I've had their pizza twice now, and both times were fantastic. The first time, my husband brought it home as takeout, and the second time we ordered it again because we enjoyed it so much. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciate how careful the staff are with gluten-free orders. They are very transparent that it's not a dedicated gluten-free environment and that they do their best, but both times I ate here I had no issues at all. They took my concerns seriously and were extremely careful once I explained that I have celiac disease. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly sweet, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant reminds me of the casual, family-oriented pizza places I used to love in San Diego, which is a huge plus for me. There's no other choice around town when it comes to pizza! In our family we have a hard time deciding who wants what toppings and so we often split it four ways. Love their seasonal pie selections and collabs with the local eateries and of course all the traditional choices too. Be sure to add a salad, our favs are the Pagliacci or the Spicy Chicken - it's a zip zing vinaigrette dressing to kick it up a notch - and make sure it's a party size so you'll have leftovers for another day of good eats. The service is always great and one they made an error our order and gave us a $45 gift card as an apology. The ambiance is always lively at this modern setting location on MI but you can go wrong at the many locations spread across town. When my friend and I wanted to meet up in Mercer Island, I checked if there were any late-night dinner options, and perfect, Pagliacci was open! We tried Michelle's Pie (pizza) and Nonna's Pasta, and both were absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a cozy and spacious atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to eat. One of the nicer and cleanest Pagliacci locations! The dining area is solid. Lots of space to sit, as opposed to other locations that have maybe a chair or two, this has plenty for groups even. Service is fast and friendly. Pizza comes out consistent. Their slice bar is clutch. It's pagliacci pizza, as a local you either love or hate it, and its price. Nicer than dominos, but pricier too. According to my boyfriend from Mercer Island, Pagliacci's is the pizza place all students would go to after games or just for a quick bite, and I'm not sure if it's his influence or a secret ingredient but I could taste childhood and nostalgia with my first bite. We all shared the chicken and cranberry salad and the ricotta and sausage pizza. The salad was very fresh and I love sausage on my pizza so I couldn't resist that either. If I'm being picky I do think the toppings on the pizza could be more fresh, but I was too immersed in the idea of childhood and by the butter brushed on the crispy crust. I personally would rate the food a 4/5, but as a human with many biases and because good food should invoke emotions, I'm giving this place a 5 because I feel like the pizza was a key to helping me experience and understand my boyfriend's coming of age that I didn't get to know him for. read more

I've been going to Pogies for over 20 years, maybe even longer! I've got their number memorized, and it's saved as a contact in my phone. My only complaint is that it can be a bit pricey, but honestly, pizza seems expensive everywhere these days. But because of that we don't get it as often as I'd like. The quality at Pogies is fantastic, though, and it's clear they're a great place for young people to work and build careers. Love my neighborhood Pagliacci Pizza! They have a great selection of pizzas already made to buy by the slice and warmed up for you to eat. Prices are very reasonable per slice . Love their seasonal pizzas where they have local mushrooms , pears , or whatever in season. It's fun to watch them make pizza in the back and see the pizzas come out of the conveyor belt oven. Family salads are great, and the variety of beers and sodas are available. Local desserts like cookies and ice cream are available also. They gave indoor and outdoor seatings with a fire outside. First time visiting this pizza place on Mercer Island. Not a whole lot of food choices on the Island, so unsure why I hadn't been here as of yet. My review is based on a first visit and one slice. Lol. I love a slice of pizza when it is served fresh from the oven. This pizza had salad on it so of course that negates calories. Lol. Close to an event in a nearby park my friend was hungry so we came here. Excellent friendly service from the young people working. There is a local vibe here which is very welcoming. The pizza itself had a very thin crust and not too many toppings. Although almost too crispy it still had a soft crust. The condiments were usual pizza sides, Parmesan, olive oil, and chili flakes. Arugula salad on top lightly dressed was a refreshing