I was expecting a very unpleasant move! but because of my moving team Milano and Milan it was better than I could have ever hoped for! they wrapped up my solid wood bedroom set including queen sized mattress and box springs so no rain damage!They worked quickly and efficiently in the heavy rain. Not only did they have to move me out of my living quarters but they had to move my smaller storage stuff into my bigger storage unit! All the while it's raining! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I found these guys to help my friend move. Over $600 to move small one bedroom apartment from Solana Beach to Calsbad ? That's too much in compare with 3 hours of work promised. They have arrived at 8:15. Did not start until they have a meeting with their team to come up with a game plan ( we've being charged for this time). What kind of plan for moving a small unit little over 500 square fit? He had everything broken down and ready to be moved. They stated they need to wrap- it ok - cool whatever. We on the way to the new place which is 15 min away. They took a wrong turn or incorrect address which added on another 15 min to there's time. We've tried to argue about the time - they gave us only 15 min . We've paid because we had to complete this nightmare and move on. Moving is already stressful and they just added to it . I am very disappointed in this service I had told them to do three hours and do the big items and they showed up with the small truck which I was shocked about because of the fact that we were moving so much stuff in there was stuff all in the truck. Then they spent the first 20 minutes cleaning the truck out to make room for everything they were able to fit a lot of stuff in this tiny truck that I was really surprised about the way they stacked everything that part was pretty impressive but otherwise I was very disappointed because they even left stuff in the garage that was clearly supposed to go in the house and luckily I noticed some of it before they left after charging me for five hours over $700 and then I made them move the dressers that were very heavy into the house otherwise we would've been not able to move them! There's still a lot of stuff in the garage that was supposed to go in the house and I still haven't even had a chance to move which is the reason we hired them so I'm very frustrated and they wouldn't give me a receipt when I asked for one that I still haven't gotten a receipt! read more

Wow, I'm so exhausted after my move with Packing Bees I don't even know where to begin. To start, the three men sent over were kind but the owner has no idea what he is throwing at these poor guys. I made it very clear I live in a high rise with small children and we have an elevator maximum usage of 4 hours, they used it for over 6 hours after breaking every single rule in the building to which I'm still trying to talk them out of the second fine issued to me. The first fine was for overuse of the elevator which Alex kindly refunded back to me because the move took FOREVER. He told me on the phone they would help move things and pack things, I'd have as many wardrobe boxes as needed, and that three guys would be sufficient. I made it clear that I read 4 guys would take care of a place my size but he insisted on 3 even after telling him my office in my home is a bedroom. Long story short, I asked someone to come and help me and he was basically the fourth mover, so horrible that someone in my intimate circle had to help the movers move my things and we had to go back numerous times with our cars because they couldn't fit my full load in their truck. It didn't matter how many times I repeated myself nothing registered to anyone that day. I had no intention of writing a review but every time I open a box it looks like it's been shaken and things were thrown into my closet, a candle shoved into my drawer that broke my beautiful dresser drawer, they broke a $300 lamp, and a metal stand. I STILL tipped them well because they were sweating and doing so much hard work all day, I wish they understood they needed one more person and this should've never been put on them. My Yelp messages are so clear with Alex and he tried to make things right by refunding me for the elevator overage but I feel so taken advantage of, I worry about others using this company. read more

Extremely Careful, Great Attitude, & Enthusiastic. That about sums up my experience with movers Esa and Nathan, who helped me uncrate, unpack, and carefully carry in a massive glass and metal display case. This was a very fragile item, and I never felt like they were rushing the process. It really is great when you deal with folks that are not only capable, but carry themselves with a great attitude like these young men did. Huge kudos to them. Aside from the great help moving, this was all requested and done on less than 24 hours notice -- on a Saturday! Unbelievable and impressive. I found Packing Bees to be the best movers I have used so far. Main things: - Reasonable pricing - Fair on resolving issues - No lost or damaged items Lastly, but most importantly, The team of six we had worked incredibly hard throughout the day.
