Let me start buy saying for what we paid this food was no better than Panda Express. I am not impressed the honey chicken had so much dough it was tough to eat. We did an Uber eats on Friday since I have a cold and don't want to leave the hotel and the food was not good. Also they forgot the rice for the $17 honey chicken. They gave us 6 chop sticks but no fork or spoons for soup. They also didn't give us any napkins here I am in a hotel using baby wipes to wipe the grease from my hands from the lettuce wraps. I wish I checked yelp before I ordered. This was a terrible way to start our vacation so sad that We had a lame dinner. The kids noodles was so lame no flavor even my daughter who loves noddles didn't like it. Don't come here they need to address issues with service and food quality. The ice cream was good they put it on ice so it was delish. Other than that it was all bad I haven't ate at a P.F. Chang's in almost 15 years now I know why lol. read more

I usually don't leave reviews for chain restaurants as I feel they are usually overlooked but this location is such a miss due to its service I need to make a comment so others won't waste their time. As a whole I really do like PF Changs. The food is delicious, great cocktail selection, and depending on the day/time they do have good specials (awful lunch time pricing on the weekends though). BUT this location has failed me time and time again with their service. I'll stick with PF Changs in Pasadena & Thousand Oaks. This review is strictly about SERVICE and a little about price points..... I have to chime in with the other reviews. Service was horrible! Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday the place had only 10 tables filled at best, and this is a large restaurant. Our waitress initially started off well but once her "large party" came everything was down hill. I believe once you start service on a table you should finish through OR have another server take over if your really going to give the large party your full attention, I get she saw $$$ when she knew she'd get a large tip hopefully from the birthday party crowd but hey what about us? Our waitress left us sitting there halfway through our meal with MULTIPLE empty cups, dirty side dishes, and it was impossible to spend more money as I couldn't even get her attend for more rice and cocktails. Thank goodness for the one lady I got ahold of to get us refills, I even told her as politely as I could "hi we haven't seen our waitress in a long time and we really need refills" the waitress was attentive to get what we needed, if I was her I would have told the other waitress "hey get it together your other table is complaining they haven't seen you through the whole meal" but NO. She never acknowledged or potentially knew this to come correct her errors and help us. Even getting the check to leave was a hassle. No acknowledgement from our server that she had been missing the last 20 mins of our dining. Time and time again the service has let me down here so I had to make note. Idk if overall this location doesn't value its customers or if it's a bad few in the bunch that makes everyone look bad but then that's managements job to let them go so the other good servers don't lose business and customers that help them stay afloat. Won't be back to this location. Side note: weekend lunch for 2 shouldn't be $50 all to add salt to the wound that the service was awful. Aside from service probably the reason your empty is because every local Chinese restaurants (including the finer dining Chinese establishments) having weekend lunch specials ranging from $10-15 a person, I get this is a corporate thing but might want to take note to get more people in the door. read more

We visit PF Changs restaurants for over 14 years in different location, as we always liked their menu and felt the prices were fair considering their food quality. We have not been at PF Changs for a few months. We ordered our usual, 2 appetizers, and one shared main course with rice.. all added to $70- including tip. I am aware there is inflation, but as residents of Rancho Mirage, we can find a competitive price menu with better variety, including desert.. just saying. read more

