Pedestrian food in an upscale restaurant. Party of six but I parked the car so came in a few minutes late. The Host and Hostess at the entrance, who were not busy, couldn't be bothered to show me my group's table. They just pointed me towards the back of the dark restaurant. The best of the food was the appetizers. They actually had unique flavors and were good portions. We had Crab Wontons, Northern Style Spare ribs (dry rub style) and Chicken Lettuce wrap. All were winners at our table. However the family style entrees left a lot to be desired. The Pad Thai was unlike any I have ever had. It seemed like a prep bowl for the cook that should have been stir-fried in a wok with sauces. There was no sauce in our serving. I asked our waiter - he said it wasn't a mistake. "That's what you ordered." The Honey Chicken had tender breaded chunks of chicken but absolutely no flavor. The Lo-Mein beef had overcooked and tasteless meat. The lo-mein noodles were equally bland. I was very surprised how there was no unique flovors to each dish. Panda Express does more with flavor. The atmosphere was nice enough, the restaurant was more than half-empty at dinner time. This was when the rest of the outdoor mall we were at was crazy with people. It's been a while since we came here. It will probably be a while before we come back. We went to here on a Sunday. We were a group of 5. We ordered Dynamite shrimp, dynamite roll, chicken lettuce wraps, shrimp dumplings and spring rolls for the appetizer and for the entree we did fried rice, Singapore noodles and Mongolian beef. We had a good experience, but I think there was only one waitress serving. The other workers were prepping tables and lighting incense. We noticed incense being burned a few times during our visit, which doesn't bother us but just a forewarning for others who may have allergies. It was a separated lady who refilled our beverages, not the actually server. It was just super slow for everything, including getting our check. We weren't in a rush thankfully. The food was good. We ordered the California roll, kids honey chicken with an order of rice, orange chicken and rice and a sweet tea. Visited on a Saturday night. The host stand was curt and not helpful. We were told 10 minutes but waited 30, and we ultimately spotted an open table ourselves while returning from the restroom. After being seated, our food took about 40 minutes to arrive. Many other guests appeared frustrated by delays as well. Overall, a disappointing experience, certainly not worth three or four stars. To say this chain has gone downhill over the years is an understatement. Years ago when P.F. Chang's first came on the scene in Dallas at Northpark Mall the food was great and very consistent. However, over the years, the quality of the food has taken a big dive and our recent visit to the newish location in the Grandscape drove that point home. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Next the server when I asked for a drink menu or alcohol menu did not even know that they served vodka on a full bar and when requested needed to get the bartender. Birthday dinner for my 15 year old son. Excellent service from our waiter, Ian, and a free piece of birthday cake. The meal was good for a large chain. I don't know when it happened but PF Changs has turned into nothing more than a Chili's type restaurant. Tonight was such a disappointment. Started with a Martini for me and a martini for my wife. They were served is a glass that may have only held 1.5 ounces and the glass was probably only 2/3s full. We ordered the crab wontons and they were OK. Not great like they once were. I ordered Changs Spicy Chicken and I struggled to taste the flavor. My wife ordered the Braised Short Rib. That was one of the worst dishes I have tasted in a long time. First and foremost, Sean the bartender was great. Attentive and helpful. Food was ok, not great for the price you pay. But overall, I enjoyed it. My biggest issue was with management and servers. I'm in the industry myself. I saw servers all hanging out at the end of the bar...one loudly announcing to his coworker "welcome back to hell." That same server...hair over his eyes, very young (reminded me of the kid from Stranger Things) was told he was getting sat. Within ear shot of the party, and patrons, he refused (I'm assuming because of the young kids). The overall unprofessionalism should be kept out of earshot of guests... The manager, blonde haired young girl, didn't move once from the end of the bar with her Chic Fil-A cup in the 2 hours I was dining. Where to start! We are very simple people. We just went to the bar for drinks and food. We were offered everyone around us their food. The people at the end of the bar sit down after us and were served before us. Our food was good and the manager was very nice and discounted our ticket however we didn't find out about the staffing issues til the end of the dinner. Although the bartenders were very nice and tried their best to keep up they simply needed support. Either a couple of bar backs or something. I remember when you would eat at P.F. Chang's it was absolutely delicious whether it was delivery or dine in. I just got a delivery order and the only thing they got correct was the address. Came for lunch during the 4th of July holiday. The food was good. Came out promptly and hot. Our server, Eva, was friendly and attentive.

