They couldnt take me in for manicure since they were fully booked but i was able to get my pedicure. Tiffiany was more than pleasant, professional, and experienced. UPDATE 2: someone personally called me to rectify the situation. Offered me a redo of my nails free of charge as well as a fill on this set. I tried to tip Vincent for his work but he did not allow me to. My nails came out great :) UPDATE: I have reduced my rating now to 1 Star. The shop is now denying They served me. I've attached images to prove I was there as well as them messaging me to fix the situation. Negative experience overall. I will start my review by saying the place is in a great area and there was street parking where I luckily got a spot right outside. The salon itself is new and has a unique setup but kind of small with limited walking room around the booths. Cons: - The credit card machine was "logged off for the night", so I had to withdraw cash from their conveniently located ATM machine. - I went for a pedicure gel color change and dip nails removal and dip new set on my natural nails. I noticed some people had 2 people working through their services to speed up process, I only had one person and was there for a while. - my pedi came out fine but nails were not properly shaped and they attached an extension after breaking my nail (it was weak but with proper care could have been saved) - i decided to do gel on my nails since I had been there for hours and my nails are already bending and breaking, with an air bubble in one nail. I went in yesterday with a 5pm appointment and was in no rush, I was hoping to enjoy my gel mani pedi before my trip. the salon was short staffed and after my pedicure was complete and we were starting my mani my nail tech was changed. I believe because the male nail tech thought she was not fast enough and there was a wait. They had over booked appointments. When the male nail tech stepped in he went so quickly I've never had my nails done that fast I don't think they were under the gel light long enough.... Not even 24hrs later my nail is already starting to chip and I am so disappointed. I paid close to $100 and was so excited to have my nails done for this special occasion and now I am worried they will not last and I will have to have them redone. The worst nail place I've ever been to. My nails were in good condition before I went here. When I came, they barely applied any acrylic to the nail, making it peel off in a few days. 5 stars for quality of manicure 5 stars for staff friendliness 5 stars for location and parking garage nearby 1 star for deceptive pricing, they up charge $10 for everything from polish removal (even if you do the same, even if it was applied there) to SHAPING, yes ladies it's $10 extra for any shape except square... I was forewarned by other reviews mentioning how the price constantly changes and goes up from what you read on the menu so I called ahead and said exactly what I wanted, I checked and even was OK with paying extra $10 for French tip, but they tried to include another $20 charge in there and they couldn't even explain it with their own math and a calculator. Even with the additional upcharge that they didn't mention for shaping my nails. My nails are beautiful but I'm so disappointed by the pricing being all over the place that after over a year of getting my nails done here on and off, I just can't justify coming somewhere that's operating like this... I happened upon this place visiting Beverly Hills while I had time to kill and needed a manicure. I don't get gel but regular manicures. I wish I remembered the name of the lady who did my nails because she did a fantastic job! I've never had a regular manicure last this long. It's been 9 days already, and it still looks great. I will definitely go back again when I'm in town. I knocked a star off because I didn't find their chairs to be comfortable for a short person and they didn't take credit cards under a certain amount so I had to use their in-house cash machine which charges a fee. read more

Im so confused. I have been going to this salon for a few years. I visited Saturday late afternoon for just a regular pedicure, nothing special, no special add ons or treatments, nothing. The price was $35, so that was cool and consistent with all my other visits. I waited about 15 minutes before it began. They provide some books to you so you can pick your color. The books display a color with a number, nothing else. Once she began applying the polish, i think she said gel is $55, thats about all I could understand. I was a little annoyed and pretty confused but I agreed (she already started). I KNOW Ive had that color before - no additional charge. I thought it would work out when I went to pay, and questioned it with the gentleman handling payment. He showed me a price sheet and I saw the pedicure I requested was $35, but then they said I got a different one a showed me a pedicure starting at $45, so Im really not sure