The billing staff is the worst. They don't know how to to do authorization from my insurance and still try to charge me for something my insurance covers. Paul and the other girl are incompetent. I had my insurance authorize all what they ask for and went to make a appointment to start the procedures then Paul says they mess up and put a wrong code for my authorization and they where going to do it again with my insurance and he said they where going to call me for the appointment to start it's been 5 months . I called and now they said I have to go in for another evaluation to do the whole thing all over again cause it's been over 5 months. THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU!!! I heard the receptionist and the Dr talking about traffic being slow and that's when I should have walked out. They took X-rays and then a guy came in to explain that my teeth needed a deep cleaning and I had to pay $800+ Point is I walked out because that is ridiculous I've never paid for a dentist appointment. I tried a different dentist office and did not pay a single dollar. By far, it was the worst dental experience I've ever had! They are very dishonest! My son started his ortho treatment 5 years ago. They told me at the time that insurance won't cover it and that all insurance can do is discount my services from 5k to 2,500. I paid it in full, but I called my insurance after to inquire, and I was told that the dental office never submitted a claim. After many months of me pushing them to submit a claim, they did, and I was reimbursed fully for what I paid. That should've been a red flag, but it was too late. Upon starting the treatment, we were told that the entire treatment is about 2 years, give or take. It has been 5 years, and my son is still wearing his braces. They were milking his visits to try to collect the max from the insurance company. I found that out too late. They charged my insurance monthly even when we were on vacation and did not go for our monthly visits. Now, after 5 years of milking my insurance company, they said that the insurance maxed out and I have to pay monthly out of pocket. They couldn't even give me a timeline of how much longer he would be wearing his braces. They kept blaming my son for not wearing his bands, even though they started giving him the bands 3 years later, that's 1 year after his braces should've came off. On top of all that, they were always over an hour late starting him. They only have ortho on Fridays, and they try to cramp as many people as they can. My son was constantly late for school because of their lack of appropriate scheduling. I can not stress enough how dishonest and unprofessional this dental office is. I have a claim against them with my insurance, and my next stop is a claim with the Dental Board. read more

They are friendly to you until you let them know you have money owed back to you. (Keep all your statements)Always check your insurance statements because after the discounts and your share you might have money back to you, That was my experience. They take their time with handling the situation and don't return calls back to you. They are not transparent and honest with you. You have to be your own advocate with the help of your dental insurance. It's sad that they don't let you know and keep the amount of money owed to you. If I could give a 0 I would! I had an appointment at 11am. I was called in quickly and had my X-rays done. I was taken to a room and told the dentist would be in there shortly. At 1150 I ended up leaving because no one ever came in. I understand sometimes a patient may require more time but at least communicate so I know why it's taking long. Very disappointed. This is in behalf of my mother who doesn't know how to use social media. She came home in tears after her visit to Paddison Dental Group. I haven't seen her like this and explained what TERRIBLE service she got from this place. She's not one to complain nor ever make a big deal but this was really concerning. They were doing a standard cleaning and then proceeded to tell her. "You teeth are REALLY BAD! We gotta go in and do surgery..etc..etc" Talking down on their patient! They didn't even give my mother a choice and kept adding services.. $1,500 LATER! (With INSURANCE) And she came in doing a normal teeth cleaning!!! This dental office is definitely not to be trusted. They lied to my insurance that I had a deep cleaning done when in fact I never did ! I've also recieved a bill from them for antibiotics they alleged my insurance didn't cover . I spoke to my insurance and they said the antibiotics is not in the report so how do I know they really did give me antibiotics for the root canal procedure? They didn't! Dr Parham and his staff are excellent! I have been going to him for 25+ years and the quality of his treatment never changes. Dr Parham is professional, knowledgeable and experienced in all types of dentistry. Eight years ago, I chose to have implants, and Dr Parham was patience, kind and very detailed in explaining the entire procedure. The office mgr. Paul provided a treatment plan with all costs included. My follow up care has been excellent and no matter how busy, Dr. Parham ALWAYS has time to listen, talk and calm my fears. I was treated very rudely when I was last at this dental office. I have an appointment on 01/07/2022 that I will not be going to due to the way I was treated. I called the office and let the woman that answers the phone that I was canceling and why I was canceling. She simply said fine. I pointed out that I just told her that I didn't appreciate how I was treated and that the least she could do is say she is sorry