His professionalism and attention to detail gave us confidence in their team from the jump. On moving day, we ran into every obstacle imaginable. The garage in our high-rise, which had never malfunctioned in all our time living there, chose moving day to break--setting us back an hour. Then, the service elevator we had reserved was out of order, forcing us to share a general-use elevator with the entire building, causing even more delays. To top it off, traffic was a nightmare, and it poured rain throughout the move. Despite all of this, the Pack Man crew handled everything like absolute pros. BEST MOVING COMPANY EVER! Competitive straightforward pricing so I knew exactly what I was paying for. None of those random last minute charges that get thrown on you that you never knew you would be getting charged. They gave me a one hour window for when they would arrive, 8am-9am. They were there by 8:15am. They were very careful with my belongings, and I would add that I mentioned a few of my items that were extremely important to have extra special care. They wrapped and packed those items so carefully I had no fears whatsoever. My new place has a weird spiral staircase up to the loft that I was actually stressing about how they would even get the furniture up to. They might as well have been magicians based on how they got them up there. Eddy, Danny, and Tamy were my guys that moved everything and they were fantastic. There were a few times I was apologetic about how heavy they were and they kept saying... No need... it's our job to do it. At my new place they put everything exactly where I wanted it including adjusting my rugs to where I wanted them based around furniture. Basically like interior decorators. They wore covers on their shoes when they had to step on carpets. Lastly, I'd add that I needed some of my stuff put in a storage unit. We had stored everything in pods while the damage was getting repaired and we found Packman moving through a Friend and couldn't be happier with their service. We received a team of four to help with this project. They were able to reassemble all of the desks and put the furniture where we wanted them. Chris and his team moved me and my mom from San Diego to Palm Springs on the SAME DAY!! They were on time and ready to go. Asked me to step aside and just let them do their thing. Hiccup...the truck broke a belt on the way out. But guess what...Chris jumped on it. I recently hired Packman Moving for a Sunday move from my two-bedroom apartment to a townhouse with four flights of stairs, and I was really impressed. The crew worked hard to move everything quickly, carefully, and professionally in just four and a half hours. Climbing all those stairs was tough, but they never complained and stayed positive the whole time. What really impressed me was their customer service after the move. A couple of my things were damaged, but when I contacted the owners (Chris & Jose), they got back to me right away and made it right that same day by paying to replace them. Sammy, Oscar, and Leon did a fantastic job with my move from San Diego to Orange County. They were incredibly hard workers who didn't waste a single minute and handled all of my belongings with the utmost care. The company offers a nice incentive of $10 off per hour if paid by cash, which I appreciated. However, there is some room for improvement on the administrative side regarding onsite paperwork. A receipt should be provided immediately upon receiving cash payment, rather than making the customer wait. Thankfully, the office did email a full breakdown within an hour, but getting a physical or digital receipt right at the time of payment would offer better peace of mind. I highly recommend the moving crew, but the office should sharpen up their instant receipt process for cash transactions. read more

If you are looking for a fantastic moving company the search is over! I looked at a couple of other companies and they had really slow response time or would not get back to me at all. I got a same day response and quote and I even called back to make changes. They were super attentive and understanding. The service and the speed was amazing. They really take great care of all your items and even bring any extra boxes in case you need to pack smaller items that you had yet to pack. They did a wonderful job even going as far as removing their shoes to maintain our carpet clean since there was recent rain. I had a great experience with Packman Movers. The booking process was easy, and the initial quote was pretty close to what I ended up paying. I mainly moved furniture and needed everything professionally wrapped and packed. The packing service did increase the price a bit--about $50--but that amount was already covered in the deposit, so there were no surprises.
