Came in on a Friday night, it wasn't extremely busy but the place was full. The wait was no longer than 4-5 min and the hostess was very polite. We sat down and our server greeted us right away, and we ordered fast and got our food in great time considering I was hangry at this point. Anyways, when I first tried this place I was not impressed at all and didn't come back for years. But the last couple times I've came I've been so impressed. The food is delicious! My family took me here for the first time last week. I really liked the look of the place. The bar was really nice too. The restaurant was very spacious and very clean. Every employee greeted us with a smile. I really didn't know what to order. But really couldn't make up my mind. The only item that I remember hearing good things about was the lettuce cups with the ground meat. I told the waitress about my dilemma. I asked her for any suggestions and what did she liked. She said the lettuce cups and the noodles. I asked what noodles out of the two they had and she said the Lo Mein. So I went with both of those and they were delicious. What happened to P.F. Chang's guys? I seriously used to love this place. It's been a long time and we haven't visited in more than 4yrs and I've been craving some P.F. Chang's eggplant and man was I disappointed. Back in the day you would hear me arguing with people if they talked trash and I was over here backing P.F. Chang's up if anyone told me it wasn't a real Asian restaurant because they were the bomb back then. On our recent visit we ordered a lot of food. We got 2 appetizers. Pork dumplings and the chicken lettuce wrap. First things first, I already knew we weren't gonna have a good experience because the sauce was poured over the dumplings when they served it to us. I don't normally like my dumplings drenched because I like to taste the inside of the dumplings, so that was already a fail. How about some people don't eat the sauce? Because some people don't eat it. Anyway, dumpling was okay, not too much flavor inside, so it definitely required the forced sauce on the top. Then the lettuce chicken wraps came and it was delicious. The downside of the lettuce wrap is they used to have sauces on the table for you to make your own sauce if you wanted more heat and now they just serve you the sauce already made. Next we ordered the crispy honey chicken, the stir-fried eggplant and the signature lo mein noodles. So the description on the crispy honey chicken on their menu it says it's served with green onions. I'm not mad about them missing an ingredient in this one because it was still good, but it wasn't spectacular and the portion they give for $15 is ridiculous. They put those crispy rice noodles on the plate to make it look more and they put the chicken on top of it in the center, but they fill the plate with that crispy rice noodle to make it look more than what it is. The eggplant was fantastic and was the reason for my visit. I was really happy with the eggplant but it tasted different then what I remembered, just saddened that P.F. Chang's no longer has the ground chicken one on their menu anymore. The lo mein noodles was horrible! We added all 3 proteins for $3 more and they pan fried the steak, chicken and shrimp with oil and absolutely no seasoning. They also didn't put seasoning on the noodles which did not taste good at all. I would never order that again. The lo mein noodles used to be one of my favorite items on their menu. Staff here was very polite and attentive. I don't see myself coming back in the future. I also noticed their furniture getting old in the lobby and the benches had cracks on the leather. They need to do an upgrade on the chairs, but other than that, the restaurant still looks nice, it's busy and they have tons of tables. Parking is also not an issue. read more

Let's give it up for Austin! We had outstanding service on the bar patio. There was an abundance of host staff standing around up front. We ordered northern ribs (that dry rub is incredible!), garlic noodles (no longer on the menu), tempura shrimp roll, chicken lettuce wraps, and crispy green beans. Yummy and satisfying all the way around! The Chang MaiTai packed a good punch! I love that they offer patio seating. Covid-19 or not, I love alfresco dining. Worst restaurant we have ever eaten at in our lives. It was the most disgusting food we have ever eaten. It was so bad, that I got physically sick. It wasn't just one dish, it was chicken lo mein, ramen, and orange chicken. The lo mein chicken was burnt black, the ramen was so overly seasoned with ginger that you couldn't taste anything else, the orange chicken was not cooked correctly and had the consistency of glue. If I could give zero or negative I would. When order placed I was told 15/20min; I got there 30min. After order placed. Husband was told to wait in car. We waited almost an hour. I went in, a cashier had their back faced to the counter and a lady on the short side with curly hair, older woman. I finally get my food, and my green beans are cold,soggy,and overly salted. Having waited so long. I just left. That will be the last time I go here. Very rude staff, and slow. My wife and I went there for lunch and got there at 11 am. There were only two tables so we figured it would be fast for lunch. I ordered beef lo mein and wife ordered the orange chicken lunch bowl and kid got the low mein with vegetables. My beef was over cooked, like beef jerky texture, noodles were dry with little flavor. I always order this and normally it is good. The food took one hour to make it. The wife liked her food. They had one cook that day and got real busy. Can't really go wrong with PF Chang's and the Chinese American offerings. It does lean heavily on the American side, but it is still a good place. The atmosphere feels a little upscale though it is casual. Staff is attentive and helpful, informative on recommendations. Food came out fresh, though a little bit of wait. I