I'd definitely agree the calamari is good though the sauce served with it is just ok. Service was slower than I expected given how empty the restaurant was. I think this is probably a better bet for a nice dinner read more

We decided to try out a new restaurant tonight and were looking forward to Pacific. It's Thursday, so we didn't anticipate it being too busy (several tables and booths were empty). We were seated right in the center of the restaurant, where multiple servers walked by, with our water and bread. Immediately after sitting down, a waitress approached us with another table's order - I informed her that she had the wrong table and that no one had come to take our order yet. Unfortunately, no one EVER came to take our order. Instead, we were ignored for over 35 minutes by every server who walked by our table before we decided to leave. This is really disappointing, as we are growing tired of our usual restaurants and were excited to try Pacific. read more

We went there for the oyster salad,but they were out of oysters. The calamari my husband had was a very small portion. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was the worst Reuben I have ever had. They really need to take the picture off their website because it was nothing like it. The corn beef was thin and crisp and maybe two slices at most with about a teaspoon of sauerkraut. Very disappointed. Extremely expensive for the quality of food offered. I was appalled to find a restaurant on the coast uses Atlantic farm raised salmon instead of wild caught. $19 for a salmon furikake salad with farm raised salmon. I had them substitute halibut and was charged $28. They try to have several upscale dishes but totally miss the mark on flavors and seasonings. They do have beautiful presentation but it reminds me of buying pretty red tomatoes with no flavor. Great place to dine if you have blunted tastebuds or don't care about quality of ingredients. read more

My Ribeye was good I just dont like everything piled on top of everything. Mashed potatoes, vegetables and Ribeye needs to be separated

We went to the Pacific Restaurant with 2 other couples. We were a little confused by the seating arrangement reuired for happy hour, but once we got past that, everything was positive! Service, by the bartender, was excellent. HH offers smaller portions for a smaller charge. Great idea! We chose several dishes and shared. The calamari was OUTSTANDING! The $1.95 slider was no simple sandwich, it was a generous full sandwich! Yummy! The small plate of beef was exceptionally delicious! Crab cake was tasty!. Our advise: go for happy hour, sit in the right area, order several plates to share and ENJO!!! It's now our favorite restaurant in Tillamook! read more

Was not impressed by the service end of the restaurant, definitely needs some improvement if it wants to remain viable. We ate there on a week day evening without a crowd and had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to receive our small appetizers from the chef. The food was ok but nothing that wowed us. Probably won't be returning but hope the community can keep this restaurant since Tillamook does not have enough fine dining. read more

Great cocktails and wine to go along with some wonderful salmon and black cod. We would have spent double in portland.

First time dining. Food was wonderful. I had crab ravioli and hubby had risotto...there was a keyboard/guitar player while we enjoyed dinner on a Friday night, who was great. Would definitely recommend dining here. Great atmosphere. read more

Were there late Saturday, bar menu only, the pork belly salad is just awesome, as was the jalapeno/cucumber margarita, the salad under the shrimp was again awesome while the shrimp were mostly tasteless and the under breading gummy. Staff is great!!! Thanks for the service.... read more

Pretty poor management. Made a special trip to stop by the restaurant on a Friday to make reservations for my wife's birthday on Saturday for 5 people, of which 3 were from out of town. No problem with the reservation from the lady I talked with. Then next day 4 hours before dinner I got a call saying they were closing the restaurant because they had two catering events! Seems like you would know about these events at least a week in advance and would have it posted that you would be closed. With this type of management I don't think this place will be open next summer. read more