No drink refills, no check back after our food was served, no pre-bussing our table. We could see our server the entire time in the back of the restaurant talking and laughing with another server. No manager present. Left 1/2 the normal tip for far less than 1/2 the service we received. Hate this place now! To the person packing to go orders YOU SUCK! Picked up a large to go order yesterday and was treated so rudely by the guy who have it to me. I will never spend a dime in this place again. Good food but they need to double check the floors below the table.. I feel like that should be expected. Huge pile of vomit on the floor and seat. I'm not sure how the person setting the table missed that. We were seated somewhere else but we should've received some sort of discount because seeing something like that before dinner wasn't very pleasing to the stomach. I called to confirm reservation and was told that the restaurant policy is not to take larger reservations between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. I asked to speak to the manager. A woman by the name of Rosa said she was the manager. I was told that rules can not be broken. I asked for her manager I was told her name is Jill and she is in the corporate office. I rarely if ever give a place a one-star review. However, Saturday evening 3/30/19 was the WORST dining experience I've had. Frankly, we should have left. 1) It took 20 minutes of sitting at our table with no water, utensils or waiter checking in with us before I went to the host to ask for someone to come check on us. 2) It still took an additional 10 minutes before someone came out to check on us when my friend went in to demand a manager. Once someone came they didn't ask for any of our orders they just dropped waters and left. (Still no utensils.) 3) The manager comes out and takes our order and asked if we'd like our appetizers first. Naturally, yes we did. They brought our appetizers but we still didn't have utensils and surprise, surprise the food was cold. 4) This is honestly where I had my mind blown. I am a vegan and I had ordered from their vegetarian menu a the Thai Harvest Vegetable Curry. Once it was brought out I quickly noticed it was chock full of Chicken. I ask about it and the waiter questions my sanity and if I had actually ordered a different curry... which I most certainly had not. The manager (who mind you took our order) came out to find out what was wrong and he has the audacity to tell us. "Oh, I added chicken to the curry for you." WHAT ON EARTH?!?! Why on god's green earth would you add something to someone's order that the did not request when they ordered a vegan/vegetarian entree? That's the equivalent of adding tequila to someone's lemonade and they are sober! This is totally unacceptable. There as no apology nor any attempt to make it right. Having gone to a presentation and my meal was gratis, it was ok. I had sweet and sour chicken it was ok, but I've had far better. There wasn't much sauce in the dish. I had to add much more soy sauce to take care of the dry rice. The jury is out as far as would I come back on MY dime. I don't think so $15 for LUNCH? Worse service ever. Slow bartender and manager . Obvious both of them are on the same wave length hanging out with the same people. The slow crowd . Got the ma po and eggplant To go but decided to eat on the patio once I realized we could eat there (since with COVID lots of places are to go only). They didn't plate our food and the to go bag portions were super small. We complained to manager but he said all portions are the same (no way not even close). Then it took soo long to get our check. Most importantly, our baby's broccoli was so tough even though it was sent again they brought It hard again. We spent way too much time and money there for mediocre food. Love PF Changs but this one is such a disappointment, food is excelellent service is awful. We came here on the 20th for a surprise retirement dinner for my husband. It was just our family of 11 and reservations made 2 weeks agead of time. When we arrived and they had sat us down with a huge pillar between us. Decided to try again, made reservations for my husband and myself (drove 1 1/2 hr. To get here) Hostess named Anna very rude from the get go, she sat us outside by front door instead of patio area. She then sat down 2 different parties without reservations in patio area. My husband then voiced his opinion about how we were treated. Immediately the manager Elizabeth came out to us and apologized of how we were treated and had a table readied for us inside patio. Elizabeth was wonderful and differently knows her job well and put her guest first. read more

First time ever eating at a PF Chang's. Came at around 6pm and was seated quickly. Our server was Brenda (a new trainee) and she did great! So props to her. I kept seeing her run around, but she made sure to always check in on our table. Appetizers: *Deep fried green beans - these were so good! It was fried in tempura batter, which gave them the perfect little crunch. It was served with a side of spicy mayo, which complemented the green beans very well. *Edemame - the beans themselves had a good texture. But you can tell they were over cooked. The outer part kept falling apart layer by layer. And we kept having to pick out the inedible parts from our mouths. *California roll - your average cali rolls. Except the rice seemed a bit undercooked. They weren't compacted very well, and each piece just fell apart while dipping into soy sauce. Won't be reordering these. Main dishes: *Chang's spicy chicken - wasn't at all spicy. Basically a sweet and sour chicken, which they also have on the menu. We almost thought they gave us the wrong order. But nope, it was correct. While it tasted good, I was disappointed at the lack of ANY spice. *Crispy honey shrimp - my least favorite... I tasted no honey, and a TON of ginger. It wasn't pleasant. Might be good if you enjoy ginger flavored shrimp, but I'm not. I hate ginger... and all I could taste was the ginger and couldn't taste any shrimp because it was so overpowering. Blech. *Combo low mein - good, not great! The noodles were perfectly cooked, but the meats were so salty. I tried a piece of each without the noodles, and got a mouth full of salt it seemed like. But if you ate each piece with a huge bite of noodles, it was palatable. This is just an average restaurant chain. Over priced, americanized Chinese cuisine. This place probably won't come to mind the next time someone asks me where I want to eat. But, if someone else invites me to have lunch or dinner here, I would still come. read more

