Stopped for lunch here today and we ordered a rueben and a chicken caesar. Rueben came with fries that had obviously been cooked in the same fryer as fish. No cream for the coffee. Ask for salt and pepper after 15 minutes had to walk up to the kitchen to get some. Not sure how you mess up a Reuben but it was dry and burned on the outside. The young man that waited on us was polite but come on folks give the kid some training. Waited at the table to pay our tab with plates pushed up and wallet in hand. After another lengthy wait I ask to pay the tab and was informed their system was down. Fortunately I had exact change and left it on the table and walked out. read more

I can't see the poor reviews below based on our experience here. We were greeted promptly and nicely and seated quickly. There was live music so it wasn't as quiet as we're used to but the music was very good. I had the seafood linguini, which was very good. My wife had the halibut fish and chips and thought it was great. They were pretty busy and as our server said, short-handed, but the service was still fine as far as we were concerned. We'd definitely stop by here again when we're in Tillamook. read more

Whaaaat? A 5-star restaurant in my little ol' home town of Tillamook? When my parents said we were coming here I had my doubts, but after having one of the best meals of my life, I must agree. I had the Seafood Linguini, my dad had the oyster salad, and my mom had the large beautiful ribeye steak. All of our meals were cooked to perfection, the flavors were amazing and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. And the decor is fresh, fun, and also warmly inviting. We met one of the owners (Amelia) who also happens to be a classmate's of my niece, and they're doing a great job. It's particularly impressive that they're making it in such a small town with a season-dependent clientele. Kudos! I'll be back next time I'm in town read more

This place was just so AWFUL. The service was non-existent...the server didn't give us any utencils, we had to ask for bread multiple times, my food came out so salty and inedible (not to mention I didn't get the simple modification I asked for) and the server never checked in on us, I asked for the manager and was told she was in the kitchen and too busy to speak... Oh and I overheard the person next to us order oysters and didn't get ANY condiments (I.e. cocktail sauce nor mignonette) nor any utencils either and the the bartender told her he could get BUTTER with her raw oysters. Was great food, the cost was more than I usually pay for food, but the steak was well worth it. Steak was like butter. Creme Brûlée was very creamy and good. A party members carrot cake piece was huge. Walked out so full couldn't eat another bite. read more

While vacationing up the pacific coast we were hard pressed to find a fresh sustainable restaurant. The Pacific Restaurant in Tillamook did not disappoint! The salad was fresh, bread was simple and fresh baked, our entrees were outstanding and the dessert was fantastic! I would highly recommend the salmon or sole dish! The lobster mushrooms mixed in with the veggies were excellent! The carrot cake was super moist and delicious! I would highly recommend, if your looking for a upscale meal! This is a spectacular restaurant. My family group of 12 called 5 minutes ahead and they had a table setup only an hour before closing before dinner prep. Staff was amazing and very attentive. We had a woderful experience and would reccomend it to anyone and everyone. The food was devine and presented wonderfully. The fresh ingr ed dients and artisan breads were all spectacular. I had thg he oyster stew and it was TV he best I've ever had. We had a variety of dishes around the table and every person raved aboug their meal. We had a terrific dinner at Pacific Restaurant. We ordered a fresh berry salad, clam chowder and pan fried scallops. The dressing on the salad was delicious and the berries were locally sourced. The chowder was buttery and flavorful. Our main course was the scallops and we enjoyed the flavors and presentation. There was a live band that performed some of our favorite songs. All in all we would recommend this restaurant!! read more

