Only a 5 minute wait on a Wednesday night at 8pm. Although the hostess probably took about another 5 minutes to get to the stand. I haven't been to PF Changs in over a decade and my fiancé has never been, but we were very excited to try a bunch of different things like sushi and wagyu dumplings. Unfortunately they were completely out of both, which was disappointing but we ordered other dishes that were equally delicious. For starters, the Changs chicken lettuce wraps. You have to order these if you come. They may not look like anything special but they are absolutely delicious, more delicious than I remember it being. The use of iceberg lettuce instead of the lettuce cups (that I remember) was a tad disappointing and it did make it messy but the flavor was still good. We opted for the pork dumplings as well, very good flavor but a little chewy. Our main dishes were sweet & sour chicken and beef with broccoli. Both were soooo good, we ate just about every last bite. I especially loved the beef, as it was lightly fried and drenched in a nice Asian sauce. Our server was super friendly and helpful as well. I have been a huge fan of PF Changs for almost 20 years. I am from Rochester NY but the first time I ate there was in Arizona many many years ago. It has been my favorite ever since. There is one particular dish I get every time. The stir fried eggplant. My family took me there tonight for my birthday and much to my dismay, the stir fried eggplant is no longer offered. Place is very nice to walk into. Not a regular Chinese eatery. If you like to try new twist on dishes then I can recommend here. I did not care for any of it. Waiter started out good then went down hill after first plates came out. We had to keep getting people's attention to get items we ordered and more drinks. It is one of those I will take your order and and others will drop off the dishes to you and maybe I will be back when you are finished. I coukd if used hot oil I asked for and the knowledge that the soy was right in front of me. I left feeling disappointed in my whole experience. We did not take anything home it was that bad. Update - district manager called us and listened to our concerns and made things better. Much appreciated. Our only night out for a grown up dinner and we decide to give PF Chang's a third chance after 2 disappointing visits in past few years. Mistake. Walked in to find three hostesses unable to stop tripping on their panic about some reservation three days from today before they could seat us 5 minutes later. Then we got to enjoy the server bring my husband his dinner while bringing me the wrong order entirely. Ok ... it happens, BUT a new plate of fried rice in less than 15 minutes should be totally doable. Server avoided not only our table while checking on her other tables, but avoided looking at us all together. We finally got her attention, my food still in no sight. My husband ate none of his dinner and it sat under her nose at the edge of the table. She makes another lame attempt to explain that I should have something to eat eventually before I cut her short and asked for our bill for our appetizers and drinks (only 1 of 3 teas were available ). No manager spoke to us. And on the way out, when my husband expressed that he was displeased with the experience, the smartass hostess said "well, you're one". Wow. Haven't been there in a long time, but sorry that we went. I ordered Mongolian Beef with fried rice (which cost extra). The pieces of beef were so tough and burned that I couldn't eat it. The hostess apologized and made a new serving which was almost as bad and could not eat it either. The fried rice was just ok. My friend had the special which I tried and the meat was tough. Our lunch order took quite a while to get. The beef in my beef and broccoli order was tougher than Rocky Marciano. Was more like beef jerky and broccoli. Very small order of rice with the meal. My wife and I don't go out much as we like to cook at home, but on occasion we go out and we have been to P.F.Changs 3 times since it opened. Each time we have been disappointed, and we decided yesterday was the last. The restaurant was fully staffed and not full. About 8 empty tables in the main dining room. We ordered our food at 5:05pm and the waitress brought drinks & 1 appetizer 20 minutes later. We were not spoken to again for another 15 minutes when she asked if wanted more to drink. Then she returned with our drinks 40 minutes later and told us our food would be another 5-10 minutes as the kitchen was busy -_-. We said " No " tell us what we owe and we are going to leave, we have waited too long already (6:30 at this point). Most places would have apologized and given us at least a reduced check. Nope, not here! We paid $24 for 2 iced teas, 1 coke for our granddaughter and 1 order of 6 small dumplings. If all of this wasn't enough, we