I wish I had read the reviews before my friend and I decided to have lunch at the Arboretum location today. We had an order of Crab Wontons, split an entree of Sweet & Sour Chicken and two sodas. Definitely not worth $48. I've had much better, and less expensive food at Fire Bowl. The main reason for two stars was the condition of the restaurant. The red fabric on the booths were dirty. Especially along the top where one's head may touch. The lowest point of lunch was when water dripped on my friend's head and discovering there was quite a large wet spot on the not so clean red fabric. We pointed it out to our server guessing the water was from the AC system. He said the whole line of booths across the back area had water drips from the ceiling. Seriously, this place should be closed for a thorough cleaning of all upholstery. A total remodel would be better. For sure get someone to check the AC system. A recent reviewer said their "wonky booth" had cushions so worn they felt like a dog bed. read more

Egg rolls were good but $9 for 2 was a bit high. As for the lettuce wraps, $14 for not much filling and feel there were less ingredients and very few noodles in it with very little sauce offered in a tiny bowl. The lomein was tasty as I remember however the meats were tough and chewy. My husband had the kung pao and said it was good but again it seemed as though the portions were very minimal for similar dinner prices or so it seemed and $80 later including tip for lunch. As we all know the economy sucks and everything is more expensive. I got on my favorite app because it said that I would get free delivery which I really appreciate since it does help. P.f Chang's site says bigger portions. The only thing bigger was the containers. The food came in. One of my containers had an empty side. I had ordered lo mein which cost me an extra $2 and got the chicken and broccoli on top of it. It wasn't even 8 oz of chicken if that it was little nuggets pieces here and there and I paid over 20 some dollars for it. The cake I ordered look like a cupcake. In the past I've ordered a chocolate cake that almost four people could eat off of for the price that I paid for this one small cupcake looking dessert. I also requested Chinese fortune cookies chopsticks so I could eat my food which was not in my bag which is sealed by being stapled which I thought is great except for missing items and the unbelievable and small amount of food I got for almost the $60 order. read more

Nice place to grab decent Chinese food with fancy vibes, but reasonable price! We made a reservation in advance, but it has lots of tables, so I believe you can just walk-in. (But you will definetly get a better table if you make a reservation.) They have great selection of appetizers, main entrees, noodles, salad, fried rice, dim sum, they even have some sushi on the menu. I like their wine, cocktails are also inexpensive, so I ordered a bottle of Alamos Malbec, my husband got Large hot sake and coors light. For food, we got Kung Pao chicken which can't really go wrong! We also got fried rice combo, S&P Prawns as well and everything we ordered was delicious! The total was $104 (before tip) and we normally spend about $50 for take-out Chinese just for food, so I guess it's pretty reasonable. I haven't been to PF Chang's in forever and was really looking forward to it. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. It was my father's birthday and he is recovering from a fall and hip surgery so I ordered lunch to be picked up. I had my heart set on Singapore Street noodles but I could not order it through the online app for some reason so I called it in. I will give them some serious props on the decor. The restaurant is beautifully designed, I love the gorgeous mural over the bar and the graphic wallpaper, and those light features! Gorgeous! I waited by the pickup area for about 5 minutes and there were a lot of people who walked by and didn't ask if they could help, I finally stopped one for assistance. My father ordered beef and broccoli and we had to reheat the food as it had already gotten cold. He did comment that the beef was very tender, he seemed to have enjoyed it. The Singapore Street noodles were very dry and there were only two tiny shrimp. I have had this many times before and I have never experienced this quality or taste from PF Chang's before. Recently went to P.F. Chang's on a busy Sunday night. The food was subpar IMO, especially for the price. The egg drop soup had way too much green onion in it. Felt like I ordered green onion soup. We got the Dan Dan noodles which was lacking flavor, maybe because of the Szechuan shortage they mentioned. I still gave the evening 4 stars because of our waiter Jade. They were fantastic! Super attentive, interested in learning more about us as humans, fun and highly communicative the whole time. Jade really did a great job and super impressed with them. The black pepper chicken didnt taste like chicken, it was breaded like the frozen chicken bites in bags at Walmart and not freshly cooked. Taste like it was cooked the day before. Just awful. I ordered my food to go, so I can't speak about the atmosphere and service, but my order was great! I've always liked the vegetarian lettuce wraps, and although I haven't had them for a few years, they continue to be delicious. The lettuce tasted fresh and the dipping sauce was so good that I wanted to drink it straight from the cup haha. The filling itself was also really good, nice cubes of tofu. Just like I remember! Ordering food for pickup is a mystery. The person in front of me checked her food at the counter and said I want this more crunchy. This caused a complete delay. They knew my name and the person behind me. However, the host became so fixated on one person that the rest of us didn't matter. The people who came after us just had to wait. Finally another person walked over and said oh your orders are ready. She cleared 5 plus people by just getting our orders from the back. Duuuude my friends and I recently went to this PF Chang's in the north part of Austin. As a business trip we enjoy hang out together and breaking bread. In the past PF Chang's has always been one of our go to places when we're all in town. But, this visit turned out to be one of the worst visits to a P.F. Chang's I have ever been to. I grade or rank chain restaurants by consistency cleanliness and service. What else is there? We all know while we chose a chain restaurant over some thing else. Do you know what the flavor should be like the dishes that they prepare. We know we're not gonna be surprised by nuance or the chef's creativity. Having said that, our waitress was terribly forgetful. Even though she wrote down our order the wrong food was brought to the table, some food never arrived, and our drink order was constantly being sent back because they were the wrong drinks. What should've been 45 minutes to an hour in the restaurant, we spent two hours with food and drink constantly being returned. Not because it wasn't hot, not because we didn't like the presentation... But because it wasn't our food, they weren't our drinks. So, for that reason I'm rating this PF Chang's with such a low star count. read more

To start off with the restaurant looks neglected. The booth we sat at had an eight or nine inch rip in the cushion and the wooden table looked awful with lots of scratches across it. I could have handled both if the food had been good but it was the worst meal My wife and I have had in a long time. I really think their food must come pre-packaged in a microwaveable container that is popped into the microwave for a couple minutes. It was absolutely gross and tasteless.