So when we ate here, they definitely had just opened because the bar surround and restrooms were actually not finished (remodel-wise) and the booths and ceiling weren't totally finished (exposed Sheetrock). But this was no soft opening folks. Service was fantastic and the food was perfect. The seafood was incredibly fresh! Kudos to Phil (the chef) because they delivered on the local, sustainable incredible food. The place is huge (in the old public market/consignment place) and there were lots of customers but they staffed the place right. Food came fast, cooked perfectly. My fiancé and I went to Pacific for lunch, we were very excited to try out the newly opened restaurant, as we are new to the area and experienced diners! The service staff clearly has no management. They are friendly and want to be helpful but do not have the tools or training to deliver. We ordered the French onion soup, lamb gyro, and seafood linguine. The food was okay, but when we ate the linguine, I took a mouthful of rotten mussel. Instantly running to the bathroom with stomach illness. When I came back to the table, I informed the server that there was spoiled shellfish in the pasta that made me sick. She went to the kitchen and came back saying that our linguine was on the house. Pretty sure when someone throws up in the restaurant, that calls for management to make a visit. We asked to speak with a manager about the situation. Our server, came back and said the owner Phillip will be over to speak with us. Phillip approached the table with extremely hostile body language. With his chest puffed and arms folded he told us in a loud tone that the meal was free and what else do we want? In complete and utter shock I tried to find the words to say that I felt threatened. He then proceeded to get in my face and kept cutting me off during my responses, and making excusing for the mistake. Saying it was the line cook who made it, and there is always a bad mussel in the bunch (which isn't true). It got to the point of hostility and excuses that I just said "okay" and was prepared to leave. But instead of letting us go, he said that he won't let us leave until I am happy, because it was apparent that I was unhappy. He was raising his voice, having aggressive body language, and passing the blame off. I have never in my life had someone come and reprimand me for something like that. I felt cornered, threatened, and trapped by the owner. The entire interaction was completely unprofessional and hostile. We were in disbelief about his behavior and hostility. This was the kind of interaction you see on failed restaurant tv shows. I want to point out, that there was never a compliant filed from us. As bad as the service was, we laughed it off. Even when I became instantly sick from spoiled seafood, all we did was state the facts and ask for a manager. It is a really shame that we were so disappointed and can't chalk it up to a "bad day." Clearly this is a problem from the top that can rarely be fixed. read more

We went here on Saturday night with friends and had a wonderful time. For an appetizer we had the cheese platter and French onion soup; both were excellent. I had the salmon for dinner-king salmon for $23 felt like a steal, it was cooked perfectly. It was honestly one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had, and salmon is my favorite food and i am very, very picky. I was very impressed. Our friends had the coconut shrimp and prawns and both said theirs was excellent too . My husband had the ribeye for $35 and it was good but did not seem as good as the other dishes and was cooked a bit unevenly. For dessert we had the bread pudding, which was excellent, and the brownie Sunday which was very underwhelming. We loved the atmosphere and we felt the prices were very fair . Last year we ate at Blackbird restaurant in Manzania and we preferred Pacific House; we would definitely go back! read more

Pleasantly surprised to find a modern upscale place in Tillamook. It was Friday night and it was a little crowded, I was told that drinks were something to look forward to. I was disappointed, they all were lacking something. Wine menu was weak, martini way to sweet, coffee drink had no cream (how does that happen). Upside appetizers were good, coconut shrimp and beet tarte were good. Goat cheese on the tarte was a little scarce.dinner was good, miso black cod and seafood linguine are worth going back for. Moved to town recently and was attending the "Sip and Shop" downtown to check out the downtown now that the worst of the construction is over.... Walking by the restaurant it was the music that we heard that made us look in. Then we checked the menu on the window and decided it looked like a great place to go in and relax and have a light bite. We weren't sure which entrance to come into and apparently came in the wrong entrance and had to wait a little bit, felt awkward. But that was the only hiccup. The space is amazing love the high ceilings and the exposed brick. Liked the horizontal stations /bar/ kitchen separating the restaurant. The servers bringing the bread and water waited on us seamlessly. That herb bread with olive oil and vinegar was awesome and fresh. We chose to have a mixed cocktail and we will do that again they were good. if you are a fan of bloody Mary's I saw one go by to another table and it looked awesome we will try that next time. The wait time for dinner didn't seem bad and the food looked and tasted great .... prices were fair. We ate once in the old location and this really feels roomie, upscale and elegant. A nice addition to downtown Tillamook .... which by the way is looking awesome! read more

As strange as it seems it can be very difficult to find good seafood in Tillamook! If you are looking for The Best Clam Chowder and Oyster Stew on the entire coast, then this is the place! This is NOT a clam strip basket greasy spoon rather an upscale we do seafood correctly place! Hand crafted Cocktails and 5-Star Service! I'm sorry! I think that they think they're a lot better than they actually are! My husband and I went to dinner with his brother and sister-in-law from Eugene for their anniversary and it really wasn't a good experience. It took over an hour to get our food and it wasn't worth the wait! My halibut fish and chips was overcooked and chewy (although the quality of the halibut was good). My husbands scallops were burnt and chewy and there were only 3 with a very small dollop of potatoes for which he paid nearly $30. It looked more like an appetizer. My sister-in-law sent her steak back twice and they still didn't get it right, so she didn't get to eat at all! My brother-in-law did like his salmon,though. Our waiter was friendly and thoughtful, but I have to say he was the only good thing out of the whole experience! I would NOT recommend this restaurant. read more

I have eaten here for lunch 4 times now. Each time I really enjoyed it. It's nice to have a somewhat upscale place in Tillamook. They give you some bread and dipping oil pretty much right away to munch on and the decor is classy. The food is the right sized and really well priced. I will be coming back here again. read more
