P-Town Coffee & Tea is such a cute coffee shop! And it's located IN a red railroad cart so it's super easy to find by the freeway. After going hiking, my boyfriend and I wanted a snack and coffee before driving home and continuing our day. We got the Jordanator & the americano and both were delicious! We also got bagels. The 56 was super yummy and the pesto was extra flavorful. The pigs in a biscuit was an interesting spin on pigs in a blanket. Prices were super affordable so be sure to stop by! read more

Stopped at this place for some Thai Tea with boba. We were asked sweetness level and said medium because we didn't want it terribly sweet. I used to love this place. I haven't got bagels from here for years. So today I order a bagel for delivery and I get a long ass hair in it. There is no way you could miss this hair. The food was great, we had the biscuits and gravy, pigs in a blanket, used some of the gravy from the bng on it and a cinnamon and raisin bagel with butter. Gravy was super good and had lots of pepper which I very much appreciate. Drinks were hot coco (insanely food) rose milk tea and the pomegranate ice tea, all were delicious. Ordered here through DD twice. First time (few months ago during the start of covid), I ordered 3 cold brews. It tasted like sweet half & half. The person who made the drink probably poured in half cold brew and half cream. Despite the negative experience, I decided to try it again today because of the high reviews on here. This time, I ordered a cold brew again, but with vanilla and no creamer. It tasted like sweet water this time. Extremely watered down. Maybe the other drinks are better, but the cold brew does not live up to its hype on here. read more

Let me just say, I've never been to Pacifica and when we were driving to our Airbnb we both fell in love with the exterior design of this shop. We love mom and pop places, and just the uniqueness of this place caught my heart. This is definitely a young person vibe. There is no certain design for this place on the inside, it just screams community which I love. And the coffee was really good. I love myself some good coffee, I wouldn't say it's the best coffee. Cute place but quality is not good. I've tried it several times and am never impressed. They don't know how to make a cappuccino; it's just a weak, watered-down latte. Today the large streaming TV was blasting the news and buffering constantly, pixelating and skipping in and out. So annoying I almost left while waiting in line. Stopped here last week on my way down the coast. This place is awesome! Good vibes, cute traincar and outdoor seating, easy parking. There was a group ordering ahead of me and the woman (only person working) told me sweetly to come inside. I asked for some tweaks to a bagel sando, substituting some eggs instead of pesto. I ask for this bagel everywhere I go and can honestly say she set me up with the best one yet, and didn't charge me extra for the substitution. P-Town Cafe should consider putting this bagel sandwich on the menu: toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, bacon, eggs and tomato. (For 6, maybe 7 bucks but no more!) She makes it like a pro! Also, iced coffee w/ coffee ice cubes was delicious and had me sufficiently caffeinated. New fave place on the 1, should be more places like this in Pacifica rather than the fast food chains/strip malls. read more

It was a misty afternoon and I had a thirst for coffee and waffles, so as a fine scholar like myself I looked on yelp and I stumbled upon this lovely establishment and thought it would be perfect for my craving. So I turned the key on my car and raced over to P-Town Cafe, little did I know this the best tasting waffle I've ever had. The coffee hit my taste buds with a powerful punch that laid me out on the ground. I would recommend this place to anyone with a sense of taste. This place is so cute!!! On my way to the good old Pumpkin Festival and in the need of a little caffeinated pick me up, I could not have spotted this place at more perfect time. So, being intrigued by the whole cutesy little cable car this shop is located in, you know I had to check this little gem out. Its located next to the famous Gorilla barbeque place in a red little caboose, you walk up stairs on the left side of the caboose and enter into a small but cozy little warm inviting place. I was immediately greeted by the extremely friendly husband and wife who I am assuming are the owners and was asked to be helped. They have a decent selections of pastries some cookies a small but temptacious looking breakfast items and of course a typical cafe menu with your basic lattes and so forth. Being its pumpkin season and all, I decided to try a small pumpkin latte which was only $2.95 My latte was very good, nothing exceptional though, I think the warm friendly atmosphere was certainly an added bonus to my little experience. I was also given a little card that they stamp for every 10 drinks you receive a free one which is nice, just wish I was in the area more often to take advantage of it. They were making some egg sausage and cheese bagels while I was waiting that looked absolutely mouthwatering and I would probably look forward to trying one of those suckers out on my next visit in. Used to go here every morning for coffee. Having the self serve option is so easy. Plus they have good options for breakfast. But there's a woman who works there who I swear purposely messes up our orders. You say no onions on the bagel, you end up with an onion bagel with extra onion. You want Chai? She'll just make a coffee. You have to literally watch her and check everything she does if you want it right. Burned bagels. Milk instead of soy. The list goes on. And if you're in a hurry it just doesn't work. I don't know what the issue is. But it seems like she's purposely messing up orders. So I don't go there anymore. If you go, check your order. Watch her make it. Be vigilant or plan on wasting your money. Edit to respond to Owner: These issues occurred over several visits to your cafe. My husband and I were staying in Pacifica as he had business to do in San Francisco! Being from Florida, I was craving my Dunkin Donuts coffee! We stopped by P-Town Coffee for coffee and bagels! We ordered the veggie bagels! OMG!! We literally could not stop talking about them all day! We went back the next day for more! However, this time, in addition to the bagels, we tried one of their honey bran muffins! OMG!!! Seriously, that's all I kept saying! This coffee and specialty drink place is really great. It is very easy-on easy-off of PCH. You can have whatever you want at a reasonable price. I usually drink the coffee, which is always very hot and good tasting. It is convenient, very well put together inside of a little red caboose, and staffed by friendly and helpful barristas. There is a patio outside and also a couple of nice wood chairs inside. A good place to start out or end up with a hot cup of your favorite drink and a treat. I absolutely love this place. They have the best bagels and drinks in town, however their hours are so inconsistent. I never know when they are open. I have tried several times in the last 2 months to go here and they are always closed. Yesterday (Sunday) my husband tried calling to see if they were open so we could get bagels. He called at 10am, 10:30, and 11am. No answer at all. I tried ordering at DoorDash and couldn't place an order because it said they are temporarily closed. After a while we gave up. I want to support this business. Don't want them to close down, but they really need to post their hours and be consistent. read more

I don't come very often here. But I do come by a few times early in the morning before work or after surf as a convenient spot. Their latte, coffee, cappuccino are sooo awesome and very very warm. Plus a quiet low key environment. I like it also where Liliani's Thrift Shop is right around the corner. :) I also like how they displayed a local artist jewelry shop inside. I recently bought a large thermos of hot chocolate (kraft? I'm not sure what they are called). I ordered from the owner and she was lovely. She accommodated my schedule and had an employee assist me to my car. I needed to make sure 60 small children stayed toasty outside in November and PTown cafe helped me do just that. The hot chocolate was delicious, affordable price, amazing service! I recommend PTown cafe to everyone I can. I hope to work together again soon. The chai latte is quite good with the special housemate mix. What is really outstanding is the service. We arrived at 11:30 before their closing time at 12:00. She apologetically told us she just ran out of eggs but if we were willing to wait she would run out to the market and get more eggs.
