I came here with my mom and kiddos tonight. It's a cute little location with friendly customer service. We tried several options and settled on a dark chocolate flake for my chocolate loving kid, honey vanilla for my vanilla loving kid, and two sundaes. All were delish and we got a pint to go for my stepdad and husband who stayed home. There isn't much seating but we were able to sit inside. Most people were sitting on the curb outside or on the bench. I will be coming back soon! read more

I've been the to shop once or twice and I actually enjoyed the ice cream, but will not be going back because of the owner. I live behind this shop and share an alley with it. When I moved into my rental, the property manager specifically told me that I could park my car in the back alley as long as I was parked on the portion behind my house and was not blocking the alley. That is exactly where I parked. As there is not much space in the front of the house, I have parked there before, and I make sure there is still space for the other cars parked across to back out and leave without my car being in the way. I was not blocking the alley or preventing anyone from getting out. This happened a few days ago. At around 10:30 PM, while I was asleep, a man, who I guess is the owner, was outside screaming loudly enough for the entire block to hear, repeatedly asking whose car it was. He then trespassed onto my property through the back gate, came to my door and pounded on it, waking me up. I am a young woman home alone while my husband is out of town. I opened the door to a man I did not know, standing there trying to intimidate me by yelling at me about my car and telling me that I was blocking him. I explained that I lived there, had been told by my property manager that I could park there, and that there was plenty of room for him to back his car out without being blocked by mine. He continued yelling at me and threatened me, telling me to leave my car there and "see what happens." The entire interaction was captured on my Ring camera. I even asked him directly, "Are you threatening me on camera?" His response was that he did not care. I ultimately moved my car simply because I wanted the man to leave me alone and I did not feel comfortable continuing the interaction. Even after I agreed to move it, he continued talking to me and calling me a "bitch". Whatever the parking situation may have been, there are normal ways to handle a parking dispute. Pounding on a young woman's door at 10:30 at night, screaming at her, threatening her, and calling her names is not one of them. Especially when I had been told by the person I rented my home from that I was permitted to park there and, from what I could see, he had ample room to back out. I have Ring camera footage documenting the interaction, including the threats and the way I was spoken to. If this is how people associated with this establishment treat the people who actually live in the neighborhood, I have no interest in ever stepping foot inside this place again. More importantly, after this interaction, I no longer feel comfortable or safe having this man coming into the alley directly behind my home and now knowing where I live. Costumers should seriously consider whether this is who they want to support. read more

We were greeted immediately and we asked to try a few samples and I settled on an espresso martini and hubs had the rocky road. The shop itself is a bit small although very cute. Delicious, home made real ice cream, so many choices! They even had to go pints ready and some non dairy choices as well. We will definitely be back to try other flavors. read more

A great place where they make the ice cream there. Dog friendly. There is parking on site if you are lucky or parking around the neighborhood. You can walk here from the beach too. They make the waffle cones in house too and have a good variety of classic and unique flavors. Great for the summer or anytime really. Quality is amazing and worth the price. Staff seem to enjoy working there and if you are lucky, you will get to meet the owner Dave. The ice cream base wad a light strawberry flavor and then there were tiny chunks of chocolate and strawberries that were blended in and "freckled" the ice cream. WOW! Probably the best waffle cone I have ever had. Also, the chocolate covered strawberry ice cream was really good. I do wish there were chunks of strawberry, but the flavor is there and it's so delicious just personally I love chunks of fruit in my ice cream. In my group we tried each others' flavors and the one that stood out to everyone seemed to be the cinnamon bun and the seasonal/special ice cream flavor Julian apple mountain berry pie. They have unique flavors and quite a bit of them. My husband, Dad, and brother in law went to pick up the ice cream for everyone and they said that everyone working there was super friendly. They said it was a cute spot. They gave a loyalty punch card which I thought was super cool too! I know that we will definitely be coming back! My family has their own favs with mine being either the candy cap mushroom or the grapefruit ice, my husband loves the Dad's Mint Chip, my son's fav is the Oreo, and my daughter loves all the ice flavors. Second time here and it was just as amazing! Little man got chocolate covered strawberry this time. I tried and was amazed with the Julian apple pie flavor. And I couldn't get anything other than mint chocolate again... it's sooo damn refreshing. Hubby got both chocolate covered banana and strawberry. Service was fast and friendly, as expected. After a long hot day at Sea World, ice cream was the only thing on our mind. My husband yelped Ice cream in the SD area and we ended up at pacific beach ice cream. They have a nice variety of gluten free and vegan ice cream. The mint n chip is out of this world delicious. Take about a fresh herb ice cream! So good that I need to go back ASAP! My husband had their chocolate covered banana and he was over the moon excited about it. Service was great and the girl was so nice that she gave me all the samples I asked for. My husband and I dropped in on a rainy day looking for a sweet treat. We had no idea we were going to get such yummy, quality ice cream! Dave was amazing and although he was a little busy, he reassured us every couple minutes that he'd be right with us. The shop itself was very cute and welcoming.
