Crab Rangoon (6 Pcs) BEST CRAB RANGOONS IN LA

Amazing food EVERY TIME! If you're in Glendale and love Thai food, you MUST come to PadThai Bistro. I love it here. I have tried many of their dishes. My favorite is their Pad Kee Mao/ drunken noodles EXTRA SPICY. The last time I came here a few days ago, I believe I ordered the red curry very spicy with rice, and crab rangoon. Everything was served fresh. The flavors were so good. Their Thai tea is also super good. The service is amazing as usual and the restaurant is cute and very clean. Overall experience 10/10

PadThai has the most delicious and closest to authentic Thai food in LA. They have the friendliest, most welcoming, and attentive customer service in LA. My family and I discovered this beautiful establishment in 2013 when they were first located near Hollywood. And when we found out they moved to Glendale, so did we. My sister recently had a graduation, and they were kind enough to stay past their closing time for us, had warm food ready nd even decorated and set the table for us. :,) We are beyond grateful for them and hope others can give this sweet place a try :D !!

Please, if you love Thai food, this place is amazing! We tried different plates, the fish was delicious, the service is really nice and the ambiance is totally casual, go with your spouse, family and friends. The price is $ggggoooooddd! My friend who never tried a Thai food, loved it.

We are always on the hunt for new spicy meal serving restaurants. We had cravings for some Chicken Pad Thai which is my favorite Thai dish. The restaurant is a small hole in the wall joint but with comfortable seating and great service it's well worth a visit. The food came out just the way we like it and it was spiced up hot without being overwhelmingly mouth burning. Look to spend less than 40 bucks for two people which was enough food to fill us up.

The dumplings were okay, I wondered if they were home made bc they tasted a little Reminiscent of Costco dumplings in green sauce. The salmon with veggies and basil was good. Tom yum was delicious but too spicy if you're sensitive to spice. Start with mild, lol. service was okay, they were a little busy but some servers weren't working. Ambiance is nice, it's a like a mom & pop spot in a lot.

Great food. We are very picky with Thai food. They have other Asian dishes too. The pho is strong with all the sides. This families recipes are delicious. The prices are great. The egg fried rice is my mom's favorite. That mango sticky rice- a must!

While in Glendale, I had a craving for Thai food and this place was nearby and had decent reviews. When I arrived on a Sunday evening, I was surprised to find the place empty. I was seated quickly and proceeded to order a couple of things from their Thai/Chinese menu. I chose the Crab Rangoon Sticks and Pad See Ew with chicken. I rarely eat Crab Rangoons but several reviewers mentioned how good they were so I made an exception. The menu had two versions, wontons and sticks. I was told they were identical except for the shape so I chose the sticks since that was new to me. They arrived in lightning speed in a small wire basket. At first glance I was shocked at how skinny they were, like pale crispy cigarettes. They came with a clear-ish sweet dipping sauce. They were interesting, a bit on the chewy side, with a crispy exterior and a distinct cream cheese flavor but virtually no crab taste at all. I ended up adding Sambal to the dipping sauce to add a little spice and to cut the cloying sweetness. The Pad See Ew was run of the mill with nice wide noodles in a light brown sauce with fresh Chinese broccoli and sliced chicken breast. It had that distinct char flavor that I expect. My only complaint is that the slices of chicken breast were cut with the grain instead of against so they were a little tough. Overall it was an okay meal. Not great but not bad. I'll pass on the Crab Rangoon Sticks but I'd order the Pad See Ew again, perhaps with a different protein.

I've never thought to mix curry and udon before, but let me tell you, it is delicious! While mostly a take out place, you can eat in as well. I went in and my husband had the pad thai sukhothai with crispy pork which was really good as well. They also have pho and banh minhs as well. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

First time ordering takeout here. Tried Thai food with an open mind and loved it! Definitely coming back.

Overall phenomenal service. My family visited town as a huge get-together and when we walked into the restaurant we asked to be served as a party of 18. It was a ridiculous and unfair request and eating as a group is always a headache but they took it in stride and put the tables together and made it work. Next time, we'll just eat separately for sure. The place is small and cute, and we ended up filling the whole damn restaraunt. The food was fantastic and we especially recommend the Mango Sticky Rice! I had Pad Thai (delicious) and my sister had the Coconut Soup (creamy, amazing, eyes-rolling-back-into-your-head-delicious). The staff here made the best of a difficult situation and while I'm not encouraging anyone to show up with a group the size of 20, I encourage you to dwell in their fantastic service and affordable delicious food. read more