The service was Great! Some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere, the drinks, the decorations, the views, everything was awesome, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. I was excited for my first time here. My friends chose P.F. Chang's for celebrating their upcoming birthdays. We had the chicken lettuce wraps and edamame for appetizers. I had the Poke Bowl, and absolutely loved that they included mango and lots of avocado, and the chips were delicious. They included some seaweed salad, too. Everyone enjoyed their food and for dessert, one of the celebrants has the butterscotch pudding and we shared the triple chocolate cake. My Wife was in the area for business and all the Restaurants in the Mall were really busy ( 1 hour + wait time ) because of Saturday night NFL playoffs. So we decided to check out PF Changs, I asked the Hostess, Chrystal, for the least wait time and it was 15 mins. She was very professional, and calm during a very busy rush of customers. She noticed we were waiting patiently for our buzzer and asked us if we wanted the next available table, and seated us on a nice 2 table inside the restaurant. She joked when I gave her our buzzer, nice sense of humor! Out waiter Christian, was awesome, he was really busy and had the time to chat and deal with our picky food choices. We really enjoyed our dining experience, will be back next time we are in town! Been at Chang's all over the country., and this one was the worst. Food was terrible and cold when delivered. Appetizers came after the main dishes and also coldand had been sitting 4 a while. No apologies, server never checked on us until we finished eating due 2 sheer hunger!!! Was a Monday night so busy But not crazy busy. Then at the end she walked by dropped the check that was $99+ dollars, still no apologies, Fully charged 4 our terrible food. Put down our credit card and when she returned our credit slip mysteriously said $118+ dollars+tip= total. Asked server about it, never said a word just took it walked away adjusted it 2 the correct amount and dropped it on table as walking by. Still not a word. Used to be ready good until all of the good items were deleted off the menu and the quality of food was drastically reduced. What happened to PF. 10 years ago (maybe 20) it was a nice place to eat with good food. Now it's all pre prepared and lifeless. We looked forward to visiting today after 8 years in the mountains and no PF Changs. Our table was near the exit, cold and in an area obviously scheduled for renovation. Few tables and booths were occupied when we were seated and I have no idea why we were where we were! Overall, we enjoyed our lunch - the shrimp dumplings weren't cold, but barely warm. ( My husband and I shared my salad and left hungry. ) At the end, my 8 year old had eaten all his lo main noodles and wanted more. It was a very sparse serving and for him to eat it all, it couldn't have been much. They wouldn't bring him more, unless I wanted to pay for another entire order. I had been craving Chang's for months and we finally made it in to this location last week - for lunch with my Mom who was visiting. We all love PF Chang's. We ordered from the lunch menu - but started with the fried green beans which have long been one of our favorite indulgences. These were not up to the usual snuff - very greasy and the batter was inconsistently applied. I had the broccoli beef bowl with brown rice, and the beef and the broccoli were very good, but the brown rice was made up of mostly the little black pieces that you are not supposed to eat, so I didn't eat the rice. Mom had the orange chicken bowl with white rice and she liked hers very much. My husband ordered the Chang's spicy chicken lunch bowl with the fried rice option. They brought him an entree sized portion of the chicken (and charged us for it) and a small bowl of fried rice. The fried rice was just barely fried rice - most of it was white and flavorless. The service was very friendly and attentive, but our server couldn't answer my husband's question regarding the difference between the spicy chicken and kung pao chicken, and didn't want to ask someone who knew. I hope she was new. She also brought my husband his green tea pot without a cup from which to drink it. It took her a bit, but she eventually brought the cup. I think this visit cured my hankering for Chang's for a good while. read more

Not sure how one can ever go wrong with P.F. Chang's. We normally avoid chair restaurants but we know this place and Cheesecake Factory are consistently good. Tis meal didn't disappoint. We had: Garlic noodles (off menu but they'll do it anyway) Kung Pao Shrimp (tons of peanuts!) Mongolian Beef (this is like CRACK) Stir fried green beans Lettuce Cups (delicious filling but the lettuce was hideous and inedible) It wasn't very crowded (we went late afternoon), so we were seated quickly. The lettuce wraps were as usual at any PF Changs, the calamari could have been crispier but was tasty and the wontons I ordered crispy but were mushy. The interior is very tired looking, the server was good. The real drawback was the loud staff standing around talking in very loud voices which was very disruptive. We won't be going back to this Palm Desert location. read more
