The part I hate is that P. F. Chang's isn't real, authentic Asian cuisine, but the service is impeccable and the food tastes so damn good that I keep coming back here. I've been to this location multiple times and I'll tell you ahead of time. MAKE A RESERVATION AHEAD OF TIME. Even with a reservation, there's always really long wait times. Parking is always a huge hassle going here so I usually try to avoid going anywhere near Watter's Creek, but it was Mother's Day so we had to get my Mom's P.F. Chang's craving satisfied! I probably had the BEST server I've ever had, and that says a lot because I eat out way too much. Sun was our server and he was absolutely amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and super personable, I'll make sure Sun is working the next time I go! The food here tastes great. I'm a big fan of their orange peel shrimp and their Lo Mein! These are always good choices. Avoid the Beef a la Sichuan! The dish consisted of 90% green onions and carrots, and small shriveled pieces of beef. If you're like me and you absolutely love the frozen meals from this restaurant that you buy at the grocery store, you definitely will not be disappointed when you come to eat here. We went here on Christmas Eve. Omg!!! No sanitizing, bar was packed with patrons on top of each other! Never wiped down bar or tables in bar. We had a 7:15 reservation and we waited until 8:15 pm. We never had a real server because the table they seated us at was actually not supposed to be used during Covid. I ordered a spiked peach tea but no rum in it. Manager did come over and apologized and took 2 entrees off the bill. But my main. Concern was how they did not follow Covid protocol. We will not go back to this location. I just... love this place. I can't say much more about it. The food is so good every time I come in, everything is made with quality in mind and the service is top notch. Even though this place gets CRAZY on the weekends, they're always super nice to me and very apologetic if I have to wait for my to-go order for a long time. Had a P.F. Chang's gift card so used it for dinner. It was just OK. Don't come here expecting good Chinese or Asian food. There's not much flavor in their dishes. We had the appetizer sampler with pork dumplings. It was definitely ground pork but no veggies to give it texture or flavor. Had the lobster shrimp which was definitely average. The spicy chicken lacked spice and flavor. Saw an old interview with one of the restaurant's founders, Phillip Chiang, and he was so proud of how the food is freshly prepared everyday, is authentic, etc. No surprise that he sold out years ago. Also, the staff is so lackadaisical about cleanliness. A kid about 4 yrs was sitting at the table next to us with his mom and grandma. As kids do, he got lots of rice on the floor. One of the staff "cleaned" the table meaning she wiped all the food bits onto the floor. Another reviewer opined succinctly: "Overpriced Pei Wei". I'm not willing to go quite that far, but I am disappointed. This was the first visit for me and my wife, and we went with a couple of friends who had been a number of times (though not to this particular location). Things started off OK; the decor is very nice and the menu items look very inviting. We started with some appetizers; wonton soup was served in a large bowl and was quite good, although the wontons were just a tad underdone or something (they were a little "doughey" tasting). Pork dumplings (pan fried) were tasty and had a nice contrast between soft and crisp. Chicken lettuce wraps were really nice, with a tasty filling and crisp, cold lettuce leaves for the wrappers, this was probably the best dish. Of the whole meal. Things started going a little downhill after this. My hot and sour soup was mediocre, and crab wontons were about the same. My fellow diners enjoyed their entrees (honey chicken, kung pao shrimp and sweet & sour shrimp); I sampled each and thought all of them were average at best. The shrimp, in all cases, were pretty tiny, but did seem to be good quality. The sauces just didn't really excite me that much, but, in fairness, I prefer spicy over sweet in my Chinese food. But the biggest disappointment was my main course, touted as the "spiciest beef dish" on the menu, beef a la sichuan. The "strips" of beef turned out to be little pieces not much bigger (in any dimension) than paper matches, and they were tough and chewy. The vegetables were almost a julienne, long and skinny, and the sauce seemed non-existent and certainly not approaching "spicy". I sent it back after two bites, and I just couldn't see anything else on the menu that I wanted to re-spend that $10+ on. If not for the wonton soup and chicken lettuce wraps, this would be a solid 2 star review from me. My wife wants to go here again; I hope I can find an entree that better suits my tastes. Waitstaff and Host were perfect. Appetizer was goof but not great. The chairs are old and worn. Booths have holes and the backs are dirty, discolored and dingy from two decades with no replacing. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Prawns. what we got was overcooked, flavorless, greasy shrimp. Not prawns at all. My wife's order was supposed to have sautéed mushrooms. The were griled outside and raw inside. As if they were an afterthought. It was so bad that we decided not to finish our meal. Waitress brought a tab for the appetizer which I paid. No manager visit. We left and on the way out the door, what appeared to be the chef, came out of the kitchen, shabbily dressed, dirty and complaining to the hostess with language that is inappropriate for a restaurant that charges 26 dollars per order of the entree we chose. I tried one of their new items, I forget the name, but it's some type of udon stir fry, I got mine with chicken. What I love about this dish is that its spicy, which is not something I expected. In Texas this is the first time I have been there at this location .we went by 10 Ish and we did call up about their reservations and kitchen closing time . They politely welcomed us . Issues faced in dinner : 1.food was not even hot or warm it's cold food. 2. on top of that , waiter didn't have 0 percent interest to serve us ( not sure it's because of time or race) 3.when we were served with appetizers , they are not really bothered to serve us plates and spoons which I was annoyed . 4. When we asked to reheat the food . Manager was so kind and responded to all our request .infact my 2 stars is just for the polite kind manager. He is so damn good with us.
