For the second time today we went to pick up our pizza snd salad only to have to wait while others picked up their pizzas ahead of us... Some of the customers told the employees behind the counter that they realized they were early but wondered if their pizzas were ready. It was supposed to be ready at 5:50 and it was... It just sat on the shelf for another 15 minutes until my husband challenged them. Be a smarter shopper than we have been... Don't pay for your pizza until it's ready to go. My husband paid when he first walked in and when he wanted to leave so we could make an appointment he was told it would require a manager to give a refund. We considered walking out but... We had already paid. After having this experience two times we will not be going back to Pagliacci's. There are other good pizza places with better service. read more

The MANAGER called my brother a LOSER because he didn't have a credit card to pay for his pizza for delivery after he asked for them to bring change for a 100 dollar bill. When you charge $25+ for one pizza how is this not possible ? UNACCEPTABLE. read more

Pagliacci's is my favorite pizza in WA. I usually order the sun dried tomato primo which is excellent. The Shoreline/Ballinger Way location tastes the same as the other locations I've tried. I like this one because it's right off the freeway, clean, and plenty of free parking. I will definitely be back. I wish they opened earlier however. I drive by on my way home from work at 3, but they don't open til 4. Bummer for me! EDIT: I just tried their Heirloom Tomato Primo pizza this past weekend, and it is the BEST pizza I have ever had. The last Pagliacci Pizza I ate as was when I lived in the University District and it was by the slice, huge, and yummy, albeit crowded. To say I was hoping to eek out a memory of my hometown Seattle during my Summer visit is not quite enough. Plus, as an art fiend, I'd spent many hours browsing the older structure behind the new Shoreline location and I had to check out what felt like an alien invasion on Ballinger Way. I was with my family I hadn't seen in years, fully capable of having a good time but this place annoyed me. First, the pizza was ridiculously priced, so much I asked the young spiky-haired buck to repeat himself. Second, the place echoed worse than the Mt. St. Helens caverns. Really. I have enough thoughts running through my head as it is but I didn't need competition with the others in the restaurant. The decor was nice and fancy smancy modern, but it was wide open and felt very clinical. There was a group of kids at the other end of the dining area and if any of them made more than a mutter we couldn't talk. Again, no need to give the voices in my head competition. Two stars because the pizza was good, nadda stars for the lack of weeee and echo echo echo. read more

WAY overpriced, incredibly greasy, overcooked all three times I have ordered it, terrible sauce, not enough cheese, bland crust, and slow delivery. I love the food. The Agog pizza is delicious, as are the salads and gelatto; in general, the food is great and I'm accustomed to it as the best pizza in the area. My big pet peeve, however, that makes me take away a star from them is that they only start delivery at 4 PM (!) each day. That is very inconvenient compared to other pizza sources, which are inferior in product. Please, start delivery for lunch! read more

I'm torn. I really am. The one experience I had with this location left a bitter taste in my mouth. The pizza was not only really expensive, but it was actually.. bad. However, that was when I ate in the store. Recently I got a coupon for two medium pizzas for like $10.. so I decide to give it another try--by delivery. My husband and I were both actually surprised an hour later at how delicious the pizza was! It was 180 degrees from that day in the cold booth inside the restaurant. It was crispy, saucy, the toppings were good, and so on. It's still a bit on the expensive side without any coupons, but a nice treat once and awhile. So now I'm torn. Pizza? Eh.. it was ok. I wouldn't put in an order for pizza here again. The breadsticks however, are a whole different story. I do believe i'll be stopping in here for some bread sticks next time i go fishing at Log Boom Park (it's on the way). Oh, and they had some gelato/sorbet thing. I got a pint of the most delicious blackberry flavored goodness i have ever tasted in my entire life! (and i love blackberries, although i'm quite critical of blackberry flavored things). Pizza is overpriced too. It's too "new-yorky" style for me, i guess. Two stars is all they get. They won't deliver to our location for some reason but this pizza is delicious. I got the seasonal Salumi meatball and added goat cheese, it was perfect. Have also tried brooklyn bridge and the 12th man primo. All amazing. They have high quality ingredients and don't skimp or pile too many toppings. Great balance of toppings. When I was a starving college student I used to frequent the Pagliacci on the Ave in the U-District, so was excited to have one come to Shoreline. The fam and I have been there three times and all three times the pizza took over thirty minutes to arrive and when it did it was cold...tasty, but cold. The staff is young and they spent most of their time flirting with each other, so I was just happy to get any kind of service at all. Needless to say, we'll probably give it one more try and if things don't fare any better, probably avoid it like the plague. Perhaps the delivery side is better managed. read more

