The food was great for the most part and the service was fantastic! This seemed to be a more hip or modern version of one of my favorite restaurants. They did a great job with the social distancing and the bartender was great. As their menu has changed over the years some I've my favorites have gone away and I've had to adapt. One of the best dishes there is usually the bulgogi and while it looked great on the outside it was so well done that no amount of sauce was going to fix it. The dish was replaced but I have a habit of not eating when my companion can't eat with me so mine was a bit cold by the time the food was replaced. I think we will stick to our usual one from now on as we don't have these problems. read more

The restaurant was easily less then half capacity. We were told that it was was 45-60min wait because we didn't have a reservation. We joined the waitlist regardless knowing there were other food options. Walked in to a neighboring restaurant and sat right down. We got the message that our PF Chang's table was ready shortly after we sat down at the other place. Good things come to those who wait? Or maybe they just want to rely on reservations? I got a covid disclaimer to be considerate before leaving this review but covid is not an excuse for disgusting food. I make sesame chicken at home and it tastes far better than the crap I got from PF Chang's. PF Chang's sesame chicken was swimming in very loose liquid and the chicken was extra soggy. The rice was hard and tasteless. The quality was unacceptable. Although I've eaten at other PF Chang's, I do not remember it being this bad...the food from this location was atrocious. P F Chang's The Colony is one of a kind. This place is exceptional in every capacity. From the greeting by opening the door with a smile to being seated. Once I sat, I was given a small bowl with a hot towel to my drink. Now, I ordered drinks but the other persons were on their way so they held the drinks until they showed up to keep them fresh. The staff made sure everything was good and to our satisfaction. The place decor is amazing. They have HH until 7:00 at the bar and until 6:00 on the dinning area. Sad to write this. Although my family and I have enjoyed P. F. Chang's for many years in CA and TX, after last night's meal, we will never return. This is clearly a restaurant on its way out. The portions are approximately 1/3rd what they have always been. The beef/broccoli was disgusting. Over-cooked, dried-out meat, buried in a sickeningly strong soy sauce that reminded me of the street food I used to eat when I was a starving student. My son's noodles were dried out and again, a small portion. I researched to find out if they were having business problems and sure enough, they are. We've enjoyed them for years but if last night's meal is any indicator of "the new P. F. Chang's, then I say it's time to shutter it and move on. We won't be returning. read more

I decided to go here on their Grand Opening to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was a great experience! The service was professional and we were seated quickly. Our server, Siobhan, was delightful, detailed and efficient. I suggest you try their new menu item, Peking Duck, which was very tasty. Cocktails were decent and bathrooms were clean. Decided to pay a visit to a long ago Restaurant brand that I use to frequent regularly. The place was almost empty at 1 pm for lunch and the manager was friendly upon arrival. I decided to sit at the bar and the bartender was friendly. I quickly ordered a combo Lo mein and a new Beef Short Rib fried rice. That's when the trouble started. The food was Luke warm and void of any flavor. I swear I think the kitchen refrained from using any basic salt and pepper. The fried rice was equally as bland. I want my money back! Oh my ! Where to start?? This place needs corporate to come down and restart everything. From the minute you walk in the experience is just awful. Hostesses seem completely overwhelmed and appear to have no idea what to do. 2 girls looking frantic and 1 just staring at her phone. Came in on a Friday night , sat at the bar and ate dinner with my husband. Bartenders are nice but will literally take 20 minutes to make a drink !! The bar was not busy at all so we were shocked that it took so long to get us a drink. We were honestly flabbergasted at the amount of time we had to wait to get our drink. It's probably because they are hiring young kids who have no experience in hospitality. Food was decent and probably only redeeming quality about this location. Place is also quite dirty and greasy. Bar was filled with dirty dishes from past guests and dirty glassware was piled up so high it was taking up a whole section of bar. Where is the manager ? Where is the busser? Where is the barback? Service here is seriously awful! I've been in service industry for nearly 20 years and this place may be one of the worst run places I've ever been to. It seems as tho no one is trained and they are just making things up as they go. PLEASE FIX THIS PLACE. It's in a great location but is really going downhill quick! read more

This place was never great but has really gone downhill recently. Today, for the second time in a row, my wife's entree was completely different than what she ordered. She ordered spicy chicken and received the honey chicken. We mentioned this to our waitress and she shrugged and said "oh, okay". That's it. No offer to fix it, replace it or make it right. You would think (or hope) that if you are paying over $20 a dish you would have a chance to get what you order. Not here. They give 0 F's. They also charge $4.50 per person to "upgrade" to fried rice and then bring a tiny little bowl for the table to share. This place is pathetic and an absolute joke. We wouldn't step foot in this disaster again even if it was free. Don't waste your time if you are looking for an enjoyable dining experience. read more