contrast to the spice of the many peppers. A cold white wine did the trick. Loads of parking here too! Probably won't buy. Whole pie from here just for little ole me, lol, but a slice is great. Almost forgot, for soda drinkers, they have a cool soda dispenser which offers different flavors of all types of sodas. Pagliachi is doing an amazing job with their remote ordering and walk up window for pickup. And as always, the pizza was delish. We ordered a large half Funghi Salsiccia (sausage and mushroom) and half Pesto Prima. The only tweak I'd recommend is that Pagliachi fix their website so when customers order a half and half, like I did, two pizza toppings can be ordered (not an option last week when I attempted to order on line). I called Pagliachi instead and they quickly placed the order for me, so with their friendly and quick customer service this wasn't an issue. Plus then I could confirm the Mercer Island location still had Macrina Bakery cinnamon rolls available Love how Pagliachi is supporting local businesses by offering extras with each whole pizza order This was our first time using the Mercer Island location. They've created a walk up window for order pickups, text you when your order is ready and then step away from the pickup window so you can safely grab and go without contact. The guy at the register said the salad was being made. 10 minutes later the salad was not made, and I mentioned that I have been waiting a long time. It took over 15 minutes to get the small salad. I would have left the salad to enjoy the pizza hot. The issue may have been no communications between the work stations, or something else, but it was very frustrating regardless. When I finally got the pizza home it was not warm and it was also undercooked. We called and complained and were offered a coupon for a free pizza, which we did't want. We wanted to communicate the poor service so that the issue could be addressed, but I doubt anything will change. read more

The pizza is super overpriced and simply not that good. A medium pepperoni pizza was like $25 and it was barely enough for two people and to be honest, Dominos or MOD tastes better. Pizza was ordinary and bland, and it didn't seem like "extra pepperoni", it really seemed like an ordinary amount. The staff is pretty careless, you can tell they don't really like their jobs, they aren't kind or welcoming, and they're fairly slow because they would prefer to lallygag around. Simply put, it's horrible value, extremely overpriced for mediocre pizza. With those prices, you'd expect pizza at decent sit down restaurant, not fast-food joint service. Maybe the value here is to come for one slice of pizza for $3-4 if you need a light quick lunch, but other than that, I would avoid. Pagliacci has vegan cheese now! The pizzas are sooo good. I ordered a large vegan cheese with mushrooms and olives and it was delicious. It definitely is enough food for multiple meals. We called ahead to place an order for pick up. They require payment at the time of order. It took about 45 minutes for them to prepare our order and it was ready when we got there. There was a line of people waiting for pick up due to the social distancing guidelines but it only took a couple minutes before we were served. The staff was friendly. The worst customer service I have received in YEARS. I asked for a side of pineapple for my 4 year old for her pizza. I was told they could only serve food they cooked (???) and when I asked if they could cook the pineapple - they said no. Pagliacci Pizza is a local chain that is generally pretty solid as far as pizza goes. I decided to try it tonight on a rainy seattle Saturday evening. I called to order and spoke to someone on the ordering hotline and asked for the pizza well done, but not burnt. The ordering staff was friendly and efficient and told me a wait time of 15-20 minutes. I arrived about 15 minutes after I called and the pizza was ready and delicious. The restaurant: a newly built and cute joint inside. Good for a local hangout, but not sit down dining fancy. Clean and well kept (since it's new). The staff: attentive and kind. There were surprisingly a LOT of people working in the kitchen (like 10-15 people). There were also 2 cashiers and someone working the individual slice line. While waiting for the cashier there were 2 people who asked if I had been helped. The pizza: was well done just as I had ordered and not burnt. I ordered the grand salumi which is basically a meat lovers pizza. Toppings were decently generous and the crust was chewy/crispy. It was hot and fresh and overall pretty good for gourmet pizza. In comparison to new York pizza the crust was a bit thicker and the sauce a little more than usual, but overall a good pizza. This maybe one of my new favorite pizza places on the Island (and there are like 5 or so pizza joints just on Mercer Island). I have uploaded a picture as well. read more
