Have not been to a PF Changs in a few years but stopped by for lunch and were impressed. Lunch bowls are reasonably priced and very tasty. The spicy chicken was excellent and the sauce layered into the brown rice for a decent meal. My wife had crispy chicken bowl and loved it. Menu seemed a bit limited, but that might be for lunch. I wish it was closer to us, as a decent chinese restaurant seems to be non-existent in Loudoun county. read more

Last night, April 28, 2025 I was deciding what TIP to leave for our subpar service at PF Chang's when I realized something was wrong. A party of 10 usually has a service charge added, yet this bill was marked "Gratuity Not Included". So I reviewed the bill, which I seldom do, and found a $61.16 gratuity was included. I wonder how often people double tip? I especially disliked the happy face thank you the server added next to the Tip space on the copy I was to sign. The manager didn't seem too concerned when I pointed this out. UGH. read more

Hot garbage. The food was bland, some of it was burnt, and all around just not good. Also, the service was terrible and the server repeatedly got orders wrong. My friend was even charged for a vodka soda that literally had no vodka in it. You're better off with fast food. Especially with how stupid expensive it is now. read more

Went during lunch and should have known the food was gonna be a big miss judging by the empty restaurant at the height of lunch hour. We stayed for about four hours and no more than 10 guests arrived. Why? The food is honestly bland as ever and downright gross. The spring rolls had mushrooms and other unrecognizable food in it and the sesame chicken was as underwhelming and disappointing as the spring rolls. Absolutely no taste or flavor like year's past. This was one of the worst dine in experiences I've had. First off, when we ordered drinks there was a bug in one of them. Second, when we ordered our appetizers the vegetable spring rolls were cold, and the inside texture was off putting. After that, I had ordered an entry in which I asked for the shrimp to be removed because I don't eat seafood by choice. The waitress later came back with the entry and when I asked her to double check if there was no shrimp, she asked if I was allergic and then chose to tell me there was also oyster sauce inside. I was really looking forward to this but was disappointed. I can't say much about the ambiance or the service as this was a takeout order. The food wasnt great. Real hit and miss. I love shrimps and struggled to eat their firecracker shrimps. It was overly coated with bread and mushy. The kids sweet and sour kids meal was fine for my little ones, happy they tried it. I had my husband pick up my lunch. I was shocked that they had raised the prices to dinner prices. I wanted lunch portions and thought I was ordering them. I ordered shrimp with candied walnuts which they no longer have. They would substitute shrimp with peanuts fore $25.29. Crispy green bean appetizer was now dinner sized priced at $10.49. A cup of Hot and Sour Soup was 6.29 with your having to pay extra for the crunchies. 4 sping rolls became 3 for $6.29. The food was mediocre at best. I will never go to their restaurant again. I will stick with the Chinese restaurant in Greenbriar without the ambiance but with delicious food at reasonable prices. read more

He was met by an incredibly rude and disrespectful manager who basically gave him the impression that his time was being wasted on my father and stated "a waitress, could have done this..." My level of disgust in a restaurant that refers to itself as family focused, is unbelievably disappointing. Excellent meals. The waiter is new! We had to ask several like two soy sauces, refill water, and others. The waiter is slow. We waited for a check. We do plan coming back! We ordered take out online here on a Saturday night. The online ordering was easier than some I have seen and let's you check out as a guest, which I appreciate. Hubs got his usual spicy orange chicken better known as General Tso's , MIL got chicken lo mein, DD got CA rolls and orange chicken- not the spicy version and I got the GF Singapore noodles. Spice level was pretty low all around even the "spicy" ones, but overall good for what it is. I appreciate the food and will be back. It's just not stellar. read more

I only rated them because it doesn't give me an option not to rate them. The staff at the fairfax location could not handle to demand of the guests dining in. From the start, the reserved table I requested was not available upon arrival, next as the host was walking us to the table he advised us that we could only stay for 90 minutes; then the Valentine's Day menu was not offered even though they had advertised a three course menu for that special day at $19.99/person, needless to say we had to ask for that menu. In addition to the above, They mixed the brown rice with the white rice and when we asked about it; the server told us the dishes were dirty so they mixed them. Telling customers that you don't have enough clean dishes is unacceptable! They had an abundance of staff there but they all seemed to be hanging around at the front desk, maybe one or two of them should have been directed to help with cleaning the dishes. My first time at a PF Chang's (I've only had takeout and the microwaveable food before) and it was great. We ordered a bevy of things (edamame for appetizer, orange chicken, fried rice, lo mein, sushi, and Peking duck). The edamame was light and refreshing. Calm before the storm kinda treat. Once the orange chicken came, we paired that with the veggie fried rice and lo mein and went to work. The orange chicken was very tasty, not overtly sweet; a lil crispy, and juicy. The sushi was also great (Kung pao dragon roll and shrimp tempura roll). Both had great fillings and flavor. My favorite was the Peking duck though. The meat was tender and tasted fantastic when put inside the roti with the veggies and hoisin. Really enjoyed my meal here and would love to come back and try new entrees. read more