watched other staff wash down a dirty table with a wet rag and brush half a meal worth of rice from the table onto the floor. Then she ushered patrons through the restaurant, walked them right through the rice on the floor and seated them. Much like these people, we didn't look down when we were walking to our table, but we did notice that the floor and table were sticky (seems to be a common thing in restaurants these days). We were so hungry at this point and I hated to walk out of there, but I was honestly concerned about what kind of shape our food was going to be in after witnessing the rest of the nonsense (too much other stuff to even list here, but you name it...bathrooms -BAD/ Staff -slow and careless/ etc.). Did I mention 3 other tables that were sat after us got food before she even told us our food would be another 5-10 mminutes! Honestly, the ONLY thing going for this place is the Atmosphere. The presentation of food was fairly well and the service was also well, however, I believe what's important lies within the food and the quality of the food. As a tourist, who came to this area for a few days and I would like to put emphasis on me being Chinese, so I have and still am eating Chinese food daily, so I would like to presume I am knowledgeable about Chinese cuisines specifically. I read previous reviews , and I would have to agree the portion size is a little too small for its price point, considering it's suppose to be family style to share. The beef was on rougher side to chew and quite frankly tasted bland, in my opinion, I think it's a bit over cooked. But, I'll give the fact that the Lo mein tasted a lot better than the beef rice, the Lo mein had that little smoky taste that tasted alright, but other than that, nothing really left a lasting impression for me. I would like to say that I waited about 20 minutes before I got seated, but there was a lot of vacant seatings and outdoor dining as well, so that had me confused. I came here because Umi across the street closes down for 2 hours, I was not in a good mood... but surprisingly this place changed that fast! Since they are located at Eastview Mall there is a ton of parking and easy entrance from both in and outside the mall. I arrived on a Friday afternoon, we were seated right away...must of been great timing before the dinner rush. Our waitress was very nice and imminently took our drink order...I was in desperate need of an alcoholic beverage...Heineken fit the bill. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer. Tender chicken with green onions and water chestnuts over rice sticks with that incredible sauce! So tasty!! I also had the combo Pad Thai ( both chicken and shrimp) rice noodles, thai spices, tofu, green onion, and crushed peanuts... so much flavor packed into this dish.....taste bud overload! I did learn I'm not the biggest fan of the tofu. Also had the crispy honey shrimp, battered in tangy honey sauce with some green onion over rice sticks comes with a side of white rice. This was my favorite dish, so sweet and juicy! Needless to say we had a lot of leftovers. Mine however only made it to the following day.... so good!!! read more

The food was EXCELLENT. Service was VERY SLOW [not due to the server]. We had 5:30 reservations and got our food around 7:00 [or even a bit later]. They had one bar tender, so even drinks took like 1/2 hour to get to us. But, my pet peeve is UP CHARGES [and this restaurant is not the only one]. If they are going to up charge for a menu item, it needs to be clear that it is an up charge! Fried Rice was a $5.00 up charge [which we did not know until we got our bill], I find that very dishonest. We had 2 up charges, so our bill was $10 more,without our knowledge. The food was very good. Our server was so polite and nice. The restaurant was pleasant. I would definitely go back but would be aware of the sneaky up charges. read more

Made a reservation for 7:45 here on Friday night. Checked in on time and was told that we still have to wait for 10 mins. 15 to 20 mins after we got called and seated at one of the booths. I tried the geisha cocktail, it has grapefruit vodka and the fun part of it for me was the chia seeds on top. We also got an appetizer pork dumplings, the sauce was so good I can't stop dipping it. One thing I had to mentioned was that the way they wrapped it was poor. It falls apart as soon as u bite it. For our entree's we got Mongolian beef and brown rice and Chang spicy chicken with white rice. The Mongolian beef was average it was crispy but very bland. The portion enough for two, on the other hand let's talk about this Chang spicy chicken. I had to say this is really good and prolly my go to moving forward. The service was a tad slow too we waited quite a bit for our food. We got some chicken egg roll with dinner. That was delish but I'm not a big fan of their dipping sauce. Looking