I've always loved PF changs but ever since they created Pei Wei i go there because you get the same type of food for much cheaper but my friend has a coupon for PF changs so we decided to go here for lunch and boy has the menu changed since the last time i had been! They serve sushi now! We had the dragon roll to share which was delicious and so fresh and when i use to come i use to get the Mongolian shrimp , but i didn't see it on the menu so luckily i asked and our waitress said she needs to make a modification on the computer and its an extra charge for it but i was still able to order it. Our appetizer came out immediately, almost like if it had already been made and sitting there thats how fast it came out. The service was great! They have a fantastic and varied menu. The food is delicious and very tasty. We love the noodle dishes and the fish! They provide great value since the portions are generous. Our server was Dana at the Brickell location. Dana was very friendly, and helpful. Her service was fast too. She knows the menu really well and made great recommendations. I got there and was told 20 minute wait time, it ended up being an hour, I asked for a managers assistance and I spoke to a guy named Kenny, he was insanely rude and you can tell he's terrible with customer service. Probably the kind of guy to just sit back and let everyone else do the work for him all day. Then I found out he's the general manager. This place has lost everything they had going for them. 11 minutes before i even got my drink order in. Sat down at 9:01pm and server came by at 9:12 just to ask if we wanted something to drink. We ordered the Lettuce wraps and there were more mushrooms than anything else and whole not even in pieces as it should come. We ordered the food right when server came to our table at 9:12pm and food came at 10:01pm. The Chicken Fried Rice tasted like if it was old reheated food, the honey chicken was undercooked and in big lumps, the Mongolian Beef was horrible and tasted weird. We used to come every weekend to eat here and the last few months have been horrible. This will be the last time i will be dining at this PF Changs. I've been a fan of P.F Chang's for a couple of years now, so its gotten to the point that I have my dish picked out even before walking into the restaurant. Yesterday they broke my heart when they told me they had discontinued my favorite dish, their Dan Dan Noodles. This time around, I was forced to explore other menu items. We ordered their Chicken Pad Thai, Honey Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. The portions are pretty big, so you can order a couple of plates and share amongst friends. I am so sad to tell y'all about my experience here because I always put PF Chang's amongst my favorite restaurants but the food I tried yesterday was awful. Their Chicken Pad Thai was cooked with so much fish oil that it was all I could taste. I did not order the CHICKEN Pad Thai, to get a fishy taste. I was very disgusted. The Kung Pao Chicken was burnt to a crisp but at least the Honey Chicken was edible. On the bright side, our waiter was attentive and sweet. And we had the Banana Spring Rolls, which was super yummy-- it comes with a pineapple coconut ice cream (or something like that) that was delicious. Very disappointing Mother's Day dinner! They are very disorganized and rude We placed order online and were waiting 3 hours to go pick up at curbside, my husband wanted to please me and he agreed to the 3 hour wait, I figured since it's Mother's Day it was very busy and we were ok with that, but when he got there they weren't telling anyone where to go or what to do! My girlfriend and I have been here a few times, but this time we had such a great experience. We sat at the bar to eat while we enjoyed some delicious cold lemonades. Our server Rainier was outstanding and very accommodating and a true master behind the bar. As always our meals were so savory and large portions. My husband I and went for dinner. As we were eating we hear a loud scream. The family across from us had a RAT run under their table. When they alerted the staff, they used a food container to trap the RAT! We mentioned to our waitress that we had lost our appetite. I feel like P.F. Chang's is just one of those places you go to because it's never really disappointing and for us, it's just been a reliable place over the years. I made reservations because I don't like waiting and especially on a Saturday night. Initially my reservations were for 6:45pm but due to some unforeseen traffic - there was no way we'd make it on time. I gave them a call and there was no problem with us being a little late. We arrived and of course it was packed. Which was expected. I heard the host quoting wait times of about 45 minutes to an hour, so I was so happy we made reservations. We waited about 10 minutes before being seated. Unfortunately, we were seated in a dark area so I didn't get to take any good pictures For our appetizers, we ordered the Lettuce Wraps and the Dynamite Shrimp. Both were amazing but the shrimp was probably the best part of our entire meal. You have to try the shrimp. Our entrees were the Mongolian Beef and also the Surf & Turf. Both were great. But I really enjoyed the shrimp and steak combo of the Surf & Turf. The shrimp was seasoned great and the steak was very tender. Loved it. For dessert, we had the Banana Spring Rolls. I am not really a fan of bananas, but this was actually surprisingly good. It's paired with the coconut ice cream, which was amazing. Overall, the service was good and the food was good too. I've always been a fan of PF Chang's so I'm not surprised when the food was excellent during the visit to this location on 5/3. The service however was noteworthy. In the past two years I've sensed a decline in service around the globe at most restaurants but this week we were exceptionally well cared for at lunch by the staff at PF Chang. Timely delivery of appetizers, meals, drink refills, and even the check were all received. And Ellie at the front was exceptionally helpful, friendly and informative in seating us in a comfortable location and allowing us time to consider options while waiting for our party to complete. I was terribly disappointed and would actually prefer to give zero stars but this wasn't an option. I chose P.F. Chang's upon finding a list of Vegan options on PETA's website. According to our waiter they could not cater to the recommended choices that I mentioned when ordering. He informed us that we only had two options on the menu. I decided to order one of the two dishes he suggested. Instead of the delicious dish on the menu I received a dish of steamed tofu and veggie minus any flavoring or sauce, and it gets worse, the soy sauce was served in packets!!! We decided that we would have dinner at the bar and I ordered a coconut lemon drop which was light and very tasteful (had two of them). Claudia was our server and was very nice and attentive she helped me on what rolls taste good and which were the most popular dishes. My friend had ordered the tuna tartar roll with some vegetable spring rolls. Another dish that was ordered was the mongolian shrimp the flavors were exquisite with there green onions yummmmyyyyy. Sitting at the bar had its advantages because our food didn't take as long as others say in there previous reviews. For a chain restaurant it makes decent Chinese food. Located in The Falls mall. This location has plenty of parking. I usually start off with the pan fried pork dumplings. They are first steamed and then pan fried. Then I get the Mongolian beef. It's strips of steak marinated and cooked to perfection with green onions. Also the honey garlic chicken or shrimp. Lightly breaded and fried to golden brown and covered with delicious honey sauce. I also like the combo fried rice. That's made from pork, chicken, and shrimp with vegetables. I never had any issue's with food or service. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a full stocked bars with several stools to enjoy a drink or have a meal. PF Chang's lunch bowls and cheesecake!!!! This is the winning lunch combination! The restaurant is always crowded which means people like it and it might take a while to be seated and get your check. Food on the other hand seem to arrive quickly. The menu seems good but to tell you the truth I stick to the lunch bowls: pepper steak, honey chicken, cashew chicken, ... you get a soup as entrée for the same price. Those two items only cost under 10 dollars so take a 2 dollars dessert (verrine of strawberry cheesecake, apple pie, tiramisu, chocolate cake, ...) and you are all set for a great afternoon!
