The experience at this location restored my faith in this chain. Took our daughter and friends here for part of her birthday celebration. We sat separately from the kids but they were able to do the checks together. My husband and I had the Singapore street noodles and Mongolian beef, great combo and reminded me why we pay $26 a plate to eat at this chain. Very good! Server was a pro and others seemed to rely on her. She overheard birthday and brought a giant slice of cake for our daughter. It's truly a shame this used to be one of my favorite restaurants eat there weekly, it was always a wait place was packed. The food was excellent. That is not the case anymore. All my favorite items, salt and pepper calamari, Kung pow, scallops, etc. have been removed from the menu, it's amazing. I'm glad I made a reservation, got there earlier than my time they sat us earlier. It was a full house. They took awhile to take our drink order. The lettuce wraps took awhile to come. The food came was delicious as always , the softest orange chicken ever. It was cold in there, maybe around 50 degrees. But the food stayed warm. Our server was ok, she kept forgetting things. Refills, soy sauce. The most disappointing was the "chopsticks " they replaced the enameled chopsticks with disposable wood. I will be back, next time with a sweater. read more

3.5/5 I've done a few Uber Eats deliveries from this location and was impressed with the service and presentation of the food, so I decided to check it out for lunch today. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by the hostess and seated to a table. Soon after, Alberto came over and took my drink and food orders. I started with the pork egg rolls, which were fantastic. They were huge, loaded with flavor and the sweet and sour mustard sauce that came with it really gave it a kick. For the main course, I ordered the Crispy Honey Shrimp and Signature Lo Mein noodles with chicken. Everything came out in a timely manner and the portions were quite large, even for a big guy like myself (ordered from the dinner menu). Between the two dishes, I was most impressed with the Crispy Honey Shrimp. This dish also came with some white rice and they tasted great together. The noodles were good, however the dish was almost cold in temperature (minus one star). Alberto and the other staff were attentive and very nice. Drink refills were well provided and my leftovers were packaged right at the table, however I'm saddened to report that the shrimp lost its crispness being reheated in the microwave for barely 2 minutes (minus 1/2 star) and got quite mushy. Ordered food from P.F.Changs 10/13/24 at 6.30 pm using Uber Eats items 1. Chang's Spicy Chicken & Kung Pao Beef. It was the worst food ever tasted so bad both items were fried with heaps of oil and awful tasting batter and the chicken & beef both tasted stale, rubbery & disgusting. I informed Uber Eats but of course they are unable to refund the money or send me replacement food. Supposedly P.F Chang's have to be the ones to do that. The only thing that was okay about my order was the rice it came with. The menu did not say anything about these items being fried and it was so bad that I am still having that awful taste stuck in my throat and having the need to be sick. I don't drive or else I would take it back and have them taste it. So sadly I paid almost $69 for food that could not be eaten. I went here on Saturday and the food was delicious!! I ordered Vegetable Lo Mein, Ma Po Tofu, and Chocolate Lava Cake. All delicious!! I asked for the Ma Po Tofu to be made crispy, according to the server it comes out soft, which I don't like for tofu. I like mine crispy. It came out exactly how I like it. It comes brown or white rice. The chocolate lava cake has milk chocolate ganache inside of it and it's served hot with two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream. Definitely try it!! read more

Decided to have lunch at the PF Chang's at The River in Rancho Mirage. The food was very good, and we had the 3-course prix fixe menu. The lettuce wraps were great, as was the hot and sour soup. I had the veggie fried rice, which was quite good with fresh crunchy vegetables, and it was not greasy or oily. Our Server, Susan, was excellent and truly understands the concept of providing exceptional customer service. Susan was attentive, pleasant and made sure that we were enjoying our food, and also made certain that our drinks were never empty. Overall, this was a great dining experience. If the food wasn't so was good I would have given this place 1 star. I had the chicken lettuce wraps and shrimp in lobster sauce with brown rice, both of which are labeled as gluten-free but for whatever reason when we clarified it with the server he said it was not gluten-free unless we requested it when ordering. He had already put the order in for the chicken lettuce wraps so we asked if he could change it to gluten-free but he seemed reluctant even after explaining how highly intolerant I am to gluten. He said he would check. A long while later he came back with drinks and randomly mentioned that they were out of gluten-free soy sauce. I never caught on as to why he told me so I figured I would just have to do without on my rice. My husband had the honey crispy chicken. After dinner we shared the GF chocolate soufflé. It was really good but there was a large disc of ice in the ice cream and it made me think of freezer burn. Anyway, I did like that they offered many gluten-free options but to run out of gluten-free soy sauce on a Friday night was ridiculous. As it turns out, we realized that they served the chicken lettuce wraps with regular soy sauce because I had a reaction later that evening. If I had a more serious condition like celiac disease I would have been extremely sick. The server (Manuel) was not very sensitive to my needs nor did he exercise caution to ensure that I would not be exposed to gluten. That is a problem. We hadn't been here for more than five years and I will say that the entire atmosphere has changed dramatically. It used to be more of a family crowd as well as middle age to older but the restaurant was full of loud millennials and bartenders. Although the food was good, minus my gluten laden appetizer, the service was very slow and lacking the professional attention that I would have expected from a restaurant like PFC. The servers looked unhappy and were non-attentive and never showed any team effort. I work in customer service and this was a poorly managed operation. We were also seated next to the bar which had zero customers sitting at it, and yet all of the bartenders were obnoxious and loud. Lots of menu changes in the last 24 months. No longer have tangerine hot tea or other flavors of hot tea. My wife's favorite, honey walnut shrimp with melon balls is no longer on menu. I had spicy chicken on fried rice. Ok dish. Wife had honey crispy shrimp which was ok but not as nice as the honey walnut dish. Mango ice tea was sparse on the mango. I placed an online order tonight and when I picked up my order I told the host I had a child with autism and this was our first time eating out at a restaurant and I wanted to eat on the patio since there was only one other family there. This would be a good time to try it out. The host seated us outside and we asked that someone come clean the table as it was previously dined at. After about 5 mins or so, I cleaned the table myself with the napkin that was there and placed the dishes on another table. No one ever came, we unpacked our order and ate there at the table on the patio and no one ever even came to see if we needed water or if all was ok. I tried to call a waiter over that assisted the other family but he didn't hear me or ignored me (but I'd rather believe it wasn't the latter of the 2). PF Chang's is my favorite restaurant and I eat there at least 3-4 times a year, and honestly I'm appalled at my experience tonight.