back to my childhood, whenever my parents took me to PF Chang's, I used to get so excited. Hadn't been there in a long time, and was excited to come back and experience it again. To be honest, the food is nowhere near as good as my memory served, but it wasn't bad. I was glad to see multiple Tofu options on the menu, but the rice was so bland. As someone who typically avoids chains however, the food quality was above your typical chain. My biggest complaint was the wait. The restaurant wasn't even at capacity and we waited over an hour for our meal. Our waiter was polite and apologetic about the entire situation, but there's really no excuse for having to wait that long for basic meals, especially with a reservation. Will definitely make me reconsider going back. read more

Normally the food is tasty and delicious but the egg flower soup was completely unappetizing. They used old julienned carrots with browning edges and tons of green onions which were not fresh, but a pale wilted yellow green. Omg what the he** happened to PF Changs? This location is in beautiful Eastview Mall and I would be kicking this restaurant right out of that space if I owned the mall due to sheer embarrassment to have them be the face/front of my mall, and be of such poor poor quality. Everything from the service to the food was WORSE than a school cafeteria. The waitress was totally RUDE to us, she didn't even pretend to like us or want to wait on us. The food was HORRIBLE!! And by horrible I mean inedible! We ordered my old time fave Mongolian Beef, and my husband ordered the sesame chicken. The Mongolian beef was so tough and did not taste like beef at all...more like cardboard and rubber band covered in sauce. The sesame chicken was even worse! The pieces of chicken were so tiny and crunchy they might as well been the sh*t that you would scrape off the bottom of your grill. He took one bite and pushed away his plate (and this is a man who can normally eat anything!). Never never never will we return to PF Chang. So very disappointed. Planned a luncheon of friends for Christmas. Called for a reservation to be greeted by a joyful hostess who also seated us upon arrival. Sadly, the lunch was a disappointment. We ordered lettuce wraps as a starter and the lettuce was literally dripping wet! The chicken mix seemed a little bland as well. Just wasn't as tasty as in the past. All four of us opted for the luncheon special which was a choice of appetizer, choice of entree, choice of starch. We all had spring rolls and they all came out OVER cooked. The wrapper was on the verge of burnt. For entrees, two people ordered standard menu items of Honey Chicken and Beef Broccoli. Just okay. Two of us opted for new menu items, Orange Chicken and Teriayaki Beef. The Orange Chicken was so overcooked you could not cut it. The teri-beef was missing a sauce or they put so little it was very bland. They brought additional sauce on the side which was flash heated and burnt. Clearly, they have not figured out how to prepare the new menu items. Plus, the brown rice was not yet finished and still crunchy. Service was just expected - nothing outstanding. She did the basics to serve us. Restaurant was only 2/3rds full too. Thankfully the company was stellar overshadowing a lack luster lunch. read more

As seen on other reviews the Pad Thai is not the greatest. We had a 2nd round made supposedly being monitored by the managers. First round no pad Thai sauce and all protein shriveled and soggy. 2nd round lots of pad Thai sauce protein still shriveled up. I eat slot of pad Thai and PF Changs should take it off the menu. I don't get on this side of town a lot so I was excited that I was and couldn't wait to eat at P. F. Changs. I Ate there two other times and it was .... Ok. I do love their lettuce wraps though!! So this time me and two coworkers went, ordered a couple appetizers which were good and I ordered the Mongolian beef, which was highly recommended by our waiter. It was not even close to being tender. It was overcooked and the pieces that looked promising to enjoy were chewy! It reminded me of beef jerky, which I love, but didn't give me the satisfaction of jerky! I was super disappointed and I was told by our waiter that the kitchen was messing up a lot. And that's all. I'm here on vacation and visited the EastView Mall, in Victor,NY. After shopping we went to PF Changs. After a short wait we were seated way in the back. No menu. Had to scan a symbol to get it. The Wi-Fi was not cooperating so I ask the server for a menu. I would tell you his name but NO name tag. I went to the restroom and their was food on the floor. The food was ok but I've had better. Service was good but like a McDonalds. I see you are going to blame Covid but no one was wearing a mask except me. You are saving a ton of money on this bare minimum eatery. I recently used a door dash gift