Food, atmosphere and service were excellent. There's a free parking garage right next to it. The seating is plenty of shaded outdoors and plenty of indoors with many booths. Large place too. The food was really good and the side order of beans wow tasted so delicious. We went for lunch and got the smaller dishes. Price not bad. It was the most odd dining experience I've ever had. It's like the continuously forgot we existed. After sitting at the table for 20 minutes with wait staff just walking continuously passed us we finally had to waive a manager down to get someone to take our order. Our waitress was very sweet, but after we got our food, I think she forgot we existed. We had to eventually flag her down to get boxes and checks after clearly being done eating for a significant amount of time. Then once we got checks, she once again forgot about us and we had to flag her down again. From her reaction it's clear she legitimately had forgotten about us. They need to hire many more wait staff so there are not so many tables for one person to try and keep track of. read more

Great date night spot! My husband and I had dinner here because we were craving sea food. Pacific Catch offers a variety of seafood; we were especially interested in the tacos and the sushi. The fish tacos we had were delicious - 2 was filling enough for me and the flakey fish tasted clean and crisp. I had a friend from out of town ask for "healthy food" for lunch. There were so many delicious and well presented options here that we both had a difficult time choosing. Once we made a choice, the waiter offered us an additional option that was even better with crab! We took his advice, and we both ordered the Double Rainbow Sushi Bowl. When we walked in we were acknowledged and asked wait a minute. We did not wait long. We were brought to a table by the open kitchen area. Everything in here looked so nice. I love the open kitchens! This was the first time here and the food was delicious! The portions were great! I didn't have that yucky full feeling after we ate. I got the salmon with the pineapple salsa. ( I think that's what it's called, it's new) along with a salad and street corn. Everything tasted fresh! Good portions! My partner got the fish in chips that came with calamari. That was good too! Pacific Catch has location, ambiance, great food and nice service. It is located downtown Walnut Creek adjacent to the Broadway Plaza shopping center and sits next to Trampas creek. It is a beautiful location. The restaurant is attractively designed with both indoor and outdoor seating. Some outdoor tables are near the creek, and others are located in a covered but open area with fans and heaters. Those attributes are pleasant, but what brings me back again and again is the great food and service. I think the West Coast Salmon bowl is one of our favorite meals of all time. My wife always selects Pacific Catch when I ask her where she would like to go for lunch on any given day. It is a combination of salad components, brown rice with quinoa, grilled cauliflower and topped with a serving of grilled salmon. The flavors are delicious and varied with pleasing textures. I love this place!! Super yummy food, service is great, and I love everything they have to offer. I love all the fish options raw and fried! Love the poke and ceviche sampler the most! You can taste how fresh the food is with every single bite. Generous portion for appetizers. - Ramen Red Curry Shrimp (Spicy): it's more blend and lighter than regular curry ramen. A great option when you want curry ramen but don't want it too heavy. We added crab and love how they actually put herbs in there. The herbs just hit the right spot for me. - Ramen Hawaiian Saimin Pork: don't forget to add the eggs when you order this. Again it's not too heavy, felt healthier and less guilty having 2 bowls of ramen. Chashu was cooked right and melt in your mouth. We talked to Sarah and Gabriel today and they were the most hospitable managers we've met. Loved being able to choose the 3 poke/ceviches. It came with 2 varieties of chips and 3 varieties of veggies. The quality of the fish was average. 2. Pupu Platter ($21, regular $27, 3/5) - Also another good sampler platter. The coconut shrimp was pretty good, the spare ribs were really dry, and the guac-poke was a bit salty. By the time we ordered food, there were 3 or 4 other parties. So things were picking up. There were a lot of options on the menu and i was torn between the specials, ramen, poke bowls, and shrimp tacos....so many ways we could go here. We ended up both going with a bowl and ordered the small of each. They were huge! I don't know how we would have finished the regular bowls tbh. I got the Mexican grill bowl with shrimp. Lots of good flavors and sauces in that bowl. 10/10 in that regard. My shrimp was pretty cool to the touch though and I would have preferred it warmed up before put on my bowl. Ok, another reviewer said this but i was like, eh im sure it's fine, but getting to the bathroom was a journey. Since we were on the left most side of the restaurant when you walk in, there's no direct path to the other side where the bathroom is without going through what feel like server areas. Either very close to the kitchen, in between the row of tables where the staff have a stand with utensils and dishes, or around the host stand in the front. I get these are booths and probably not easy to move but it would make a lot of sense to take out a booth in the middle to allow space for patrons to walk between rows. There is plenty of seating so one less booth should not make too much of an impact. Anyway, lots of options on the menu. I suspect i will be back to try to fish/shrimp tacos next. When I first walked into this restaurant, I was so excited to eat with its beautiful interior space. Unfortunately, the food is not very good. The menu looked very promising, ranging from sushi, tacos, to giant platters of mixed greens and seafood. However, the extensive menu should have indicated that the quality of certain items would be questionable. Don't get me wrong, our server was great. He was very friendly and attentive. But our food came out really really SLOW considering that we did not come at a busy time (which I'm sure wasn't his fault) Do NOT order the sushi from here. We got the rainbow roll and it was a mess.