Here's some tips and tricks and advice on how to have a positive, yummy experience at PFC Fairfax: * DON'T order for pick up or delivery - in reading the reviews, the common theme in most of the negative ones were from people who ordered for carry out or delivery. Shouldn't that be a sign??! * DO eat IN. Yes yes I get it - covid scary risky. But follow these tips if you do go to dine in: DON'T go on the weekends (including Friday nights) when it tends to be super crowded. (That's just silly. Why would you do that lol.) * DO go on a weeknight, but not during dinner rush and ALWAYS call and make reservations - yes, make reservations even if you make them as you walk out the door to head over! I've been several times since my last review and I've followed these guidelines and the dining experience has always been positive. Not crowded at all. No wait. The servers are super friendly and attentive. The food comes out promptly - fresh and piping hot. We always order our soup first (their wonton soup is TO DIE FOR - get the big bowl) and if we order appetizers, we have them come out WITH the main dishes. Their new dark ceramic dishes are champs at retaining heat so everything stays nice and hot. You won't get that with carryout or pick up. PFC Fairfax has been consistently delicious, hot, fresh with excellent dine-in service and they do practice covid precautions (reduced capacity and leaving every other table/booth closed for seating). We always get the lettuce wraps - love 'em. But, the have changed the "sauce" that comes with them and it's not good!! We always wished we had more of the previous sauce because it was so good. The new stuff is graining and doesn't taste good. We ended up not finishing it all like we normally do. Won't be getting those anymore. Why change something that was SO good?! It's been a while since I've been here but decided to order via Uber eats, order was ready at 3:04pm as stated on the app. Upon entry to the take out door, it's empty, 2 servers walked past and did not acknowledge me, finally a young lady came up and asked if me if I was helped yet. I showed her a screenshot and she went to the back to check on my order. Shortly afterwards, a young g woman brings out my bag which is sealed up and checked off on the recipe. I ask "is it accurate?" And she says "yes". Low and behold I get home, 14 miles later and the shrimp fried rice is missing but I have David's vegetable lo mein, they had one job to ensure all 4 items for me where packed, sigh, one job! I was disappointed at the lack of seasoning in the food and inaccuracy! Thankfully Uber Eats credited that portion of the order. Kind of disappointed. Ordered combination lo mein and it came with three shrimp half a piece of beef and two pieces of chicken. Noodles were hard and tasteless. Just very disappointed after having such a wonderful time back home at PF. Doubt we'll order from here again. read more

Greeter saw me in blue collar clothing and would not speak to me . I finally said hello I'm hungry and she just said follow me . Put me at a table right next to server prep in a fully empty restaurant. Ordered the lunch special and a strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was water with lemon and a the essence of strawberry. So that was a bad start . While I like eating here I see when I'm in work clothes looking like a certain demographic, I get treated differently which is really off putting. With the lunch special came a pork egg roll which was fried to perfection and cut in triangles. The texture was perfect. The egg roll came with what I can only call an orange sauce which had an inedible level of wasabi in it . So strong I could smell it from across the table . I can eat hot food and this was hot but gross because of how hot it was . My entree was Mongolian beef which was cooked to perfection. So while I wasn't an epic meal like usual. I'm atleast certain of this establishments politics and that they do not actually taste their sauces . I'll try another location while in my work clothes and see if they are just as weird. read more

DURING COVID* was in the area and wanted dinner but every place seemed busy in Fairfax corner. I was able to easily make reservations online and walked in 5 mins later. Immediately noticed the socially distant practices in place with tables spread out and empty tables in between. Tables were being sanitized and wiped down left and right. We were seated after only 10 mins of waiting and were given paper menus as well as QR code's. The menu has changed just a little but we loved everything we ordered. Presentation of the sushi was fun with the smoke. Servers did a great job, I can't imagine how hard it is to work all day running around talking and serving meals with a mask. First time visiting the store, the food choices are very limited. For Chinese food, I had expected better than this. The food quality is below average. Our server was rushing us to order when we had told him it's our first time. The interior is dark and seat was uncomfortable.
