    Carne asada tacos

Worlds best San Diego burritos! We've came here twice now and I can attest that it is pretty close to what San Diego has. We've gotten the carne asada burrito, carne asada super nachos, carne asada tacos. The burrito had pico de gallo in it which was good! The flavor hits so different from other Mexican restaurants. The tacos were HUGE! Tortillas could've been cooked a little longer but was still good. Moving onto the nachos...just thinking about it makes me drool! Seriously one of the best I've ever had. I NEVER finish super nachos anywhere. I hardly can eat half, but Pacos? I've ate the entire thing, twice. Fat kid status? Totally! Felt sick after? Yes but every bite was worth it. The red sauce is fire!!! It's got a really good kick and is so good. The avocado sauce is good as well has a bit of a kick. The green sauce however wasn't that great. Hardly any flavor. Service was fast but the guy did have a hard time understanding us as he didn't really speak English so we had to go back and forth on how much the total was. We did have to go in to get the red sauce. He gave us the green sauce instead. The first time we went, we didn't expect it to be inside a gas station. There is a drive through with full menu. I will definitely be back. I really want to try the chilaquiles.

This place was just ok. I got 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, and the sauce was too sweet for me with a hint of cinnamon. I prefer savory/spicy sauces. The rolled tacos were just ok. They had a plastic taste to them, and weren't as crunchy as we had hoped. The green sauce was great!

Lunch today was amazing! We have been through the drive-thru three times in 6 days. Love the Carne Asada tacos! Green sauce is delicious!

My daughter loves the breakfast steak burrito from this place. I like them as well. These burritos are gigantic and tasteful. Very filling and served very hot with a variety of salsa. I have never been inside this location that shared space with the gas station. Instead I order using the drive thru and take it home, and by the time I arrive, it is still surprisingly hot. The cashier is nice. Paco's Tacos is a hole in the wall, an affordable satisfying gem.

Step inside and you will find a beautifully decorated space with an open kitchen greeting you at the entrance and a staff that is genuinely enthusiastic about the food they are serving. Ocotillo specializes in the cuisine of Sonora, Mexico, a region known for bold meat and seafood dishes. They also offer a daily brunch menu that is worth planning your weekend around. We ordered the tres leches pancakes, a triple stack that delivers exactly what the name promises. Bathed in a three milk mixture and topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, moist but not to sweet. The Sonorense combination was equally impressive. Arrachera steak strips, chilaquiles made with poblano chile, a tamal de elote, and two eggs. The arrachera was excellent and the chilaquiles were crispy, which is exactly how they should be and not something every kitchen gets right. The menu is long enough that choosing something different next time will be a genuine challenge. Omelettes, chilaquiles, brioches, and other specialties give you plenty of reasons to return. We are already looking forward to exploring the lunch and dinner menu. Slightly more expensive than a standard breakfast spot, but the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients justify every dollar. Five stars without hesitation.

Wife ordered the Birria quesadillas and the portion was huge. There were delicious and for that price, such a steal. I ordered the carne asada plate and absolutely loved it. The beef was tender, rice and beans were amazing and the piece of grilled queso fresco they add to the plate is top notch. The two salsas that come with each dish are amazing too. Red salsa super spicy and delicious and the green one was super fresh. I'll be coming back here soon, for sure.

I've been curious to try it since someone described it to me as "a cheaper and just as delicious Sol Agave." It was cheaper and it was as delicious but the dishes lack the novelty that sol agave has. Our favorite things we tried on the menu: - Baja fish tacos - Birria tacos (the salsa that comes with these had a great toasted deep flavor) The inside is clean and looks like a typical sit down restaurant - nothing to note here. The service was super kind but they were sorely understaffed. There was only 1 lady attending to about 7 different groups, I felt bad for her.
