As a two time former customer, albeit years ago yesterday via Yelp I reached out to C&C and after timely and relevant dialogue was told to make a cardboard template and bring in the glass I wanted cut. The receptionist was friendly and thorough and said she have to have someone else verify if the glass I had could be cut. Moments later a tall, bald, most importantly rude gentleman asked what my cardboard cut out was. I replied that it was a template that I was told to bring in. As we were walking out of the lobby I said the measurements were also written down. He said the template edges weren't clean enough and he couldn't cut based on it. Both my wife and I sensed the A-hole on display. It was tone, body language and word choice. So I said never mind as I don't want to waste anyone's time. Mind you, he never saw the glass and all I wanted to know was whether it could be cut down. Bottom line, I didn't get any question answered. Me being in my late 50's means I refuse to give $ to any business that treats customers like crap. The only good to come of my time at C&C was a free notepad and pen.

If I had more than one screen to fix, perhaps I would've opted for the mobile companies. But, since I'm a fan of saving as much money as I can, I went here instead. The shop is near the corner of Palm Ave. and 16th St. There was plenty of street parking in front of the store when I went in at around 10 on a Friday morning. I walked in and there was an associate helping another customer. She acknowledged me and said she would be with me shortly. After a few minutes, she finished up with her customer and asked how she could help me. I showed her my window frame. She took measurements and quoted me a price. I only paid about a third of what the mobile companies wanted. She gave me a receipt and said that it would be ready in 1-3 days. I was in no hurry, so I was fine with that. I went on with my day and went home, but they ended up calling me at 2:30pm to say it was ready! Great service, and great price.

Alex then rescheduled for today and stated he would be here between 11am-12pm and that the window replacement was already ordered/in their possession. I contacted him a little after 12pm- no answer. Then again at 12:30pm, he answered and told me they would be here in 2 hours. It is now 7pm, no one showed up and Alex did not even have the decency to contact me to inform me/cancel. I would also like to make it known that after they cancelled the first time, I had informed Alex that I am 36 weeks pregnant and trying to get this fixed before the baby comes. He obviously does not care since my husband and I now have wasted two different days waiting for them to come fix it and will now have to find someone else (although technically their team already took up 4 days of our time- one for a consultation/get an estimate, two to measure the area, and two no-shows on their end).
