I love this place! In a city with mediocre pizza options, I can safely say that Pagliacci is a reliable spot for a good pie.

I've been going to this joint for years, as I love getting a slice to take home. (Hence why 2 stars vs. 0) With that said, showed up today and found a seasonal I was very interested in that wasn't available. No biggie. I got something else. But then later this evening, wanted to try it, so ordered an extra large of the seasonal. Showed up to pick it up and was told that there was a pepperoni under my name. Not the pizza I ordered. Needless to say, I was not happy. I argued for a little, but didn't do much good, so ended up paying nearly $40 ($40!) for a pizza that I, quite frankly, didn't want (and will probably end up throwing away). These guys are my go to pizza delivery choice. They consistently bring the most delicious pizza and fresh yummy salads. I love that you can customize with "light mozzarella" or "well done" to make your pizza even more enjoyable for your own specific preferences. My husband just came back from Pagliaccis, after ordering two pizzas. Jennifer asked him his name. She then proceeded to call him by the incorrect name and so he corrected her on how to say his name. Her response? "oh well I say it with finesse" This is incredibly inappropriate. I understand, someone not understanding Spanish pronunciation, but when someone has a foreign name, you do not say it however you want and then claim that your way is superior by claiming your pronunciation of *his* name is how to pronounce it with "finesse." It is very presumptuous, rude and dehumanizing and I expect better service when we pay so much for these pizzas. We will not be returning. read more

When we moved into our new home we reviewed a coupon by mail to buy one pizza and get one free. When our family from ND came to visit we decided that would be a good time to try this pizza. We got traditional Hawaiian and combo for one and the seasonal peach, pork loin, balsamic, and arugula as the freebie. I sent my husband and daughter to get the pizza. The pizza was not yet ready so they sat and chatted until the pizza was completed. They did not complain as they were in no hurry. However, they were apologized to for the length of time till the pizza was ready and given a container of gelato for their wait! The seasonal pizza was amazing!! Yummm!! And the peach gelato fabulous. We were all delighted. Today I received a $10 coupon to come back in light of my recent experience. I will be back to try more delectable delights! Typically it's just for a quick salad because I have to go to some function at my kid's school and don't want to eat the hot dogs/pizza/candy that they're serving there. This was the case yet again. My favorites are the Paggliaccio salad (that I recommend ordering with the dressing on the side and tossing it with the salad yourself) and the breadsticks. OMG THE BREADSTICKS ARE ADDICTIVE! From time to time, I get Gelatiamo ice creams as treats. Every single flavor is to die for. I can finish a pint in 1 day. So I try not to order them too frequently. This location is kinda in Mountlake Terrace it borders Shoreline on the eastern half of the town. We've been going here since they opened up, I use to live on the stuff while attending the UofW back in the day... Hand tossed NY style pizza perfection. Now don't get me started on which is better NY or Chicago thick crust and don't even mention the Greek-style pizza joints, I luv them all but for me, this is the BOMB! Thin bottom crust with thick chewy edge, easy sauce and just the right amount of toppings. Want to try something different? Try the "seasonal" offerings, we just had one recently with Salumi's(Mario Batali's Ma and Pops place.) spicy pepperoni, OMG, to die for.... The better half and Veggie girl luv the AGOG Primo, served with Fontina and mozzarella cheeses, roasted garlic, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, goat cheese, parsley and Kalamata olives on an olive oil base. Yummy.... Pagliaccio Salad- is the best and only green salad they serve, green leaf lettuce tossed with garbanzo beans, diced red pepper, cheese, salami, red onion and their own dijon vinaigrette. Oh man... If you are a pizza adventurist like myself and just enjoy a great piece of "zaaaaahhhh" then hit them up. I'm dinging these guys a full star for their insane prices. I asked what it would cost for a three topping medium and was quoted $27+. Seriously? Who is going to pay that? The crust here is excellent and I always give high marks for that. I have going to various Pagliaccis in the Seattle area for at least 25 years. There is a reason I continue to go back. For me, it's the best pizza I have ever had. The one in the u-district was my first 'gourmet' pizza experience and I could never look back. I have tried most of the pizzas here over the years and I have to say my favorite is the Parma Primo. Proscuitto, goat cheese, mushrooms (which I substitute with red onions), fresh tomatoes and basil over an olive oil base (I'm personally not a fan of red sauce). I do usually get extra prosciutto on the Prima for myself and my older daughters, and order a plain cheese for my son. Thin, flavorful, and crisp crusts.... YUM. The customer service is EXCELLENT, even when ordering delivery (but bummer, they don't deliver until 5p.m. daily). They 'remember' you and your special orders when calling. They even cater to super picky pizza eaters like me (I like a really crisp, but not burnt crust....I am not a 'folder'. And they are there to please). If you go to their menu online, you can usually find a monthly special, and bonus buy for "frequent pie-ers". I highly recommend Pagliaccis if you have never been. You won't look back. read more

I love Pagliacci, and the staff at this specific location really go above and beyond for their customers. I called about 30 minutes before closing time on a Friday to place an order for delivery. My boyfriend and I were at a friend's party and hungry for a late night snack. He wanted large Pepperoni, and I just wanted two slices of vegan pizza. The guy on the phone was so cool and accommodating, and said they could easily leave the meat and cheese off of two of the slices. Within 20 minutes, the delivery guy was at the door. Cannot stress enough how awesome he was (didn't catch his name, but young guy with curly hair). The house we were at is at the end of a long, dark driveway, and somewhat difficult to locate. This guy had no trouble, and easily navigated his way through the large movie screening party we were attending, directly to the couch where we were sitting to deliver our pie. The pizza, as always with Pagliacci, was fantastic. Fresh ingredients, with a distinctly spicy tomato sauce and fresh basil, atop a flavorful thin crust. This place is very close to my home. I kept seeing so many locations and decided to give it a try. The staff here is super friendly. They heat up the pizza slices as you order them. It is a bit on the pricey side but you can treat yourself to this good pizza. They have plenty of parking space at this location. They even have draft beer which is a plus for me. They have a wide selection of pizzas. I have also tried the calzone and it was huge and very good. They also do delivery. Which I will definitely use on a Friday night. This location is usually pretty empty so you won't have to worry about finding a table if you are thinking about dining in. read more

Hands down our favorite pie in Seattle. Our boys love the Centioli as a warm up or sometimes they simply share that it's so filling! My favorite is the Brooklyn Bridge. We recently enjoyed one of their seasonal creations on their Gluten Free crust, and it was second to none! We ordered the Sicilian salad with chicken and received very, very poor quality chicken. A large portion of the pieces were all cold grissle with no meat.