I went and picked up several dishes to go; yellow curry,drunken noodles, Thai chicken wings,Tom yum soup, Pad See Eid and, of course, Pad Thai The service was outstanding. I called my order in to pick up and it was waiting on me in the 12 minutes it took me to drive there. The place is really small and the parking lot has to accommodate several other businesses in the strip mall. I considered only giving 4 Stars because of this but then changed my mind. Any business that can turn out such tasty dishes with that limited space deserves the 5th star. read more

The place is extremely small. We ate inside but it was able to accommodate a party of 12 and maybe another party of 2. The portions were good. Some of the food look good and someone it was just okay. I ordered something safe like Pad Se Ew with chicken which was good. No complaints. The bathroom is near the food where it's prepared. LOL. I think for it being small it wasn't dirty. Actually pretty clean. Some of the people in the group ordered PHO, stir fry rice, and some soup. (Can't remember the name). It wasn't bad. I think it's worth they money. Parking is terrible. Get there early enough and park for free or go about half a block and there is a parking structure you pay for. I would recommend this place again. read more

Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to making me wait over an hour after the time their online service said my food would be ready. If you eat here don't use their online service to order, seems as if they don't look at it. Other than that their food was great, clean, and exactly what you want if your looking for Thai food. read more

So happy this place is close to me. My favorite Thai spot closed down and I think this is my new go to! Got the Thai iced tea with boba (iced tea was great, boba was terrible they really need to change their boba), egg rolls, and RED CURRY the STAR of the meal. Fantastic, spicy (I got medium) and EXACTLY what I wanted. So happy! Can't wait to try more here. read more

Well a long time ago I went to this spot and they made a huge bowl of Tom kha kai soup with noodles which was great. They took it off the menu and then the name changed to fire ass Thai and I hadn't been back. I was in the mood for soup and Thai but when I got there to this renamed establishment it was 45 minutes before closing and I was told it was takeout only. The fish cakes I ordered were hard and rubbery and the new curry udon is basically what I used to get with thicker udon. With a side of rice it was way too pricey for takeout. read more

It's my first time trying this place. The prices are good despite the inflation. 2 entrees, 1 appetizer and 1 beverage came out to $37. I really wanted to like this place so that I can have a go to Thai place in Glendale, but the food was very salty. They gave us a small broth which I think comes with the crispy chicken with Hainan rice. Even the broth was super salty. It looks like I'll be drinking a whole lot of water tonight. If it wasn't for extra salt, I think the food would have turned out good. read more

Heard about the place from a friend and decided to try it today! A lot of options to choose from but ultimately decided on their lighter dishes (it's late!) I got their crab wontons, beef salad, no pad thai at this time but got their noodles with pork and soup on the side, mango sticky rice and hianese chicken and their fried banana was SOOO GOOODDDDDDD. I tried the Kung Pao Chicken, Combination Meet with garlic and the Thai Beef Salad. Although the flavors were good, I didn't like the cuts of meat, it was hard, something was off about it! I have had Thai Beef Salad way better at a number of places, I like it when the beef is char grilled, this one was just pan fried, so the whole dish lacked something. My new go-to spot for Thai food My boyfriend and I found this place through Postmates and we got the pad see eiw, crab fried rice, crab rangoons, orange chicken, and egg noodles with bbq pork. Pad see eew/eiw - we got the combo version and it was so good! Flavors are spot on and noodles were perfectly cooked. Traveled very well. Crab fried rice - It could be canned crab or fresh crab but it's definitely NOT imitation crab! it's so tasty and very flavorful! Best I've ever had and 100% will order again and again (FYI we requested this without onions) Crab Rangoons - I don't usually like the crab Rangoons, but some Yelp reviews said it was good so I gave it a shot. Hands down the best I've ever had and the ratios were just perfect! Orange Chicken - a little on the sweet side but very tasty and crunchy! Just the way I like it. Egg Noodles with BBQ Pork - This was the only one I didn't really enjoy and will probably not order again. It didn't taste bad but it wasn't as good as the other dishes. Like a 3/5? I got a Vietnamese bbq pork sandwich and I don't know what they brought me, I couldn't even eat it, I asked for it to be done on the wok bbq style and they redid the sandwich the same way exactly even after I asked for it to be done the way I wanted and the it's supposed to be made! Tried them for the first time last night and they were AWESOME! Between two people we ordered the a la carte kung po chicken(spicy) and orange chicken. The kung pao chicken was spicy, left your mouth tingly, and the orange chicken had a light tempura batter. Very yummy. I also ordered two sides of steamed rice and we got a free order of vege egg rolls and Thai iced tea. Between two of us we only ate half of one order of steamed rice. They're *big* orders so plan accordingly. We ate all the orange chicken and about half the kung oak. We also got the shrimp chow mein; it was cooked well and the shrimp was good, the noodles were a little plain but tasted good with the kung pao sauce. 50$ for the kung pao chicken, orange chicken, shrimp chow mein, 4 vege egg rolls(free with promo) and Thai iced tea(which was spectacular) the staff was all super friendly, the business was clean, and everything took less than 20min. I highly recommend! read more