There's a first time for everything. I've literally been to a million PF Chang's and NEVER had bad service. Well, that changed tonight. So, our server was new and totally screwed up our order. Mistakes happen. My frustration was with the manager, Kira?, how unapologetic and condescending she was. Never coming here again. I work hard for my money and to receive my meal at four separate times, is completely unacceptable, then made to feel as if I had done something wrong. Beautiful restaurant and great location in Grandscape. The ambiance was nice, but also pretty echoey. My boyfriend and I sat at the Bar to eat an early dinner. The bartender was nice and yet not very observant. We ordered iced tea, water, and steamed shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. He said he'd put in the order and come back to take our dinner order shortly. After patiently waiting 15 minutes for him to look our direction or come back to take our dinner order, my boyfriend had to actually call out to him to get his attention. He took our dinner order and when we asked about the shrimp dumplings he seemed surprised and said he would check in the back. Eventually a lady brought them out to us. At this point we still did not have silverware, napkins or much less a plate. As she dropped the dumplings off, she turned quickly around and left without a care in the world.... again just be observant and ask yourself: Do the customers need anything before I just walk away... or just ask us. We had to get her attention quickly, if we were wanting to eat non-caveman-style and without using our shirts as a napkin. Customers shouldn't have to go out of their way to track someone down to get these simple necessities. Just MY perspective. After eating 1 dumpling we just looked at each other in disappointment, is it Cold to you? Yes..... okay. No problem, this happens, let's get the bartenders attention. NOT SO EASY.... there were only 5 couples and 1 man at the large bar, yet he seemed to be able to make his way back to each and every couple to ask if they needed anything.... except for us. I'm not sure why, because we were very friendly and nice towards him. He continuously stopped to talk to a man that was sitting by hisself, maybe a friend or coworker.... I don't know, nor do I care, but at least be more OBSERVANT to refill our drinks or ask (us) if we needed anything. I really wanted to order a hot sake, but at the rate everything was going, that could take another 20 minutes. Once my boyfriend could finally get his attention, we shared with him that the dumplings were sadly cold. He apologized and said he would put in another order for us. Shortly afterwords the manager came out with a new plate of warm shrimp dumplings, he apologized for the issue and said he'd remove it from our ticket.... this was a nice gesture and certainly didn't expect it. We finished the dumplings and waited another 20 - 25 minutes before we got our dinner. I had ordered the Shrimp with lobster sauce and fried rice and my boyfriend got the Mongolian Beef with steamed rice. Let me just say.... the fried rice Looked sooooo Yummy, my mouth started watering just looking at it, but oddly and sadly it was Very Very BLAND. My shrimp with lobster sauce entrée was also dull and flavorless. My boyfriend didn't say much about his food, so I presume it was mediocre at best. My boyfriend was wanting to order desert, but decided not to, since everything was so bland and so time consuming. All together it took a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes from start to finish for the 2 of us. The do not understand. We are vegan, they make sushi rolls, and all they had to do was leave out the fish, but they wouldn't. We also ordered Brussels sprouts only to be told the dish is not vegan. We (a group of 6) came in a little on the late side but they were happy to serve us. The server, Ian, was very polite. knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. He was the caliber of waiter you'd expect at a much higher end restaurant. We never had to ask for refills, food was fresh (didn't taste like the last scraps of the day) and the experience was just overall so refreshing in a time where custome service seems to have gone by the wayside. I have only ordered online delivery. The delivery person failed to ring the doorbell and the manager was so kind to me to work it out with me. I love their food it is made from scratch. Yesterday was my first time dining inside of a restaurant since the Pandemic. When we walked into PF Chang's at The Colony, we were pleased to see how the seating was spaced out. Unfortunately, the server was about to seat us at a table that had not been cleaned. I noticed the water marks from the glasses on the table and there were crumbs on the table/seat. When we pointed it out to the hostess, she immediately grabbed a towel and wiped it. I was carrying disinfectant wipes in my purse and wiped everything again. It was around 3:00 in the afternoon when we arrived at the restaurant. So, it wasn't very busy. I'm not sure how the table was missed from being cleaned, if the staff was following proper protocol. Cleaning the tables after each use should be at the top of their safety checklist. The service and food was great. Unfortunately, we can't trust public places when they tell us that they have cleaned items after each use. For that reason, I will continue to carry wipes in my purse. read more

Went here last weekend for the first time and was disappointed. The website would not let you make a time for a reservation for dinner. Me and my husband did a walk in and they said the wait was going to be a hour that was not the problem. The problem was when we got seated the waiter told us the bartender was very overwhelmed and the drinks would take a while which they did but the bartender was by himself but the way he composed himself was not well you could tell that he was in a bad mood. The food itself was very slow on coming out and was very bland. It took forever to get out of the restaurant due to the pace due to the waiter told us that they got slammed with to go orders. I have been to different locations and have never had that problem before covid or not. The waiter felt bad for us waiting so gave us free soup and desert while we waiting. Our server was amazing due to he was honest and kept us updated on what was taking so long. If you were going to go to this restaurant definitely always make a reservation and .make sure they have enough staff. read more
