Food was alright. Saucy enough. Service was HORRIBLE. I went to P.F. Chang's with my coworkers before our shift to work on 4/29 because we were soo hungry from getting off early that morning. Once we got in there, there were 5 staff sitting and standing at the door staring at us, making us uncomfortable. Then we went to go sit down and we're preparing to order our food. Once we were ready to order, the waitress came up to us and took our order on a NAPKIN. She took both of my coworkers orders and walked away to the back without letting me order. My male coworker walked to the kitchen and asked for our server to come back. She came back and I told her I didn't get to order yet so she gave me this dirty look and wrote my order on a new napkin. Then she walked away to put in our order into the computer and as I watched her, she crumbled the napkins and threw them in the trash. I then told my coworkers so we asked her if we can get our food to go instead of dining in. She left, and never came back. 25 minutes go by and a different waitress comes up to us telling us our food will be served at a different spot and that she'll help us instead mind you, there was only 3 other groups of people there so it wasn't busy at all. We were out driving around yesterday on our weekend getaway and needed to eat. We were thinking Chinese food sounded good so when we passed by we decided to stop by hoping they had outside dining. They did! Going inside wearing mask we were taken out to the patio to be seated. Patio is very nice, shaded with fans and misters. This made the heat tolerable. And 2020 it is what it is and you roll with the punches. On our receipt it says our server's name was Charley, so I hope that's right-between him and another server that was helping us as well-these guys were so friendly, so attentive and helpful with drink and food choices. I know they had smiles on their faces under those mask. Aside from the great food, I would definitely stop here again based on service. Food was excellent as well. Freshly prepared, came out hot. We had the dynamite shrimp appetizer, honey chicken, Mongolian beef and egg rolls. It all was delicious and thinking about it now is making my mouth water. Drinks-had to have cocktails on Sunday Funday. I opted for the Stoli Blueberry soda but my partner in crime ordered this awesome looking drink. Spiked Peach Boba Breeze-it looked super fun and I should of ordered one too! next time. As far as Covid precautions-mask are necessary until you get to your table, paperless menus that you can scan into your phone using a QR reader, they are cleaning tables and throughly wiping down, it looked like servers brought out food and another person picked up plates and cleaned tables. Paying can be touch less too if you scan the receipt on your phone where you can either use a saved credit card that you may have on your phone or you could enter your card info if it's not saved. Last week we placed a take home order in Rancho Mirage that they got wrong and we didn't notice until we got home. We called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Elizabeth. She was not only apologetic, but offered several options to make things right. That makes such a difference in the way we feel, as customers. I know it's Covid-19 time and everything is down but I ordered food from here for Mother's Day and wow they blew it. If you're understaffed then don't take so many orders. You had people waiting on orders for over two hours- you don't make hungry people wait. If it's an issue then a manager needs to address it and no one was around. I waited for two hours before I gave up. Never even got my food. I can hear all the excuses in the world but.... If you're going to be open and accept orders, be prepared as if it's a normal day and plan as such. You can't expect people to be happy when service is lacking. It's funny, they are "closed" but they had the restaurant packed with people for take out orders and the bar going. It makes no sense, y'all need a better form of leadership when days are packed. Two lines to each side of the bar, two people addressing each order and the bartender should be checking people out all to go orders. Two people expediting they food orders to address each ticket and the rest of the staff helping with crowd control and keeping people calm. We have dined many times in the last ten years always ordering our favorites, Salt and Pepper Shrimp and Mongolian Beef. This year was a major disappointment. The Beef dish was a very small offering and the beef was overcooked and tough. They have apparently changed the recipe for Salt and Pepper Shrimp, it was greasy and not the same crispy and salty that we have had many times before. The Great Wall of Chocolate was dry. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and has spacious seating with cozy booths along the wall. We were promptly greeted and seated. The waitstaff was polite, friendly, and helpful. We ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and a Sapporo Lager, along with steamed edamame as an appetizer. For our main entrees, we chose the Sweet & Sour Chicken and the Crispy Honey Shrimp with steamed white rice. The portions were generous and served hot. My only suggestion is that the chicken and shrimp could have been cut into smaller pieces. Overall, the dinner was very pleasant and delicious. We plan to return soon. read more

PF Chang's, what has happened to you? I used to enjoy your food but last night the meal was inedible. I ordered green beans, lo mein with chicken and chicken lettuce wraps. EVERYTHING was greasy and way too salty. The chicken in the Lo Mein was hard and cold. It seemed like it was cooked last week and pulled out of the fridge. The green beans were so salty it couldn't be eaten. Even the chicken lettuce wraps fell short. Two usable lettuce leaves and a very small portion. Let me start buy saying for what we paid this food was no better than Panda Express. I am not impressed the honey chicken had so much dough it was tough to eat. We did an Uber eats on Friday since I have a cold and don't want to leave the hotel and the food was not good. Also they forgot the rice for the $17 honey chicken. They gave us 6 chop sticks but no fork or spoons for soup. They also didn't give us any napkins here I am in a hotel using baby wipes to wipe the grease from my hands from the lettuce wraps. I wish I checked yelp before I ordered. This was a terrible way to start our vacation so sad that We had a lame dinner. The kids noodles was so lame no flavor even my daughter who loves noddles didn't like it. Don't come here they need to address issues with service and food quality.