I had the Salame Picante pizza which is a seasonal. Pizza I usually would not write a review but this was the best pizza I had ever eaten. I have been to Italy, many countries and 48 states and I loved it. I really hope they can keep it on the menu because my oh my it is so good especially with crushed red pepper flakes. I ordered over the phone for delivery and the man on the phone was very nice and helpful. Pizza arrived in exactly 30 min s. Was perfect, fresh, and hot. :) Also delivery I had got from other pizza places was nearly same price! This a little smaller (you can't tell) but so much better ingredients just for a few extra bucks but seriously worth it. You can tell its good I mean I spent the time to write all this. I didn't think Pagliacci delivered to my house, so was pleasantly surprised to find they do. The sausage lasagne was to die for, and the chicken penne was yummy too. The bread sticks totally rock! Nothing but raves about this Pagliacci location. I always order for delivery - they are prompt, polite and perfect. They keep track of your history as far as liking the crust a certain way, etc., so there's no need to launch into how you like it! We usually get pepperoni with mushroom and it's awesome. This is my first time coming here and I was quite skeptical. To get the back story here I'm lactose but I like my pizza. So we went in with my dad, boyfriend and I and wanted to order a half pep half sausage primo or what ever you call it but I wanted a slice of each w/o cheese. They tried and successfully made it work. Very impressed with the customer service I received, especially since I am in the industry they had handled it how I would. Very good location, always clean, always friendly and always ready to help! We live right in between locations and the call center tends to send drivers from this location more. The pizza is delicious here and they starting serving slices, which is great because you dont have to agree on a whole pizza or get way more food than you need. The house salad is a personal favorite. It is romaine lettuce, red onions, chickpeas, and roasted red peppers. I suggested you get a smaller pizza so you have room for the salad. I knock one star off for the prices. The full pizzas are over priced. read more

As this is now our "home" Pagliacci's (we moved to Arlington, so this is the closest), we have adopted it (although we miss the friendly faces from Kenmore). Pagliacci is my favorite pizza place in the greater Seattle area. I've been ordering food from them for 15 years, ever since I moved here. Their salads and gelato are also very good. Delivery is always prompt and fresh. The price is reasonable, you can just as easily spend $30-40 at Pizza Hut for much lower quality food. The trick is to get a large pizza half and half, plenty of food for 4 and a better deal than 2 mediums but you still get variety! My friends told me to try this place and here's what I hate about it: 1) their service is subpar. When you order something it takes like an hour for them to get to your house then act put out when you don't tip em. 2) there food when it does finally get here is gross, they half cook the dough and all the toppings are half cooked as well and they ask like 30-40 dollars per pizza. This is good eating!! I've always loved going to the Ave to get a slice, but about a year ago I discovered that this "delivery kitchen" was a couple minutes from my house! While I miss getting a single slice, getting a huge 17" pie delivered right to my door is a wonderful experience. Never had the salads, but the Margherita is probably the best Margherita I've ever had, and I order it every time I go to a place that serves pizza. San Marzanos, fresh mozzarella, and basil? Mmmmm. The crust is thin and yummy. I would actually just eat the crust. It's always been on time, and delicious. While it's a little bit expensive, the sizes are also bigger than most delivery pizzas and the ingredients are better. Check out the website: everything's local or imported from Italy--as Pizza should be! They also support all kinds of good causes...something about providing low-income housing and using all eco-friendly stuff like organic food and biodegradable soap. If that's what they do with the undoubtedly higher profit margin then some other places make, I'm okay with paying a couple dollars more. I can rationalize the price for myself even further when I compare the 11" margherita at Pagliacci's to personal pizzas at other sit down places. About the same price, about the same size, and WAY BETTER. read more