The only other bahn mi I have to compare with was made with a hard crusted roll with very mild flavor. The bahn mi here is served in a soft roll with a kind of cabbage slaw, fresh cilantro, a few not-spicy slices of jalapeño and a good amount of deliciously seasoned beef. So easy to eat, so good! But every time i ordered egg rolls for takeout it is missing lettuce wraps. The one time i ordered and got the lettuce wraps with egg rolls, i had to explicitly tell them to add it that time. I thought this placed served the food as it should be in their culture? I've held back leaving a bad review of this place because i thought they would somehow improve or it was a one off mistake but this was the final straw. Consistently screwing up or intentionally holding back ingredients on takeout orders crazy. How much are you actually saving by with holding lettuce, sauce, and jalapenos??? This place used to be good, now it's just another above average spot. If you want banh mi, go somewhere else and be less disappointed.

This Thai spot is a local gem. We just moved to the area and had been avoiding thai food because our takeout thai food experience were hit or miss, mostly miss. Since covid, takeout was our only option so we were hesitant. Luckily, a food app was running a promotion so we gave it a shot We got the fried rice and classic pad thai noodle dishes. So when I read the reviews for this place, I couldn't imagine that everything would be consistently good. Boy was I wrong! The food here is some of the best Thai I've eaten!! First off, it is a ghost kitchen, so they only do take out or delivery. I placed an online order and it was ready for pickup in about 20 minutes. When I picked up my order, it was in 3 bags because I ordered all of my favorites. That way I could compare them to the dishes in other restaurants that I like. I got the Tom Kha Soup, Larb Salad, Pad See Ew, Minced Chicken & Basil, Khao Soi, and a couple of large Thai Iced Teas, thus the 3 bags! I'll go through each dish one by one. Tom Kha Soup - This is always the first thing I order at a Thai restaurant. It usually tells me everything I need to know about the place. This one did not disappoint l though it was a bit more on the tart side than I prefer. It was loaded with flavor and there was no shortage of chicken. Larb Salad - Their version was very traditional with a great balance of lime to fish sauce. It came with a wedge of cabbage so you could use the leaves like a lettuce cup. I ordered it medium spicy but it wasn't too hot. Great job! Pad See Ew - Their version hit all of the right notes. It wasn't very saucy and the noodles weren't all stuck together, an issue at many places. Instead the sauce was perfectly absorbed into the noodles. They didn't skimp on the protein and the crunchy greens added a nice bitterness. Minced Chicken & Basil - Very traditional in its presentation, using ground chicken and plenty of basil. It was stir fried to perfection and the best part was spooning the excess liquid over my rice. Delish!! Khao Soi - This dish doesn't appear on too many menus which is fine because I'm usually not a big fan but I ordered it because of the reviews and I'm glad I did. This was by far the best dish I ordered. It came with freshly cooked noodles, two nice pieces of grilled chicken, a separate container of curry, and crispy noodles on the side along with the usual condiments of red onion, pickled vegetables, lime, chile paste and a small container of a spicy green sauce that packed some serious umami. That curry was the BOMB! Everything about this dish was excellent. That said, the chicken pieces were a little dry so I sliced them into smaller pieces. But putting everything together in one bit was sheer heaven. The soft noodles, the grilled chicken, and the crunchy noodles paired perfectly. And the pickled vegetables helped cut the richness of the curry. 10's across the board!!!! Thai Iced Tea - Their tea was pretty standard, perhaps a bit sweeter than I'm used to. I ordered the large size, not realizing it was the size of a Big Gulp!! I saved half for later. Overall, I could not recommend this place enough!! Everything tasted great, was freshly prepared, and was well packaged. I will definitely start working my way through their entire menu. I hope they add Thai Iced Coffee though. And my fingers are crossed that they do so well that they open a brick and mortar location because I have found my new favorite Thai place. Meanwhile, I'll be dreaming of that Khao Soi.
