I stopped by P.F. Chang's tonight with a friend on a whim, and even though the restaurant was clearly busy and seemed a little short-staffed, our server, Patrick, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely positive throughout the entire meal. He apologized for the wait when needed, but never let the busy atmosphere affect the level of service he provided. In a time where great customer service seems harder and harder to find, Patrick really stood out. Thank you for making our dinner such an enjoyable experience. P.F. They currently have a three star Yelp rating and unfortunately it shows. It has been a very long time since we have eaten here and after Covid, service seemed to have dropped. Unfortunately it doesn't look like it's improved. We came today to meet with a friend, and I wanted to try their new Sushi Boat experience. On social media it looks so appealing and made to look like the rolls are a decent size. The special comes with edamame, California roll, shrimp tempura roll and a choice of two additional rolls from either the spicy tuna roll, Dynamite roll, or their new smoked kung Pao dragon roll. Before I get into my order, let me mention that upon being seated, it literally took over 10 minutes for anyone to come over and greet us or even offer us waters. We were catching up with our friend so we did not mind too much, but that's how I realized it was taking so long because no one was coming by, I almost asked the hostess if someone is aware we are sitting there. I could tell the server was busy and already had a few tables to deal with, but a quick flyby just to acknowledge your table you know they are there is a great help so customers aren't left wondering. So with the lengthy wait, I already knew what I wanted, however my wife and our friend were still deciding. I told him I was ready and I wanted the sushi boat. He said ok and left. He did not ask me what two rolls I wanted from the choices. When he returned, I asked how do you know what rolls I wanted and his reply was oh you get in addition the spicy tuna and the dynamite roll. I said I wanted the dragon roll. His reply was you can choose that but it's additional. I showed him the promotional flyer and no where does it indicate anything additional and either way, he still should have asked me what my choices were. When I said I want the dragon roll he said, well, he already submitted the order for the dynamite roll. I told him, that's not what I want and you never asked me. He was able to change the order thankfully. My order came and it was a nice presentation with the boat and some dry ice flare. I really should have known better than to order sushi at a Chinese restaurant because the rolls honestly were just a more fresher version of Costco ready made sushi rolls. It tasted freshly made, but between the four rolls that you get, the shrimp tempura roll was really the only thing that tasted different. For $54.95, I could have eaten at an all you can eat sushi for less than what I paid. There were a lot of other issues that occurred, but I don't want to make the review into a longer story. Bottom line the manager came by, I made him aware of the issue and hopefully they can improve on it. I know 100% I will never order sushi from P.F. Chang's in the future. read more

Food was decent, but the behavior of one employee significantly ruined the experience. Leslie Marie Garcia repeatedly made inappropriate comments about my personal relationship and crossed clear boundaries that have nothing to do with dining service. It felt intrusive and unprofessional, and it made our visit uncomfortable from start to finish. Customer-facing staff should not be inserting themselves into guests' private lives. Update 6/25/26: I just had what I thought was an entree plus fried rice delivered to find surely PF's must have gotten confused in what they sent. I paid $33.39 for an entree portion of Mongolian Beef plus $4 to upgrade to fried rice. Look at the pic, you are basically getting an appetizer portion of Mongolian Beef and a scoop of fried rice. Look at my older pix and you will see the size difference. Then let's talk about how the dish should be called Mongolian Onions because there's more onions than beef. Please note someone just chopped up fresh onions and didn't even bother to sauté them as they should have! If I could, I would have asked for a refund! We came to celebrate my birthday early and ordered Mongolian Beef, Chicken Pad Thai (my favorite), Pork Egg Rolls, Egg Drop Soup, and for my free appetizer I chose Chicken Lettuce Wraps (love these). To drink I had a Pomegranate Lemonade (non-alcoholic). The service was very good and the ambiance is casual, as it is connected to the Cerritos Mall. This is one of my favorite places to go because the food is delicious, I have never encountered an issue regarding customer service, and the Rewards program. I recently dined at P.F. Chang's and left feeling disappointed, especially considering the prices. The shrimp pan dumplings arrived only slightly warm. In my past visits, the sauce is usually poured onto the plate with a noticeable sizzle, but that didn't happen this time. The dumplings and the rest of the food felt closer to room temperature than freshly prepared. The Mongolian beef also wasn't served hot. The biggest disappointment was the $40 lobster and prawn fried rice. It included only two small prawns and a very small lobster tail on top, with no protein mixed into the rice. The rice itself also tasted fairly bland. It also feels like the portions have continued to shrink while the prices keep increasing. I remember when entrées came with rice or lo mein as part of the meal. Now, they were served with a much smaller bowl, depending on the entrée ordered. On a positive note, the service was good. We were seated almost immediately, and our waitress checked on us several times throughout the meal and was attentive. Overall, this visit didn't meet my expectations. With the current prices, I was hoping for hotter, more flavorful food and portions that felt like a better value. read more

We found one in Cerritos and to our surprise the food was OK definitely not as good as it used to be. However, the prices were reasonable. The egg drop soup was perfect. The hot and sour soup was good and I liked the house noodles but they were very bland they paired well with the glazed shrimp. We decided to go to the bar and the bar tender doesn't have a good attitude to treat people, he is an OK bar tender, he never came to see if we needed anything else, he messed up one of my orders, He took longer to take our order and once the food came everything was dry, overcooked and it tasted burned. We ordered beef Mongolian (super dry and burnt) and Lomein noodles with chicken and also chicken was overcooked. We are definitely not coming back. Got a gift card for Christmas. We ordered 2 lunch specials to-go today. The portions were really small ($15.99/ea) and the food didn't seem fresh, like it was premade and just heated up. I've had better frozen Lean Cuisine meals. I asked for the salad dressing on the side, but they didn't close the container, and salad dressing was everywhere when i got home. Absolutely fabulous food. My guy and I had a reservation. We were celebrating so we got a card at our table service was great from start to finish. The entire staff works as a team. I like this location because parking is easy and free. We opted for the Chefs feast. We did a few upgrades so it was very costly. Our bill including a really cool drink, a tea pot and tip was close to $100.00 The lettuce wraps were amazing and I am obsessed. So obsessed I taught myself how to make them. Second we got a soup which was very spicy. We also had a salad that had a great dressing. For our main event we had teriyaki chicken whivh was amazing. She knew all the answers to my questions about the gluten-free options and was excellent about checking in on us! I absolutely loved the spicy chicken and fried rice! In my opinion I could live off it. The beef and broccoli could have been better, it was a little too salty and the beef was possibly a little thick and chewy. I did enjoy having it again though because it has been too long. A lot of choices for lunch specials, or a la carte... For pad thai w shrimps, flavorful, lots of shrimps, well seasoned. Give 5 stars. For orange chicken, big chunky piece not the one bite size. The worst experience I have had ever at a restaurant. Their food is all premade and awful. I ordered a chicken dish that did not specify the meat was coated in flour. It was awful and I asked to have it made without the coating. I got a plate with chicken in a clear dirty dishwasher looking sauce that I would feed my dog. I had explained how I eat one meal a day and really look forward to a good meal. We went home having eaten edamame and some not so good salad for $67. The manager even agreed the food was awful. This place was packed, I have no idea how. Sorry but people save your money and hit up the food court for better Chinese food. read more