recommend the shrimp fried rice, very well balanced flavor and even components that none were fighting each other. Let me say first I love P.F. Chang's food, and have eaten there both dine in and curbside many time. Tonight when I ordered I felt cheated. I really wanted the Mongolian Beef and I ordered the add on "extra beef". Now I know what a portion is normally, and that is what I had when I got home, no extra. I even asked my wife, whom I didn't tell I was ordering extra, "does this look about right for portion size" she said, "well it looks a little smaller than normal, but close to normal" So I was cheated. I've been here on two occasions. The first time was in August for my birthday and last night for a date night with my wife. Both times it took over 45 minutes to an hour to get our food. The food is poor to sub par quality. The rice was undercooked. Stay away away from the short rib dish. 33$ for 8 thinly cut pieces of meat. The drinks are OK and the price is just not worth it. I went here last night with my son after the symphony for dinner. I made reservations for 9 online. We got there a lil early but they got our table ready pretty quick. Now first off I have to say that the 5+ start review is for SERVICE!! Every time i come here i usually get the same waitress and service was always meh...Last night tho we got JOHNATHAN. He was FABULOUS!! He made my night actually,,,his personality was funny, sweet and just f*ing delightful. We never wanted or needed for anything. We were absolutely starving when we got there and i had realised that i forgot to eat lunch duh no wonder lol. Anyway i warned him that we were gonna be piggies and get 2 apps and the pig out session would continue hahahha... We started with the new tempura calamari with veggies and pork dumplings. Oooooo that calamari!! perfectly light and crispy and sooo tender. They serve it with this sweet siracha dipping sauce which was so good. It had red bell peppers, carrots and fresh baby spinach FRIED!!! Can you tell it was yummy?? The pork dumplings were juicy and good too, and yeah the 2 of us ate every bite of both apps... Ok now to the entrees we got singapore black pepper chicken, sesame chicken, wok fired filet mignon, and a side of long life noodles. The singapore chicken was good but definitely not the same as before it was a bit dry and crispy instead of being tender and juicy and saucy. The sesame chicken although good just wasn't for me, it's served with raw broccoli on the plate which i couldn't tell was either "garnish" or supposed to be eaten it did have sauce on it but it just seemed confused to me. The star was most definitely the Filet!! it's fired with potatoes, onions and grape tomatoes and has this yummy vinaigrette on it yea we were fighting over that one we just ended up eating it right out of the lil wok it's served in Lol. Ugh the long life noodles what happened they did not have that flavor they did before i cannot tell you exactly what it was but it tasted kind of sour and sweet like they were doused in sweet chili sauce..My son also said nope they are completely different than last time. The rice came out hard not cooked enough, order the white rice it was cooked all the way . Service was not on the game the table had to ask over and over for water. For 98 dollars. I was not happy . Talked to manger not asking for money back . Was told all was cooked the same . Measured the same . So I would never tell anyone to eat there or go back . The automatic message said to place all orders online, so we tried that and were unable to get an order in. As we were just 15 minutes away, we figured we'd go in and place the order in person. We arrived at 8:38pm, and the two gentlemen behind the counter asked how they could help me. I told them I wanted to place an order. Their response "for food?" (No...I want a dozen 2x4s and an oil change...‍) Yes. For food. "Oh. We're not taking any new orders for food right now. We're pretty busy in the kitchen." So with more than 20 minutes to closing time, we were denied service...because they were "busy"?? I don't care if you're "busy"! If I walked into your restaurant 5 minutes before closing under normal circumstances, I would still be seated and served. This is a pathetic way to treat your customers, especially on a special occasion. I certainly won't ever be back to this location. read more

Found a hair in the rice and had to wait until a food runner came by because the bartender never came to check up on us when the food came out. The $1.85 was too much. In hindsight, the gift card would have been better spent at the bar. I haven't been here for a year. The quality seems to have dropped off a bit. I typically eat in the bar and get a hand full of appetizers. I had the spicy tuna roll, I was disappointed. Ordered my birthday dinner from PF Chang's, my husband went to pick it up and it was not ready when their system said it would be so he had to sit and wait. Once the food got home, the crispy green beans were cold and not crispy. I ordered the vegetarian lettuce wraps and what we received was nothing like what they used to make - instead of iceberg lettuce it was romaine lettuce and trying to put the food in the romaine was difficult and very hard to eat without everything falling out of it. The tofu was horrible, extremely mushy and nothing was finely chopped like Chang's used to make it. I ordered the new teriyaki chicken but requested no chicken but tofu instead - HUGE mistake! Again the tofu was mushy, as mushy as the broccoli; it should have been made crispy like the chicken was that also came with this dish - did they get new chefs that don't know how to prepare the tofu?? I always love coming to P.F. Chang's they added a new menu item and they have a vegetarian option it's called the lettuce wraps and they are super yummy! I love the mo pa tofu because it has some spice and broccoli. I also enjoy the veggie lo main and brown rice! It's enough to share between three!