whats going on or how they came up with $55 AT ALL or why I f-ing paid that, but I did. I guess I didnt want to argue with them at the time and but I am still confused. I kept thinking, a $20 upcharge for gel?!!?? Wow! whatthewhatyawhat? I didnt even get to keep the bottle! The more I think about it the more pissed I get! Like I said, no special treatments or add ons of ANY kind, nothing. It took a total of 25 minutes once she started and she did a fine job, not disputing the work but Im still very confused. I wont go back BUT, if you are really into gel and like a HUGE upcharge, this is the place for you! $60 after tip and all, just for a regular, fast pedicure from Palatial Nail Salon is just to much of a palatial price for this chick to pay for a pedicure. I rarely write reviews, but here I go. I got a full set of gel extensions here this week. When I arrived to my appointment, I showed the nail technician a picture of the design I wanted, which was pretty simple, but involved color blocking with two colors (green with gold on top). I told her I wanted to change one of the colors, but wanted the rest of the design to look the same. I was the last appointment so I noticed the girl rushing about halfway through the appointment. After finishing most of the design, the girl told me that they didn't have the second color (apparently she knew all along and didn't tell me for some reason). This wouldn't usually matter but the design wouldn't make sense without the color. I could tell the workers were anxious to leave for the night and I was rushed to pick a different color. She hastily tried to draw the final parts of the design and when I asked her to fix parts of it that didn't look right, she got snappy. The design looks terrible. it looks like a child did my nails. When I left, I noticed the nails were all crooked. She also didn't bother to file the tips at the end to make the tips smooth and so plastic shards were sticking from the bottom. I ended up filing them down myself when I got home. The worst part was that they charged $105 dollars for the services: $25 WAS for the shitty design that wasn't what I wanted. I really don't mind paying that much for a really great manicure, but this place is NOT worth it. Could have gotten the same thing for $50 at a hole in the wall place. If you want quality nails, look elsewhere. read more

Nail tech & now travel nurse: I had dip nails & a spa pedicure I'm trying to understand what went wrong here. Everything went wrong. Worst nail experience I had so far. Dip nails $55: I had on dip already & natural nails. She should of asked me before proceeding to cut my real nail to the meat. She proceeded to pry off the dip off my nail bed using the cuticle cutter & the whole process hurts so bad ( now my natural nails are so thin) Shape is like chicklets, uneven & bumpy Pedicure $35: she was so rough on the cuticles (Jenny) my toes are all 10 different shapes, my feet are more rough than before (they use the coarse buffer) barely massaged me (menu said 8 minutes) it was more of like 2 minutes. A prior guest was also complaining, I guess the only good person it seems is the owner Vincent for nails. He was busy so I had to go to someone else. This is pretty bad comparing to the million other great salons in the area. I had high expectations this was a let down They don't do appointments walk in or call 15 mins ahead only. *Late post but I have time stamped pictures* I came in on Thursday 7/13 for a full set of Gel X and a pedicure. The pedicure came out good, my only complaint is that the person cut my cuticles too short and it was uncomfortable walking in my heels after the appointment. My real issue is with the Gel X, at first the guy put on my left thumb crooked. I brought it to his attention but he didn't want to listen to me and said that my thumb nails are two different sizes. When he finally understood what I was talking about he tried to straighten it by filing the nail but the nail was too crooked to fix. He finally took off the nail and put a new one on but this time he filed it too short, noticeably shorter than the other nails. I was happy with the length of the other nails and noticed he was getting annoyed of me so I didn't say anything and let him keep working. Originally I wanted French tips but once he got through the first hand I realized that you can see the glue under the nail and asked to change for a solid color (I said I would pay for both since he had already finished one hand). After he finished painting my nails I looked underneath and each nail has way too much glue. I was annoyed because I didn't have the time to ask for it to be redone and spent $165 on nails that I wasn't happy with. I was going to take the L and not write a bareview until one of my nails came off on Tuesday 7/25. All of that glue and the nails couldn't even stay on for more than a week! All around bad experience, the service and nails I ended up with did not match money I spent. read more