Not sure why this place has such a low review. The bartenders were kind, the manager was kind and we had a really good experience sitting at the bar. Oh my my my, visited PF Chang's and I have to say, the 'P' and 'F' probably stand for 'Pale Flavor.' The food was bland, and nothing had that rich, bold taste I expect from Chinese cuisine. If you're craving real Chinese food, this is not the place to satisfy your appetite and especially not at this price point. I don't know who's pallette they are trying to please but it was all terrible. Egg drop soup didn't have that similar Chinese restaurant flavor or consistency. The fried egg noodles were fine. There was no honey flavor in the honey chicken. The dumpling appetizer were fine but not worth the $3 upcharge to consider it "premium" when you're doing the 19.99 special. The sesame chicken was bland. The eggrolls came with the worst sauce that had a horseradish tang to it. We came by on Monday night and was seated right away. It was averagely clean and the atmosphere was bright. The lettuce wrap was really delicious--we asked for extra lettuce to finish up those scrumptious bites. The sauce was vinegary and it really brightened up each bite. We almost did not visit after reading many of the negative reviews. Decided to give it a chance and made a reservation online at their web site (highly recommended). Everything was really great. The food, the service and the atmosphere was very professional and about at good as it gets. The quality of the food, portion sizes and presentation are way above any of the Chinese or Asian Fusion restaurants we have visited. If you have not visited GrandScape, this is an upscale Theme Park with shopping, the great Mario Andretti giant go-cart, bowling, put put golf, laser tag and huge electronic Game Center and much more to take in. And they are adding more in 2022. So, go and enjoy. read more

On a freeezing Sunday afternoon my husband and I ran into PF Chang's while exploring Grandscape. The restaurant was packed and bustling. Understandably it took awhile for someone to come and seat us. The service was a little slow also but again busy Sunday before a big Cowboys game. While my husband wasn't too fond of the service we thought the food was delicious. The short ribs came out literally smoking. The orange chicken and fried rice was yummy. My husband enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken but really liked the spicy sauce that came with the spicy tuna sushi. Wait staff couldn't care less about how long you wait, wine was not a normal amount, clearly dusting is not a priority, and the food was average at best. The waitress took our drink order and my husband ordered an appetizer to start. it was over 40min after the appetizer arrived before she ever returned to get our order. It was Saturday around 2-2:30p, so it was not busy. She even grabbed a bite with coworkers for a few min without even glancing our way. This dining experience was aweful! We arrived at 4 pm on a Saturday with the place almost empty and were told it would be a 20 to 25 minute wait, but we could sit at the bar now... so we did. We sat there for about 8 minutes before the server came over and gave us one menu and a drink menu. When asked for a second menu, since we were both going to order, the dirty look she gave us almost made us get up and walk out! We stayed however because we were starving.... Anyway, we order the Prawns and orange chicken. Both were good size portions, but what I received were not prawns. They were the medium to small size. They were also way over salted. The part that was really annoying was the fried rice. I paid $4.50 extra for a small plastic bowl that was half full and barely had any egg or veggies in it. The rice was also uncooked and was hard and crunchy. But wait... right before we left my experience in the restroom was horrific. There was a dead field roach belly up in the corner and dried menstral blood that had been dripped down the wall... yuck! Both of which looked like they had been there for quite some time. We will NEVER go back to this location and I am done with this chain because this seems to be the standard now. I used to love them 15 years ago but not sure what happened and this is the worst experience and last one in my book! Oh one final thing... the manager walked by us at least 3 times and never spoke to us about our experience. He did however er stand at the back of the bar and flirt with the female wait staff.... it was disgusting to see an old man do that to 21 or 22 year old women! And the same male waiter almost ran me over on my way both in and out of the restroom because the server station was in an odd location and the walkway getting there was very narrow.
