Went to Pacific Restaurant on a whim last night when our electricity went out. Wow! 3 of us ordered different things and all of the dishes were exquisite-- delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance was also wonderful, including great music on a Saturday night. We look forward to going back soon. read more

Overall the experience was nothing spectacular or anything horrible. Although the restaurant was relatively empty service was still pretty slow, I ordered a salad that didn't come until after everybody else's meals (burgers and a steak dish). The fries were amazing and there was live music that added to the relaxed environment. Other than those two things the rest of the meal was mediocre. The salmon was delicious, not fishy and one of the best preparations. The crab ravioli was like creamy crack.

One of our absolutely favorite places to eat on the coast. The crab ravioli is a signature dish that you can't pass up! The owners have worked so hard to re-open this restaurant after their old building was torn down in the Tillamook redesign. They can now take large groups, and have amazing live music on Friday nights. They have also opened a bakery inside the restaurant and a bottle shop. Love these guys! This review should be zero stars, not one. Do NOT eat at this restaurant. The service is more than terrible. It is worse than inept. I have eaten at restaurants in 43 states, 4 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 2 middle Eastern countries, Russia, Japan and China and have never had a worse experience. I ordered clam chowder and fish and chips for both myself and my wife. The chowder was delivered after a 20 minute wait. One order of fish and chips was delivered to me but not to my wife after another 20 to 30 minutes. (Why not to my wife first?) We thought the second order was coming soon so my wife encouraged me to eat mine before it got cold. We shared part of the order, and, after another 20 minutes I got up and went to desk to verify that they understood we had placed two identical orders. They verified that we had and said the second plate of fish and chips was on the way. We waited another 20 minutes and no order came. Finally, I laid down cash for the chowder and only one order of fish and chips and walked out. This restaurant was not busy. This service was inexcusable. read more

I don't understand why this place doesn't have a ton of 5 star reviews. Everything was amazing! The food was delicious and everything was well presented. I started with the French onion soup. It was very good. They brought a basket of bread and olive oil for dipping. The bread was very bland, but the texture was good. The calamari was excellent. I also ordered the Flor de Mer a la Depoisse. It was amazing. All kinds of fresh seafood. I am sure it is not common to find such a great restaurant in such a small town. I can honestly say that this is a MUST TRY! Not sure what other reviewers are talking about! I started with a great, smooth glass of Malbec. The French onion soup was amazing! Rich veal broth with a nice tangy finish. I guess everyone has their own favorites... but mine was fantastic! Better than anything I've had in Paris. Well done! My seafood linguine was great. The seafood was fresh and amazingly juicy for being in a rich creamy broth. The linguine was dressed perfectly and plenty of rich broth at the bottom if you wanted more. We didn't have room for dessert, but we got the carrot cake to go! Finally, Nelia and the staff we're prepping for the farmers market the next day and let us buy some focaccia and cookies on our way out! What a great experience! This is now my favorite restaurant in Tillamook hands down! Great vibe and great service. It's a shame other reviewers didn't have the same experience that we had. This by far the weirdest place we've ever been. Everything is so disjointed from the service to the decor to wacko band that was playing I swear it's like a full blown off his meds schizophrenic is running this place. It wasn't really all that busy the night we visited but still couldn't find us a table or a menu. The decor is strange. Weird paper balls hanging from the ceiling fiscus trees around. What looks like a cool counter to eat at is being used as storage for everything from bread to a broken box fan. Service was late and odd. The lady was nice but probably over employed as a waitress. Food was subpar especially for the prices. The five person band is a ridiculous waste of what would be great window seating for three more tables. The band is loud enough we couldn't have a conversation and honestly they're not that good. They're not playing anything special. Lots of elevator music. Overall shitty. In Tillamook for the fair. We decided that seafood sounded good so we went to Pacific Restaurant. First problem was that they were out of the first three beers my friend and I tried to order. OK, we finally decided on one and placed our order. Bread with balsamic vinegar and oil was brought to the table. The oil was the wrong kind. Too thick and quite tasteless. A second plate of bread was requested and we had to ask three times to get it. On to the food. Gotta have clam chowder, right?! Each of us ordered a bowl. Not the best, not the worst. Way too thick, not enough clams, not enough potatoes. Not enough taste. Ordered fish and chips to share. The fish (halibut) was delicious-flaky and favorful. The fries (chips) were warm, soggy, and tasted very fishy as if they had been cooked in the same oil as the fish. Also, no sides with the fish. I would have appreciated even a small bowl of cole slaw. Our waitress was very nice but seemed a bit flaky. She looked like she was unsure of which table was which. All in all a nice enough restaurant but I would not recommend it if you are looking for quality seafood. read more