I wish there was a way to review each aspect of this restaurant's business....food quality, service, ambiance, etc. However, there's only one, overall, so I am forced to give it just two stars. The scene was a birthday dinner for one of our friends. Reservations were made, and there were a total of 15 people at our table - 7 couples plus one individuals. We asked if they would do separate checks and they readily agreed. And we understand that this can be a burden on the staff when there is such a large crowd. The menu stated that a 20% gratuity would be added in the case of parties of 6 or more. Also, we understood, and none of us had a problem with that. The food was good, service was good, no complaints about any of that. The checks arrive and we realized that the gratuity added was exactly the same amount on each check. So they took the total of all of our meals and drinks, added it together, divided by 8 and added that amount to each check. As you might imagine, there were some checks that were considerably larger than others...some people ordered wine, some had no alcohol at all. Some people ordered rather expensive entrees, other, such as the single person in our group, ordered only a side salad and soup, plus one beer. And as an example, that person's food and beverage bill came to about $25, but added onto the check was the same gratuity that the rest of us were charged, making the gratuity percentage that person was charged about 50%. When she drew the wait staff's attention to this, they said, "The menu clearly states that in large parties a 20% gratuity will be charged". The waitress either didn't know or chose to ignore the massive inequity of this method of apportionment of the gratuity. This is a relatively new restaurant, and I'm certain that they have computerized cash registers that would allow the 20% gratuity to be added to the individual checks. Bottom line....several in our party indicated they will never go back to this place. And that's a shame, because everything else, even the difficult things like getting ALL the meals served at the same time to such a large party were done and done well. This small, mechanical thing being so poorly executed left a bad taste in our mouths, even when the meals were delicious. read more

It was so appealing just driving by that we had to stop. A very pleasant dining room, open, modern. Our waitress was very helpful and charming. She took time to answer questions about the food and the restaurant itself. Presentation was great and the food was excellent. read more

The location was a little beat up due to the construction, but the restaurant was pristine. The atmosphere and decor were modern, relaxing and stylish. Free bread was given with an olive oil balsamic to dip into. The bread was good l, but a little bready. I ordered the crab ravioli, I found it to be a little bland for my taste. The brownie desert I ordered was good but the caramel overpowered the chocolate flavor of the brownie. My wife ordered the heron and it was absolutely fantastic! The bread pudding was good but there was far too much sauce. Overall the pacific restaurant is a good restaurant and a much needed addition to Tillamooks run down, old downtown. read more

We had an amazing dinner last night. The ambiance is amazing and the food excellent. The owner waited on us and showed true Aloha spirit! After dealing with the torn up downtown, it was a true oasis. We will definitely be back!! read more

We thought this restaurant is making a good effort, but my review is lowered because of the meal that I received. My companions may have had better meals. One of my companions said his hamburger was good, though it came with no sauce, and he had to ask for ketchup and thought they'd give him mayo too. Nope. I ordered the teriyaki chicken. This consisted of braised chicken thighs, cut up and soaked in a very sweet and thick teriyaki sauce. That was overpowering. I could finish only part of it. I would have called this BBQ chicken instead. I expected that the macaroni would have been one of the lighter ways of making it, but its dressing too was thick and heavy. I couldn't finish that either. Curiously, this starch portion was served with basmati rice, another starch, though it had a nice nutty flavor that I liked. I usually trust the restaurant to get it right on the starch vs meat proportions, but the chef obviously hadn't thought this one through. Unfortunately, the server seemed somewhat officious and didn't notice that I hadn't eaten much: she wasn't someone to whom I would complain while trying to enjoy a meal with friends. On the definitely positive side, we appreciated the interior setting and decor, and the effort to have good visual presentation of their dishes. read more

First I must say this is a very nice restaurant for Tillamook, inviting and modern. Service was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately the food was not very good. I met a client for a business lunch and though this would be a nice choice. Being on the Coast I though fish was in order. I asked the server to help me choose between Crab Cakes and Fish/Chips. Unequivocally he said Fish/Chips. My concern with F/C is there is often too much coating and not enough fish. He said not the case with theirs ! The coating was a problem not that there was too much but it was bland and had a terrible texture. The fish inside was even worse. It was gray, dry and smelled fishy. Obviously not fresh and of poor quality. I felt bad because the person I took to lunch ordered the same thing. To me it seemed like we were eating cat food. On a good note the fries were good. I may just have ordered the wrong thing. Bottom line do not order the f/c here. Go to one of the fish stands in town that has a better quality. Sorry for the bad review because it is a good venue, but they can do better on the quality of fish for $17 bucks. read more