card. The first time it came it was the wrong order I called Chang's and they were really rude. I called DoorDash and they credited back. I reordered and it came ice cold and no rice. Making me think it was the original order that had been sitting around. Very sad - I use to love PF Chang's. We order here fairly regularly, but there have been so many problems with our takeout orders in the past year, that I recommend checking yours, before leaving the restaurant. Case in point: today's Kung Pao Brussels sprouts were missing a key ingredient and were so salty, they were inedible. For some reason, we ended up with zero peanuts (bummer!) and a crazy amount of dried hot peppers (see the photo). The Chang's Spicy Chicken was missing the sauce it usually comes in, making the chicken dry. With no sauce to eat with the rice, that dish was a total disappointment. I'm not sure whether something just went radically wrong with the saltiness level tonight -- it was at an extremely unhealthy point -- but I'd recommend skipping the Brussels sprouts. I don't think I've eaten anything quite that salty before. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps were okay, but with the wet lettuce set on top of the dried noodles for our takeout order, the rice stick became tough and too chewy to eat, by the time we got home. We ended up tossing much of this dinner and scrounging through the fridge for something else to eat. This is my second visit. The first time it was mid afternoon and I wanted a snack. I chosed the Saigon Summer Rolls and Tea. Very satisfying and just enough. Service was by a young man, prompt and friendly. Today I went for dinner after a shopping spree. Joanna was my server. Very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Tropical Green tea and Crispy Honey Chicken. After a min or so I decided to have the Salt & Pepper Calamary. Joanna put my order on hold and brought me the appetizer first. The calamary comes in stripes rather than the circles that we are used to. Lightly battered and crunchy on a bed of crispy rice sticks with containers of the mixture of salt & black pepper(so you add to taste) and a vinagrete sauce. Light and delicious. Solid food. Solid ambiance. Solid presentation. Solid customer service. On any given time and day of the week, you're likely to see this place packed with diners from wall to wall. PF Changs gives the suburbanites just enough flavor to savor without venturing far away from home. I've been dining at PF Changs for years. It is a nice restaurant that serves their dishes family style. I've also rented out the party room on a few occasions and it is small, but can accommodate around twenty or so people. They offer a wide variety of Chinese-American dishes ranging from poultry and seafood to red meat or vegetarian. I prefer their crab wantan, tofu lettuce wraps, orange peel shrimp and their honey shrimp. This time around, I ordered their orange peel shrimp dish (see photo). It is prepared with a sweet and thick zesty orange sauce that coats the battered shrimp. It also has orange rinds, that I suppose add flavor and texture to the dish, but when you accidentally chew into one of them it's like the most bitter chewy thing ever (I spit them out- blah). My niece and I also shared an order of the crab wantans (see photo). They are absolutely delish! They are fried, crispy and have nice little servings of crab stuffed inside. The dipping sauce is sweet and pretty good also. My niece ordered the Changs Spare Ribs dish (see photo). She loved it very much and even had enough to take home for later. She ordered a side of noodles and rice to go with her ribs. All in all our total only came to $38.42 for one drink, two appetizers, one entree and a side of noodles. Not terrible! The manager Tim was so disrespectful standing very close behind us even when asked not to. His answer was and I quote: "I'm the manager and I can stand here if I want to" then he said "bye" with a nasty attitude. He took the side of a patron that was sexualy harrasing my girlfriend. He did not want to hear it and even kicked us out in front of everyone. He never asked us if we were ok, two gay women one latina but he asked the guy harrasing us if he was OK. Had lunch today with handicapped friend. Guy who brought us to table sat us in booth that was clearly difficult for friend to get into, he saw her struggling, and she had a baby, and he gave her a high chair to use that did not even reach the table height - I asked if there was a bigger area to sit and the place was pretty empty - he was not helpful and left. Luckily a waitress saw our struggle, and offered a low booth that helped tremendously-, I told her to report this to manager. Never saw manager to apologize. Front people need to be in tune with people with disabilities Be careful if you get a drink without ice, they only give you a drink 1/2 full.
