These guys are the real deal--honest, kind, and absolute pros. They've been out to rescue my central air twice this summer (yes, I'm that person). One of those times? The hottest day of the year. He came out for a consult - checked the freon pressure and gave some options about going forward - the one he suggested since there was some cooling coming to evaluate things ongoing. He also checked the freon on a old AC unit which had been sitting for years in case it had any of the R-22 freon. When I asked what charge there was for the call - he indicated none. Sadly the AC performance has been very marginal so I'm going to see about one of the other options he mentioned. I appreciate that he was not trying to sell me anything but tried to come up with a solution which would be best for us.

My dad had his HVAC serviced less than 2 weeks ago for the winter and Bret didn't realize that a pressure switch needed to be replaced. We don't know what was actually done for service. So instead we had to pay a different HVAC technician to come and fix it on one of the coldest days this winter. We called multiple times and left many messages with no follow up. We understand it's busy and we need their help because we aren't hvac technicians ourselves - but this isn't how to treat customers. They wouldn't appreciate their friends and family being serviced this way, so why should we?

Since then, he's been advising us on the annual failures of our 1979 air conditioner, always managing to repair, rather than replace, up until this year when there really was no recovery. It has been on my mind that I need to take the time, because I have not forgotten how how truly amazing the service we received was and when you find a company that exceeds your expectations, the least you can do is let others know. Our technician, Roman, came out after another company told us we needed a new system and quoted us $6K. Roman was extremely thorough, and advised that our gas was set way too high, which was why our heat was auto shutting off. We need different filters and maintenance, to the tune of less than $300. We purchased the maintenance plan with them, and will never use anyone else. These guys are honest, and I will recommend them to anyone that asks.
