Mr Frostie is a classic establishment in PB that's been around for a long time. It has that old Americana charm when ice cream was much more simple back then. Aside from their shakes which there are a lot of candy-related flavors, the ice cream flavors are simply chocolate, vanilla and twist. They also have varieties of sundaes and banana splits and even a dirt cup! I got the Hot Fudge Cake which was so good! You can't go wrong with chocolate cake, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and a lot of peanuts. Such a classic combination of flavors and hits all the nostalgia spots in me. For only $7, this is very reasonable for the amount you get. We also got a chocolate dipped swirl cone ($4.50) and that was solid too. Service was also extremely fast; you order and literally walk to the next booth and it's already ready! Mr Frostie is awesome and I'm so glad to see a place like this still going strong. Service is always friendly and fast, and they support the community! They got new tables/seating now. They still have their small credit card fee but really reasonable. It's a rare and wonderful day to have a delicious dessert that is inexpensive without feeling cheap. This is a true spot to take the family and everybody comes away happy. I've tried the twist (vanilla and chocolate) cone, the butterfinger milkshake, and the Hot Fudge Cake sundae. The sundae was good but not amazing - I liked the ice cream and the fudge, but the whipped cream didn't have much flavor and the chocolate cake was kinda meh. Nice little mom and pop shop that been here for as long as I can remember. I remember coming here as a kid and now I bring my kid. Same kind service, long line, and ice cream...just like I remember. Came on a weeknight and luckily the line wasn't down the street and it moved quickly. The guy working was very friendly and made an excellent shake full of fresh crunchy Oreo pieces. Delicious! Shake was thick and frozen and creamy perfection. Come hungry because it is a lot. I'm glad we shared even though I was tempted to order a dipped cone for old times sake. There are a few picnic tables to sit and people watch while you enjoy your treats. This place is always busy and there's a reason. Reasonably priced and good portion sizes and friendly service.
