This was my first visit to the new Bell Rd location at 59th Ave. The last time I went, they were at Bell Rd. and 83rd Ave. This place is much better. The interior is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. They were fairly busy as it was Christmas Eve. The selections were abundant. My girlfriend and I sampled quite a few of the dishes. I didn't care for the broiled fish and she didn't care for the Spring Rolls. But, everything else we tried was excellent. The Coconut Shrimp was a standout for both of us. As it was dinner, they had crab legs available, which I wasn't interested in, but many were. One thing I noticed was that when fresh crab legs were brought out, one lady loaded 2 plates full and walked away leaving only a few legs for the other people in line. Very rude and the management should figure out a way to stop that type of hoarding. Perhaps the crab legs should be served. Anyway, we were very pleased and we'll be back. read more

Pacific Seafood Buffet does not disappoint. So far, this is the best Asian buffet that I have gone to in greater phoenix. I tried their nigiri sushi. I like the maguro, hamachi and their squid was decent. Their rolls are okay. I didn't like the shrimp tempura stuffing, it felt soggy and stale. The best in that section was the marinated whole baby octopus. They were fun to eat and well seasoned. We also enjoyed something that looked like fried scallops, not quite sure. The cold tofu with seaweed was also cool, nice and smooth and well dressed. The miso soup was okay. The size of the tofu was a little clunky, but I am picking on minutia. I loved the mild fish ball soup with the stuffed fish balls. I am a total fan. I didn't try any of the other soups. On the grilled meats, I enjoyed the kalbi short ribs and grilled pork on a stick. Try the Hunan chicken. The lo mein was standard. The green beans were not wilted enough. The beehoon noodles was a nice addition. I did not try the fried rice. I did not try the Mongolian barbecue. I was disappointed that they did not have more savory dishes on the dim sum front. They had different kinds of sweet buns stuffed with sesame paste, red bean, taro, sweet potato. They had a siew mai, but I was disappointed they did not have a char siu pao. They surprised me with the fong zhao or braised chicken's feet. I loved, loved, loved the sauteed clams with garlic and chives. Yum! Dessert were meh looking, so I stuck with the sweet steamed buns. Tip: Lunch prices are $11. Dinner prices are $18. I know there is probably more seafood at night, but there were tonnes of options during the day. read more

After much delay due to covid restrictions, the new buffet finally opened in the commercial plaza on the southwest corner of Bell Rd and 59th Avenue. My friend and I went on Easter Sunday, the 2nd day of the Grand Opening weekend. Like it's predecessor in the Arrowhead Mall area, this one is very spacious and has lots of parking. This iteration of the business, though, has a different dining area layout and is much brighter and more modernly appointed, and obviously everything is new. The food is good - pretty similar to its former incarnation further west, with the usual Chines buffet favorites but with emphasis on seafood: my friend and I feasted on squid, different preparations of shrimp, ginger-poached whitefish, fresh oysters, crab legs, mussels and crayfish, manila clams, and various kinds of sushi. There was also a grilled-food area with grilled fish and pork preparations, and next to that is a Mongolian-grill area where you choose your ingredients and sauce for the cook to prepare. This is not fine dining but for a buffet this was 5 stars. We went for a late lunch around 2:30. Everything looked to be in very good condition and clean. Buffet tables were full and hot and kept that way throughout our meal. Never had to wait. Selection was pretty broad but common for these kinds of buffets. We came here on a Saturday nite at 5 pm. There was a wide selection of food. The crab legs were tasteless and hard to find since the food tray was always empty. We had the smaller deep fried crab legs but those had like no meat it them at all. We skipped the sushi and fruit section since it was unappealing. Some of the food looked like it had been sitting awhile and dried up looking. The individual ice cream and sherbet desert cups were good. Our server was friendly and attentive. She gave us a pile of napkins like 1" high. The restaurant was clean. The restaurant bill is paid after you eat probably with the notion for increased tip amount. Food is nice. The place is great. A few things that bother me though, there's a man that comes here nearly every week and binge eats large amounts of food, talking far more than anything I've seen before. He uses this place for his "mukbangs" and laughs about how he "robs" the place. He burps out loud and shoves food in his face using his bare hands and then goes to get more food with the same dirty hands he licks all over, most times not even wiping his hands before touching the buffet utensils. He's overly sexual while live streaming in this, what I thought was, family friendly establishment. He takes the live stream into the restroom with him to smoke marijuana on the toilet. Pregnancy cravings has been satisfied!!! I wanted nothing but snow crabs my whole pregnancy and going elsewhere will cost me a ton! We went to dine for our Christmas dinner with my family and everyone found a dish they loved! I went for a little bit of everything but mostly snow crabs which they refilled a ton and also veggies! They even have icecream bar and a dessert bar to end the night. I think it was $20 per person for that holiday dinner. Our server was prompt and always getting the empty plates and super nice! She entertained our toddler as well I'm glad it wasn't busy at all. You can call ahead to reserve a table or to be put on the list for bigger parties. We were here sometime last week and were not disappointed. Everyone in the group (5) was satisfied. There's ample selection and the food was really good (at least what everyone in our group tried). Our waitress was truly attentive and hence gave her a "nice" tip. The place is definitely spacious and the ambiance definitely fits the restaurant. And in terms of hygiene, we can only resort to judging cleanliness by looks (the dining area and especially the restrooms) and so far, so good... I hope they keep it up all throughout. We went back for the second time before heading back home to California. I am sure we will come back next time we visit. read more

My spouse and I just so happened to be driving by this place when she pointed it out and heard good things about it. Apparently the place is suppose to have unlimited crab legs. I thought "no way that's too good to be true" and I was right. The buffet experience was about as regular as any other buffet. The customer service was excellent so I can't complain about that but man we really only came for the crab legs but turns out they didn't have any and who knows when they'll ever have any. Supposedly when they do have them it's first come first serve and good luck! I suggest putting out a sign or something letting people know if they'll have any crab that day or not. read more

The restaurant looked clean. There were many food items to choose from. I loved the huge prawns and soft shell crab. Everything was delicious. My husband doesn't like Chinese food so he had ribs, corn on cob, fries and desserts, and he liked it. I hate jello, but the coffee jello topped with cream was very good. First time here. We stopped in during the week for lunch. Wow! Ten dollars for an all you can eat buffet up until 4pm. The interior is nice enough with booths and tables available. The carpet is a bit worn and the restaurant feels like it needs some renovation. Service was good. We were greeted and taken to a table right away. A server came by and took our drink order then off to check out the numerous items on the buffet! They have everything and then some! There is seriously too many things to try on one visit. Quite a selection with a sushi bar and habachi grill. There is a salad bar, soups, desert bar and an area with hard ice cream. Wish there were more labels for everything so we knew what we were eating. Good to go when you want to try some new things or pig out on old favorites! read more

The choices of buffet items were abundance - shrimp, crab, fish, clams, king crab legs, beef, pork, chicken, etc. They all were prepared fresh. They also had the sushi bar. The servers were very busy in taking our plates and refilling our drinks. The dessert bar was stocked with the usual fruits and cakes - watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, pony, peaches, varieties of cakes, and of course, ice cream. I like the green tea favor ice cream!