and ask how they could try to make it better. Recently went in as unfortunately our son is still doing their ortho services and the orthodontist they have, is the RUDEST and unprofessonial person I have ever associated with. I know dental offices always try to upsell you on stuff and that's normal. This is the one dental office that won't take no for an answer. I just wanted my teeth cleaned but I needed over 2K of dental work first? We could've worked on things but they went straight to the high price stuff and NEVER GAVE ME A TEETH CLEANING! Please don't go here. This office takes advantage of patients who use Medi cal. I needed a tooth pulled and they told me it was $185, I missed a day of work just for them to tell me a service that I knew was covered by Medi cal was going to be $185. I went to another dentist that accepted Medi cal and the tooth removal was 100% covered by my insurance. They also told me I needed a deep cleaning that was around $1000+ and then ended up giving me the cleaning for "free?" I required extensive dental work & Dr Parnham went above and beyond to give me the best care possible. He was extremely patient and gentle with me; always making sure I understood every step of my treatment and procedure. As another reviewer said, this place lies and charges you more. They tried charging me more for a root canal saying that my insurance didn't cover all of it and asked me to leave a 100$ deposit just to get the appointment scheduled. Of course I called my insurance and it turns out they do cover root canals so I went back and got my 100$ deposit back and never went back again. My insurance helped locate another dentist office and set up an appointment to have my root canal taken care of. Not sure how dentists like these are still operating. Do not come here read more

Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally got the nerve to go to a dentist again and had to have the root canal redone because the doctor at Paddison Dental didn't do a thorough enough job. I paid twice for their damn mistakes. I don't think I made it clear enough that my face was BURNED during a root canal I had here, and because I was so scared after that, I never returned to get the permanent crown on that tooth. I had a temporary crown on for years until it fell off. My new dentist had to fix the mess they left behind and they technically owe me money because I paid for work I didn't even have done. DON'T GO HERE THEY SUCK. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE*** I'm also one of those people that really does not enjoy writing negative reviews. But in this case, my experience here was so bad that I want to warn everyone about going here. I have severe anxiety and a horrible fear of the dentist in general. That in itself is mostly a personal issue, but after going here to have some work done, it made me avoid dentists for a long time. The receptionist Paul is a creep, and I remember being charged over $2000 for dental work even WITH my insurance. I guess at the time I was too young and naive to realize that it sounded way too expensive. I got a root canal done by a female dentist (don't remember her name), but never finished it because she burned my lip severely with God knows what. I remember a lighter being used near my mouth and because I was numb, I didn't feel it but OH did I see it when I left. The female doctor even said herself "Oh my god! Did I burn you?" She left the room and came back saying "oh no you probably bit yourself!" Right, that's why my lip had turned white, was peeling, swelling and took over a week to heal. No one seemed apologetic after that happened, and me being too chicken I just never went back but had my money taken for work I never had done. I went in for my wisdom teeth extraction which is free with medi-cal, but they told me I needed to do all this other stuff first in order to get the surgery, which came out to nearly $2k. They said I was not able to have surgery until I took care of everything first. I was advised by someone in the dental field that was wrong, guess what? It was. I got my surgery without having to take care of my supposed "health threatening infection" and it went fine. Also they did 6 fillings at once. I didnt know that was a crazy thing to do.. Turns out I showed up to an empty lobby before any of the front office attendants and most of their staff. After a half hour wait I was finally helped, I filled out the new patient information and was set. By 10:30 I was finally being seen. They took my x-rays checked my teeth and told me it was bad. The dentist came in grabbed a camera to check my teeth in greater detail, observed my main concern and area of pain for no more than 20 seconds and focused a full 3 minutes on everything else. After that a so called "professional" ( I didnt even bother to remember this balding mans name) escorted me to a small office in the back and went over my insurance and financial status in accordance to treatments. The whole time that this man is talking down to me, disrespecting me with his crude remarks of my "illustrious" life style stating that I don't understand the situation. That I'm to young to know what's best for me. I'm dying in pain. He tried getting me to go for a whole deep clean and extra procedures leaving aside my main concern. My toothache !!!! I'm a 20 year old man. I work 2 jobs and I am a full time student trying to get into the medical field. I have 4 years of experience in customer service and I must say. This "man" is nothing but a joke and is making paddison dental look like a piece of trash. I'm ashamed of the stafd and of this person. I will never return nor recommend it.