We went to the restaurant last week. Ordered a nice beverage and salad. The overall look of the restaurant was nice and posh. However the kitchen area opened up to a seating/bar area as if the customers were right in the kitchen. So basically very little separation. I also noticed food and containers on that bar area where the customers were. Not sure why it was all cluttered there. A little unsettling since there are health protocols in place to prevent that. Otherwise the atmosphere and our waitress was wonderful. The prices could be better and a little more variety would be nice. I would not recommend a family dinning here unless you can pay $18-$20+ a plate. read more

We had been anticipating this place opening for quite sometime. After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical but... DONT BE FOOLED! My partner & I went in for lunch on a weekday with our 8 month old. Service was friendly and quick! To start we were brought warm bread with olive oil & balsamic to snack on. We ordered the beet tartar, the charcuterie board and a Reuben with fries. Everything was amazing! To start the beet "tartar" was more like diced beets, both red & golden. A massive salad consisting of beets and goat cheese. I believe there were greens on the side but I was so blown away by the amount of actual beets and cheese served on this $7 appetizer. Any other establishment would have costed $15 easily. The beets were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The charcuterie board was also VERY generous in the amount of meat & cheese for the price. Also tasty & local cheese and meat if I remember correctly. The Reuben was a hit. Huge, messy and filling. Pastrami on point. The decor is cute! Rustic-ish theme with a modern-industrial vibe. Open kitchen looks pretty cool and a pretty large built in bar. I hope this place takes off because the food is spectacular. The bar menu could use some work as the cocktails were generic sweet drinks and could totally be so much classier. (If you want help I'm here to offer my assistance!) I saw quite a few bottles of wine on the bar but don't recall seeing a menu so I'd be interested to see what they have to offer. Though I'm not sure this place is appealing to most of the long time residents of this county, there are quite a few (like ourselves) that enjoy a "foodie" experience and there are none in Tillamook with few and far between on north coast in general. CLASSY PLACE IN TILLAMOOK! What a delightful surprise! After a day at the coast, my partner and I were so happy to find this place OPEN FOR DINNER ON MONDAY! The atmosphere was great, with a perfect jazz soundscape, and the food was excellent! The Dungeness Crab Cakes were the best I've had, salads were heavenly, and honey's burger was perfect! To say I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Tillamook is an understatement. Food was excellent, especially for Tillamook. Having relatives that live here, the general consensus is that there are no good restaurants in Tillamook. I would disagree. Promptly seated and service was spot on. Wine list was definitely substantial for the location. Food was top notch. I had the steak and the wife had the scallops. Both cooked perfectly. We live in Portland and there are steak restaurants there that can't cook a steak to save their souls. Very pleasantly surprised and will be back. read more

Waited 10 minutes for a waitress with menus. 30 minutes after placing order I was still waiting for BLT, a simple sandwich. Asked to speak with a manager since waitress had no idea when our food would come out. No manager ever came over but after an hour sitting @ a wall facing table sandwich arrived. It appeared to have been made the day before. The toasted bread was burnt & the bacon ice cold & hard. Even the tomatoes were the end pieces that no one wants to eat. Can't understand how it took an hour to get a sandwich that wasn't even freshly made? Walked out without eating & will never return to this restaurant! read more

I can't speak for the food, because we were never seated, but the service was appalling. We stopped in a week ago at 1:15 on a Monday for lunch. We waited for 10 minutes to even be approached. The restaurant was less than half full, two servers glanced at us repeatedly without acknowledging us, as did the bartender, who then joined a couple of friends? customers? sitting at the bar. After we asked, twice, about being seated, a woman came out looking stressed and we asked about a large booth that was open. She said that would be fine, but we would be waiting a long time for food, at least 30 minutes. By this point, two other groups were behind us. Remember, the restaurant wasn't even half full. Since they didn't seem to want anyone else there, all three groups left in search of other options. What kind of restaurant turns away business? If they were short-staffed that day, why not say so? And how hard is it to have servers/bartenders greet people with a smile and a "we'll be right with you?" Really disappointing, as the menu looked good and we made the trip from Manzanita to dine here and ended up having a lackluster meal at Pelican Brewing. read more

I finally grabbed my husbands wallet and marched up to the till. Another waitress waited on us for this. I told her we had been waiting for a very long time. She had stated "sorry about that. Wow, listen lets get the story straight here, this restaurant has been the best restaurant in Tillamook hands down from the time it opened, period. Since the re-opening in their new location on Main St, they have upped their game, expanding the wine list, adding fine and rare wines, increasing the entree options and the new space is fantastic. We have eaten here many, many times, ALWAYS had superb service, friendly wait staff and great food. The crab ravioli is world class, salmon a reliable favorite, heck even the chicken strips on the kids menu is the best our daughter has ever had. Nothing else in the region competes by a long shot. Tillamook is lucky to have these guys in town and we look forward to stopping here each time we come through. read more
