Haven't been here in awhile...like 10 years. I'm glad we stopped by and tried to enjoy some Chinese food. For starters we ordered crab Rangoon and that was great start for our dinner. There were a good amount of crab meat and green onions per piece. The entrees - Mongolian beef, Chicken with broccoli and Combo fried rice were solid selections to enjoy and share. We made a visit on a Saturday afternoon around 3;00. We were quickly seated and our drink order was taken. Our waitress was pleasant and prompt. My first time here with my cousin and ambiance, the staff, Juan, the manager and our waitress Maggie were wonderful. Maggie was on poin for sure and we didn't have to ask or remind her for anything. Truly disappointed! We like to come here for date night. The food is usually top notch and the drinks are typically superb but lastnight was the worst experience we have ever had. When I called to make the reservation they informed me that they were not able to seat more than a group of 8. My original group was 12 people...so I had to cancel plans with 4 people to accommodate. But the worst part was after hearing my disappointment that they could not at least sit us close by eachother to accommodate my entire party, the hostess suggested that I try a place like Maggiano's or Cheesecake Factory. That totally blew my mind...but I made the reservations regardless because my husband and I both love their Peking Duck. For appetizers we ordered the Bbq spare ribsand the pan seared shrimp dumplings. The spare ribs and the dumplings were the best food item that we had ALL NIGHT! I'm not a fan of steamed dumplings so pan seared is always my go to. The spare ribs are tender and have a nice sweet but not overpowering sauce to go on them. Whatever sauce comes with the dumplings is the perfect combination when you drizzle it over the dumplings. Well Peking Duck was not on their menu lastnight and we should have just dined elsewhere at this point. Then we decided to order the Sea Bass dish but 10 minutes after ordering it, the waitress tells us that they are all out of this dish. So I went with the Salmon, Crispy Honey Chicken and the Short Rib Fried Rice. The salmon was just okay and the vegetables looked like they tossed them on a hot wok and threw them on a plate....which I'm not quite sure why anyone would want pan seared dirty looking lettuce but that's what we got. The crispy honey chicken was a waste. You are basically eating tempura batter rather than chicken with tempura batter on it. Whoever decided to cook this dish also decided not to seperate the peices of chicken when frying them, so we had huge globs of tempura batter with hardly any chicken. The short rib fried rice probably was good but for me the spice level was overpowering and I wasn't able to enjoy the flavor. We ordered a slice of cheesecake to go and that is always delicious so hopefully nothing was done to switch up that recipe. We were highly disappointed in our visit. The Ewai of the Tiger or Eye of the Tiger drink was the best part of the night. The drink was refreshing and had a nice smooth flavor. We also ordered the Tokyo Mule which is usually pretty amazing but lastnight it was disgusting. Needless to say I returned this drink and asked for water instead. I don't know if we will ever go back but it sucks that was paid over $100 for a birthday dinner that wasn't even worth it. The two stars I gave are for the bbq spare ribs, pan seared shrimp dumplings and the tiger drink we enjoyed. read more

My hubby has been talking about taking me here for a while- so we ventured out for a belated V-day treat. We walked in and the wait time was over 45 minutes- as she was taking my name I saw 4 seats available at the bar- I quickly verified bar was first come first serve and cancelled my table check in to grab a couple of bar seats. I ordered a coconut mojito and hubby got himself a beer and we began looking at the menu. Egg rolls were a must- they were stuffed with fresh veggies however- were not hot on the inside. The outside was hot, but the veggies inside were only lukewarm. Next up- beef and broccoli for me and chicken and shrimp pad thai combo for hubby. My beef and broccoli was good- but every thing was huge chunks- the broccoli needed to be cut down to bite size instead of being a 1/3 chunk of a broccoli head. Not suitable for chopsticks and even the beef was more than a mouthful and very fatty. I had 2 pieces I wouldn't have eaten if I could've managed to spit it out. I know- gross. Needless to say- I didn't eat much and passed it along to hubby. Husband however loved his food and ate every bite and ate the meat off my plate. Hubby says broccoli is the devil's vegetable... yeah. We paid our check and I was at another store when I realized we didn't even get fortune cookies! Pft- $60 bill before tip and no fortune- fail! For Valentine's Day dinner, My husband and I had dinner at PF Chang's and I must say it was very romantic and intimate dinner. We both haven't been in years and decided on a whim to go have our Valentine dinner here. We aren't able to celebrate on 02/14 so we decided to go on the Sunday before Valentine's Day. Service The service was nice and quiet on a Sunday. We went Sunday evening and we were seated quickly and our food and drinks came out fast as well. The waitress, Taylor, was so sweet and bubbly. We really liked her! Food We ordered 3 appetizers: bang bang shrimp, dumplings and crab Rangoon. These are my husbands and I'd favorite appetizers so we decided to splurge. My least favorite was the dumpling bc I felt like they were freshly made from scratch but they lacked some flavor. I loved the crab Rangoon and the sauce they provided with it which had a tangy spicy kick to it. The shrimp was delicious too and my husband and I ate them up but I was so sad there wasn't more shrimp. It was the size of a small bowl and my husband and I just wished they were bigger and the portion size was larger but it was still delicious. My husband ordered the Honey chicken with white rice and I ordered Mongolian chicken with white rice! Must say the Mongolian was amazing and made fresh to order. It was marinated in the sauce and cooked to a nice medium. My husbands honey chicken tasted like sweet and sour chicken dripped in a golden honey sauce- an amazing pairing. Alcohol Coconut mojito is now my new favorite alcoholic beverage! If you haven't tried it then it's a must! Price The price of PF Chang's is similar to their neighboring resultantes such as Maggiano and Cheesecake Factory ranging from $13-20 a plate and appetizers ranging from $6-10. All great portions and sizes. The flavor is worth the price.
