Food is delicious. I had pork tacos. When you order tacos (3 tacos at 10.99) at a so called STEAKHOUSE you usually think you will get beans and rice in the side. Not at this place. They did serve whole pinto beans with rolls while being seated. But my plate came with THREE tacos and a garnish of lettuce with a couple limes. That's it. Won't return. I can go to a roach coach and get tacos just as good if not better for 1.50 each. I'm not a math major. But 11 bucks for three tacos. We're approaching 4 dollars for a four bite taco. Cute little place with a down home feel. The menu has a lot of great choices but prices are kind of high for a small place like this. I tried the country fried steak. It was delicious and was a decent portion. They serve complimentary beans and rolls, which is different but good. Would probably go back to try a burger or something. Steak prices are high. Eat there regularly. Love the food. Love the wait staff. Prices are great, though not "fast food" low. Very reasonable for the quality.

My meal was horrible. My hot roast beef sandwich was made out of pressed deli roast beef and a cheaper cut of deli meat at that. I thought that since they were a 'steak house' that their roast beef would probably be good... but boy was I wrong. The mashed potatoes were real but were barely warm and the gravy was straight out of a package. The service was very friendly (hence my two star rating), however this couldn't make up for the lousy food. My wife liked her fish taco's (I thought they were iffy myself). The entire restaurant itself is crowded into one small, bright, noisy room where the tables are packed tightly together (it did have a separate bar that we didn't go into it). I would recommend that you save your money and eat elsewhere. read more

Basic small town restaurant with reasonable prices and good food. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had ribeyes with baked potatoes and salad. Bread and a serving of beans were complimentary. Everything was yummy,and prepared to our satisfaction. They have a pretty varied menu as well as desserts. They are also open until 9 which was good since we had been off roading all day. I had to write a review because I am a picky eater, was out on the road and had no idea where to eat in this small town! We finally decided on Pablo's because it had the most cars in the parking lot. To say we were surprised at the quality of the food would be an understatement! I eat veg, so I ordered the fried pickles, fried zucchini and steamed veggies, not really expecting much. My sis ordered the boneless chicken wings and my friend, the fish tacos. To start out, the friendly waitress immediately brought to the table fresh warm rolls and some delicious pinto beans (?). We didn't really get the beans, but they were homemade and really good. My sister's chicken was not frozen, was fresh cut white meat, perfectly cooked with a spicy sauce. All it was missing was the blue cheese dressing and celery, but we let that go. My friend's tacos were also delicious. But what I really want to point out is the that HUGE plate of fried pickles were homemade, with a very light, crispy batter and served with a spicy mayo based dipping sauce. The zucchini sticks were the best I've ever eaten. They had a different type of batter and inside we were shocked to find FRESH zucchini that still retained a little firmness, not mushy at all. Neither was greasy either. And the steamed vegetables were one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Fresh cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and YELLOW carrots! Perfectly steamed, a very large portion that was perfectly seasoned as well. You could have knocked me over with a feather at this point! Maybe we just got lucky, but we were so shocked at how good everything was and how nice the people were that I had to give them credit. Anyone who travels a lot knows that you never know what you are going to get when you walk into a place like this in a town you don't know. Kudos!! read more

I am a huge fan of customer service. I arrived at this place during the weekend to eat lunch as I was passing through from tombstone az on my way to Tucson. As I was eating, there were dead bugs on the floor.. I informed a woman working there named Margaret. She began yelling at me in Spanish which I didn't understand. But from the look on her face, she looked mad. She then began to tell me to get out and informed me that if I didn't leave, she would call the police on me. On top of that incident, the kitchen staff were yelling vulgar slurs and play fighting with customers in the diner. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. If you do happen to eat here, be sure not to bring up any issues with the staff if you intend to eat there. The only person who actually tried to help me was a great hostess named Tracy. Stopped for breakfast on Sunday. Outside was attractive; inside decor very nice, simple and clean. We were greeted by a very friendly staff who stayed friendly throughout the service. I ordered the special - eggs, ham and biscuits and gravy. Biscuits & gravy were good flavor (extra thick gravy) and I am bit of an officianado on B&G! Homemade biscuit. Ham (smallish) portion about the size of 2 slices of bacon. My friend had chorizo & 3-scrambled eggs - she said it was delicious "just right balance of chorizo to egg and not too spicy-hot and not greasy", with warm tortillas & ranch beans. When you have a coupon that says "half off the second entree" what would you think??? Does that imply breakfast or lunch? By the way the coupon had no fine print either and yes it influenced our choice to eat there for dinner. Used to like the good food. Won't be back. We were told of our coupon after we ate, "It doesn't really say this but we called our manager and this coupon is not for dinner". Really? "It doesn't say this" It would have been nice to have a disclaimer upon entrance that all coupons can be disregarded when the management feels like it. Won't be back! Ever! read more
