    Beef kimbap

Food made fresh and was delicious. Definitely try the beef kimbap and spam kimbap! And the folks were kind enough to explain the dishes with specific ingredients in case I was allergic to something. Highly recommend!

Cooked fresh to order. Located inside Lotte Market they always have a crowd during lunch. We usually receive our order in less than 10 minutes. Seating for approximately 40 people in the food court. So many choices. All delicious.

Extremely reasonably priced food in the grocery store Lotte in Gaithersburg. You can't miss with any of the dishes. Each meal is prepared fresh, with really great ingredients. I loved the kimbap, probably the largest kimbap I have had. So worth the price! The gamjatang was very traditional, came out hot and delicious. The dolsot bibimbap had great veggies inside, zucchini, spinach, carrots, mung bean and the rice was just the perfect amount of crispy on the edges. There was bulgogi inside the dolsot bibimbap as well. The pork tonkasu was crispy and tender, with just a thin fried coating and thick meat inside. Most dishes come with a side of two types of kimchi. Highly recommend this little eatery. Seating is tables of 4 cafeteria style.

We have made the trek to Palace Korean Noodle, located inside the Lotte market's food court, several times now, and, I have to say, we're fans now! The menu offers various kalguksoos, nengmyuns, jjolmyuns, and kimbops. We usually stick to: +the beef kalguksu - the portion is generous, and there's plenty of noodles (sometimes, these can be overcooked); broth had a very beef-y flavor, and this dish is more than enough for 3-4 servings; I just wished they had yangnyum soy sauce to add to the kalguksu +the bulgogi kimbop - the kimbop was fresh and tasty - the ratio between the rice and the other ingredients were the perfect ratio, making it a great balance Note that it does take time for you to get your orders, as everything is made-to-order. Service was kind. There are only a handful of tables to dine-in, but you're also competing with patrons who ordered from the other eateries. Ample parking in the large plaza lot. +good kimbop +kind service +located inside Lotte +ample parking

Good kimbap in Gaithersburg, but the price is a little higher than the food prices at the supermarket's food counter.

Not only do they have noodles but Kimbop too!! Finally a place to get delicious kimbop! I got beef bulgogi and spam kimbops. They also had vegetable, cheese and others but my taste buds didn't red any more than the two I picked :-). The ratio to rice and filling was perfect and seasoned perfectly. The kimchee just hit the spot. I definitely would come back. The lady taking my order was sweet. They are located within the newly renovated food court in Lotte. More seating was added and feels more inviting to dine in verses carry-out.

I've known the business since Fairfax Lotte location. Their food is amazing and so good wo msg. I used to drive all the way to that location just to eat. (I'm in MoCo) They're always nice and friendly, and remembers me. It's sad that Germantown location is closed and they can only sell limited menus now.

Pork cutlet Don Katsu. Big portion and pretty tasty!

Sometimes we make kimbaps at home, but taste as good as these here. Price are great. The spicy thin noodles tastes like havean.

This one feels most authentic…read more.. Before I say anything else yes, parking is limited. Why? Because it's in an area dominated by industrial businesses. Not a retail space. Boo-hoo, look around and you'll find a spot unless you're driving a yacht. Now, to the setting and the food...the setting is the way I like it. Rustic, clean, unassuming, not fancied up. Wooden privacy screens are set in between tables. (Perhaps because of Covid? Not sure.) This to me was really comfortable, didn't feel like I was stuck in a cattle car. I'm sure there's Korean BBQ here but we weren't at such a table. In fact it looked like grills had been removed from some tables and replaced with wooden covers. So nice to have that extra space because... Ordered bibimbap, bulgogi, steamed dumplings, etc. The extra side dishes I enjoy (kimchi, sprouts, etc.) were there as well. Ice tea, yadda yadda. Korean music was playing but it wasn't loud, on another screen by the kitchen I could see Family Guy. Again, not loud or intrusive. Didn't feel like they skimped on portions, there was plenty. Almost too much, wasn't sure I'd manage to finish the bulgogi but I did...mmm. Overall, this place is a nice break from other places. If you want to take someone out and just enjoy yourselves, this would be it. Perhaps a bit different when full, but still. Btw, it's been 13 years since I first went here. This week was only the second time. I totally forgot where it was or whether it was still around. So glad it is.

This is the second time I've been here for lunch. And both times, it has been good…read more The first time here, I got bulgogi bowl and my partner got the salad with grilled chicken. We enjoyed them and the entrees were both big. Today, we got the lunch special, which is a choice of entree from the lunch menu and a can of soda, all for $12.95. I got the spicy pork bowl and my partner got the teriyaki shrimp bowl. Both were delicious. I enjoyed the spiciness of my sauce, but the sauce also had a bit of sweet to it and was pretty light (some sauces are gelatinous). Same with the teriyaki. The shrimp were well prepared (there were 8 of them!) and the sauce nice and light. The server came by a couple of times to fill water glasses and I actually took some of my entree home for dinner - with the rice, it's a lot to eat. Speaking of the rice, although it's simple boiled white rice, I liked the texture and it was good. Unfortunately, I've tried a few of their offerings now, but have still not tried the fried chicken/wings. I'll have to try them another time.

The Korean fried chicken here was decent. Not my favorite, but still pretty good. I'd recommend…read moregetting the wings over the whole bone-in chicken. Some of the whole chicken pieces (especially the breast) were a bit dry or had more breading than meat. But the wings we ordered were super tender, juicy, and flavorful. The included sides are pickled radish, salad, and coleslaw, which were a nice touch. They helped cut through the oiliness and paired well with the chicken. Our favorite flavor was the "sweet & spicy" wings (level 2 spice), nice kick and really tasty. The "white snow" flavor was sweet and powdery (kind of like sweet cheddar), not my thing but my friends enjoyed it. The menu was a bit hard to understand at first and felt a little overwhelming to navigate. Took us a few minutes to figure out how to order. Servicewise, the food came out in waves. We got fries and one half chicken first, then the rest of the food and drinks about 20 minutes later. Not a huge issue, but it would've been better if fries and drinks came out first. Overall, fun vibes and cute decor. I'd come back for drinks and wings with friends. Bonus: there's a cute free photo booth in the back of the restaurant near the bathroom.
