    Beef kimbap

Food made fresh and was delicious. Definitely try the beef kimbap and spam kimbap! And the folks were kind enough to explain the dishes with specific ingredients in case I was allergic to something. Highly recommend!

Cooked fresh to order. Located inside Lotte Market they always have a crowd during lunch. We usually receive our order in less than 10 minutes. Seating for approximately 40 people in the food court. So many choices. All delicious.

Extremely reasonably priced food in the grocery store Lotte in Gaithersburg. You can't miss with any of the dishes. Each meal is prepared fresh, with really great ingredients. I loved the kimbap, probably the largest kimbap I have had. So worth the price! The gamjatang was very traditional, came out hot and delicious. The dolsot bibimbap had great veggies inside, zucchini, spinach, carrots, mung bean and the rice was just the perfect amount of crispy on the edges. There was bulgogi inside the dolsot bibimbap as well. The pork tonkasu was crispy and tender, with just a thin fried coating and thick meat inside. Most dishes come with a side of two types of kimchi. Highly recommend this little eatery. Seating is tables of 4 cafeteria style.

We have made the trek to Palace Korean Noodle, located inside the Lotte market's food court, several times now, and, I have to say, we're fans now! The menu offers various kalguksoos, nengmyuns, jjolmyuns, and kimbops. We usually stick to: +the beef kalguksu - the portion is generous, and there's plenty of noodles (sometimes, these can be overcooked); broth had a very beef-y flavor, and this dish is more than enough for 3-4 servings; I just wished they had yangnyum soy sauce to add to the kalguksu +the bulgogi kimbop - the kimbop was fresh and tasty - the ratio between the rice and the other ingredients were the perfect ratio, making it a great balance Note that it does take time for you to get your orders, as everything is made-to-order. Service was kind. There are only a handful of tables to dine-in, but you're also competing with patrons who ordered from the other eateries. Ample parking in the large plaza lot. +good kimbop +kind service +located inside Lotte +ample parking

Good kimbap in Gaithersburg, but the price is a little higher than the food prices at the supermarket's food counter.

I've known the business since Fairfax Lotte location. Their food is amazing and so good wo msg. I used to drive all the way to that location just to eat. (I'm in MoCo) They're always nice and friendly, and remembers me. It's sad that Germantown location is closed and they can only sell limited menus now.

Not only do they have noodles but Kimbop too!! Finally a place to get delicious kimbop! I got beef bulgogi and spam kimbops. They also had vegetable, cheese and others but my taste buds didn't red any more than the two I picked :-). The ratio to rice and filling was perfect and seasoned perfectly. The kimchee just hit the spot. I definitely would come back. The lady taking my order was sweet. They are located within the newly renovated food court in Lotte. More seating was added and feels more inviting to dine in verses carry-out.

Pork cutlet Don Katsu. Big portion and pretty tasty!

Boo-hoo, look around and you'll find a spot unless you're driving a yacht. Now, to the setting and the food...the setting is the way I like it. Rustic, clean, unassuming, not fancied up. Wooden privacy screens are set in between tables. (Perhaps because of Covid? Not sure.) This to me was really comfortable, didn't feel like I was stuck in a cattle car. I'm sure there's Korean BBQ here but we weren't at such a table. In fact it looked like grills had been removed from some tables and replaced with wooden covers. So nice to have that extra space because... Ordered bibimbap, bulgogi, steamed dumplings, etc. The extra side dishes I enjoy (kimchi, sprouts, etc.) were there as well. Ice tea, yadda yadda. Korean music was playing but it wasn't loud, on another screen by the kitchen I could see Family Guy. Again, not loud or intrusive. Didn't feel like they skimped on portions, there was plenty. Almost too much, wasn't sure I'd manage to finish the bulgogi but I did...mmm. Overall, this place is a nice break from other places. If you want to take someone out and just enjoy yourselves, this would be it. Perhaps a bit different when full, but still. Btw, it's been 13 years since I first went here. Andrew is genuinely one of the best servers I've had anywhere. Super professional without feeling stiff, really easy to talk to, and just completely on top of everything. He managed the grill perfectly the whole time, paced the meat so nothing felt rushed or slow, and kept the heat just right without us ever having to ask. Our table never sat empty either. Banchan refills came out fast, drinks stayed full, and everything just flowed. What stood out the most was how seamless the entire experience felt. You don't realize how much that matters until you have someone who does it this well. It made the whole meal way more enjoyable. On top of that, the food here is already great and for $45 AYCE it's honestly a steal. But having Andrew take care of us twice now is what really made me want to leave this review. We left the cooking and ordering up to him. We arrived ariund 730 on a Saturday and had to wait about an hour for a table. We sat at the bar and ordered soju and I had a lychee martini, which was so delicious. We went with the premium meats and started with brisket, which was good, but simple. It was perfect with the veggies and sauces that were given. The rice and soup was delicious! My husband had two rounds eventhough we told him to save room. We then had the marinated boneless short rib, which was marinated perfectly and super flavorful and tender. We also ordered fried dumplings and a few rounds of ramen. The ramen was so delicious, especially when you add more veggies and meat. Overall, great ambiance and experience. The food is great, especially if you enjoy Korean bbq. Definitely worth a visit.

I've tried it at a couple other places in the area and been underwhelmed, the one here is quite good, second only to my holy grail version which is sadly in a state I don't plan to revisit. The food was served with a couple banchan (radish, cabbage kimchi and the pickled radish + raw onion that is usually served with jjajangmyeon). The prices are great for Korean food; the jjajangmyeon was 10.99, pancake 19.99 and hubs and I brought about half of each home. We probably could have gotten away with just ordering one or the other but having leftovers is golden. We'll be back to try some other items on the menu!

I got the spicy pork bowl and my partner got the teriyaki shrimp bowl. Both were delicious. I enjoyed the spiciness of my sauce, but the sauce also had a bit of sweet to it and was pretty light (some sauces are gelatinous). Same with the teriyaki. The shrimp were well prepared (there were 8 of them!) and the sauce nice and light. Our favorite flavor was the "sweet & spicy" wings (level 2 spice), nice kick and really tasty. The "white snow" flavor was sweet and powdery (kind of like sweet cheddar), not my thing but my friends enjoyed it. The menu was a bit hard to understand at first and felt a little overwhelming to navigate. Took us a few minutes to figure out how to order. Servicewise, the food came out in waves. We got fries and one half chicken first, then the rest of the food and drinks about 20 minutes later. Not a huge issue, but it would've been better if fries and drinks came out first.
