*Volcano - New Recipe!
Yunior R.

What a shame that all of the other Bento locations are no longer in Jacksonville, but as always, the food here was very good! The menu offers plenty of options and never disappoints. The miso soup is great and only a dollar more when added to a sushi order. The service was also excellent, even though you don't really interact with staff until your food is brought to the table. The restaurant was nice and clean. We'll definitely continue coming back and supporting this location, I'd love to see it stay in business for many, many more years!

Miami roll
Vanessa T.

I havent been into Bento in years, so we were in the area and popped in for a quick bite. You order on electronic tablets then they bring the food to your table. I got the Miami roll and have to say I was so disappointed when it came to the table it looked so boring and definitely not worth the $16 price. There was nothing outstanding about it, it wasn't bad just not what I was expecting. Kids meal was good, and the people working were very sweet. Should have tried something else.

Menu

Bento was really drinks were really good food was fast and who ever was on aux was cooking came in on the morning staff was nice and did really good I had the bento and a wok fried rice and side order of noodles and a lychee fruit tea and were wonderfully made

Cashless order before you sit

The food here is great! The service is friendly. The atmosphere is what you expect for takeout. Cashless though so bring a card.

Curry Katsu Entree

- Drinks 16oz: [Reality] You got a baby cup to sip out of. All drinks come in this small size and for that price, boy.. go to a gas station near by and get a drink from there. - Protein: I've had their Katsu before and you would get a whole piece of chicken that would cover 4/5 of the rice. But apparently if you choose multiple proteins (which costs more) they will remove your original amount of chicken and throw in these tasteless tofu on) so now I'm missing 3/5 of my originally deserved chicken WTF?! - Japanese Curry (DO NOT GET) it's literally just roux from a box just water and roux, no potatoes, carrots, marinated meat chunks nothing. That's a damn injustice calling it Japanese curry. It's just a slurry. + Portion size: that's the only good thing. If and only if they portion the ratio correctly. Because they do come in a decent sized bowl. For that price just ain't worth it, find a small local Japanese location, they'll have some integrity and hook you up.

Pao Pao Mongolian

The food is absolutely amazing and the environment is very welcoming and clean. It's a very underrated.

Thai Tea and strawberry Milk Tea
Brittney B.

Grabbed a bubble tea with my mom while out shopping. The restaurant has outside and inside seating. They also offer a happy hour. We ordered a strawberry milk tea and Thai tea. The staff was sweet explaining the various teas to my mom. FYI they are cashless, so bring another form of payment. The inside was a great escape from the hot sun. Drinks were great! I explored the food options and will have to come back to try them soon.

Hot Lava Roll (10 Pcs)

If you like bento boxes, hibachi, etc then you will like Be to Asian Kitchen and Sushi in Town Center. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It is your standard order at the counter, get a number and they bring it to you. We had the Garlic Broccoli Bento Box and a Noodle Bowl with Mongolian Chicken. We also had a Hot Lava sushi roll. It was more food than we could eat as the portions are large, especially the bowl. I chose low mein noodles it you can get udon if you wish. The food came out hot and was delicious. The sushi was large and delicious. The Hot Lava is covered in warm crab meat which was good but was a little heavy. Overall, this place is delicious and we will become frequent visitors.

Tried YH Dim Sum and it totally hit the spot!…read more Everything we ordered was on point the shrimp rice rolls, sesame chicken, and BBQ pork were all so good. Flavor, texture, portion... no notes. The lychee martinis were a highlight (especially since they were doing BOGO ), and the staff made the whole experience even better super fun and great energy. If you're craving dim sum and a good time, this place is definitely worth the stop.

I love visiting Saint Augustine so I was so excited when I found this dim sum restaurant!…read more Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I was dining by myself. I always order a lot of dishes because I like what I like and I also know I'll have leftovers. I sent back the pan fried taro pudding because it was so bland and it didn't have many of the main ingredients in it. If it were there, it was so skimpy I didn't find any. (The Chinese sausage and dried shrimp) The pain fries soy sauce noodles were overcooked. It's suppose to be pan fried and it was not. Also very skimpy on the black mushrooms. Not very flavorful. The Steamed shrimp dumplings were mediocre. The skin was gummy and fell apart. The shrimp filling wasn't too bad. The shrimp with rice pasta was probably the best dish there. But it was still lacking in flavor. The steamed ribs with black bean sauce was very bland. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The braised chicken feet were over cooked. The texture was horrible like eating mush. The flavors were also off. The egg tarts looked good but the flavors again were off. Borderline going bad. It had that slight aftertaste of sourness. The shell was also flavorless. The BBQ pork buns were also disappointing. The ratio of bread to filling was off. Very small amount. But I was a little happy this happened because the filling didn't taste good at all. The hot tea was also disappointing. I always order jasmine tea when having dim sum. They used a low quality tea bag instead of real loose jasmine tea leaves which also includes the flowers. No fragrance at all of Jasmine tea. Needless to say, I will not be going back on my next visit. It was very expensive for what they give you. Especially since the food was so bad. I gave it two stars because the service was very good and the view was decent. I am Chinese... born in Hong Kong. So I know what dim sum should taste like. I wish I had seen the review that had a photo of the salt and pepper shrimp before I went because I would not have gone. Their salt and pepper shrimp is not authentic and I would have not gone and saved myself $80 for my lunch.

They're at 10586 Old St Augustine Road in Mandarin with a nice size parking lot so their location is great and parking isn't a concern. I'll get to the food in a minute but I'll start by saying that before we opened our fortune cookies at the end, I jokingly said "I hope one of these says 'you will get your original Facebook account back". They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.
