It is not all perfect at Paco's but they make some wicked good street style tacos. Their carne asada, carnitas, and even the cabeza meats were delicious. Now the fish burrito...well, the fish was good and crispy but it had way too much lettuce and not enough fish. I had too many bites of just lettuce. I got a chicken quesadilla and the cheese tasted so fake and slimy. I barley ate any of it. I also asked for a tres leches 3 times and I didn't get it. Wow..so disappointing. There was no flavor at all in their meat. It also had a weird aftertaste. Even their homemade salsas were bland. They were also almost empty. The spicy salsa was complete gone. There were only around 6 small tables inside and they were all super dirty. I dont think Im coming back here unless they improve their food and service. read more

i come here regularly and i almost never have a problem. the food is amazing, the employees are nice, and i get my food pretty quick. it occasionally takes a bit longer to get my food but it never takes more than 10 minutes. but today i ordered my food and when i got the the window, i sat there for 20 minutes. i saw nobody through the window and nobody even came to take my payment. i honked and knocked on the window to try to get anyone's attention, but nothing. i didn't have unlimited time on my hands so i left. not sure if that's a one time thing or not, but they need to fix that or i might not go there again read more

Saw the reviews on Yelp and decided to grab quick lunch. Menu was extensive and I said to guy behind the counter, "I would like a chicken burrito with some rice and beans on the side. Which number will that be?" He said, number 22. I said, can you do it chicken (it was Carne Asada (beef)? He said, yes. I ordered number 22 with chicken. When my order came, it was beef. I asked him that I ordered chicken and it's beef. He said, but number 22 is Carne Asada. It was really weird. After going back and forth couple of times, he said that he didn't understand me. Interesting as I said chicken at least 3 times. How can you work in a restaurant and not understand the meaning of the word chicken? For a hole-in-the-wall Mexican fast food joint, Paco's knocks it out of the park. If you've ever been to a Beto's in Utah, you'll feel at home the moment you step up to the counter and look at the menu. There are many items which are very similar--if not downright identical--and there is a lot of variety. However, the food here seems to be higher quality (for example, there is virtually no gristle in their carne asada, a claim Beto's cannot make). To top it off, the prices here are a bit better than the aforementioned competition. What's not to love? So far, I have been very pleased here on every visit. read more

Paco's tacos really surprised me. I tried it thinking it was going to be like a Beto's. I ordered the chicken burrito with rice, beans, and a drink. Total was around 6.50. Looking at everything it has that Beto's feel, but the food is was better. They chicken was very flavorful with just the right amount of onion and peppers. We pulled up to Paco's Tacos tonight and looked at the place, asking ourselves, "Do we really want to eat in a gas station?" Turns out that the answer was, "Yes. Yes we do." My carne asada burrito was pretty tasty, especially with the limes and salsa that you can add from the salsa bar. My wife's pork tamales were really good too. The chicken tacos were a hit with our kids, but the beef tacos needed quite a bit of spicing up. Meh! The food was good quality, but super bland. I think they must have lost their salt shaker in the kitchen because NOTHING was seasoned. There was no spice of any kind. Even their salsa (of which they had exactly one bottle each of red or green) was totally bland, and had zero heat. I had combo plate #24 - one crunchy beef taco, and one sope, which is a fried homemade thick corn tortilla with beans, shredded beef, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. Again, the food is great quality. They just need to learn how to flavor/season everything! Just a warning, if you eat here, apply salt to the food, and BYOS (bring your own sauce!). ***UPDATE 1/27/16*** I just ordered a Chorizo breakfast burrito, and WOW! It was DELICIOUS! For starters, it was HUGE. It was probably 1 1/2 - 2 pounds, and could easily feed 2 people. It was hot, made fresh to order, with quality ingredients. They don't use frozen hash browns, they use fresh potatoes. They use good quality chorizo too. I asked for salt, and both kinds of salsa on the side, but it was seasoned well to begin with so I didn't need the salt, and didn't use any salsa until I was almost half way into it. Maybe they have a new cook, or perhaps they have addressed some of their seasoning issues. This place is inside the chevron gas station. I ordered the nachos with carne asada. I was a little skeptical because I have never been here and am picky when it comes to my asada. The nachos were really good. They had cheese, meat and sour cream. The only thing that would have made my nachos taste so much better was had I added salsa to them. I thought that they came with them. No biggie, next time I eat here and have the nachos I know where the salsa set up is. This place has a few tables. I've been waiting for this location to open since the beginning of the year. I was happy to see it was open today as I drove by, so I went inside and ordered a Carne Asada, smothered burrito with a side of rice. I was very happy my lunch was prepared quickly, yet not rushed or messed up. The portions are large, you won't go away hungry. The Carne Asada was pretty tasty, seasoned just right! The red sauce was tasty too and had the right amount of heat to my liking. I ordered a side of rice which was very tasty and reminded me of the rice my Mom makes. The Employees were very friendly, and made sure my food was made correctly and to my liking.
