Excellent!! 10/10 every time. Food is always delicious, staff is friendly and I love the changing menu. Brunch and dinner are both fantastic, super cute. Can get a little loud but it's not overbearing and doesn't ruin a meal. Absolutely love this place, a true gem. So unique and fun.

I've been to Palm Palm quite a few times for dinner but this was my first time for brunch and I can't believe I waited this long! It was packed inside so I'm glad I made a reservation for Saturday at 1pm. The vibes and staff are great as always and the food was delicious! Everyone agreed that my Korean Chicken Benedict feature was incredible and we loved the huge fluffy pancakes and our cocktails. For sides, definitely get the truffle fries or brûléed oranges!

A classy atmosphere with endless options of culinary excellence! At the top of most Pittsburgh searches for trendy restaurants, Palm Palm delivers on all aspects. Simplistic, covered parking with a large parking structure attached to the restaurant. Elegance encapsulated with the high ceilings, modern fixtures, and classy atmosphere. The food is next level. With so many awesome small plate options, we decided to get drinks and share in the opportunities. This may be of benefit, as Palm Palm brings out food when it is ready instead of waiting to serve a full course to a party. Let's review the small plates: - Roasted Broccoli Caesar - roasted tender and perfectly coated with the brioche and parm - Focaccia Bread Board - fluffy, salty focaccia with somewhat simplistic board options of butters and jam - Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Dumplings - easily our favorite bite!! Served in a spoon with creamy soup floating a perfectly filled dumpling of cheese goodness - Truffle Spaghettios - hello childhood, you missed the mark. These spaghettios may have you thinking nostalgia but the flavors are stellar. - Mini Lobster Rolls - chilled, copious lobster on a buttery crisp roll... shhhh they brought us a second one for free!!! - Waygu Meatballs - the plating is top notch. Little meatball holders to allow the French onion to soak in and the cheesy to perfectly melt across them all. Melt in your mouth meatballs with seasoning to make your want another! - Classic Oysters - a nice starter for the birthday boy! For drinks, we loved their homemade sodas - Lemon Ginger, Strawberry Passion Fruit, & Sunset Fire added the perfect sip between bites! And of courseeeee... you need desserts! Why not turn them into shareable small plates too!! - The Orange - levels of orange flavor perfectly paired together with sweetness to enhance the palate and enjoy! - Dark Desire - rich, dark chocolates with flairs of chocolate work. So goooood!! - Key Lime Pie - wooowww citrus overload. But so moist and yummy. Our waitress was phenomenal. Giving great suggestions, ensuring we always had dishes cleared and glasses filled... and even telling us menu changes that made some dishes not worth it anymore. Wow!! This is celebration station too! With the sparkler extraordinaire almost every table was celebrating someone or something while we were there. It's no surprise that this place is, was, and will be a trendy spot in Pittsburgh!!

I dropped in recently with a friend and had a great experience sitting at the bar! The restaurant has a really cool vibe and the staff is super friendly and helpful. There were so many great cocktails to choose from; I tried two of the gin options and they were delightful! I choose a couple of appetizers as my meal - the grilled cheese and tomato soup dumplings and the roasted carrots with whipped cheese. Neither are things I would have expected to order there, but they were both so delicious that I'd absolutely order them again! We also split the vegan PB&J cheesecake and it was 5 stars! Highly recommend.

    Harissa Shrimp (4.25/5)

We got the daily special of harissa shrimp (4.25/5), seafood skewers (top; 4.25/5), kimchi fried rice (4.75/5), and sea bass (5/5). The shrimp was good; the harissa added some nice flavor, but it was a lot milder and less spicy than usual. The seafood skewers were good; I liked how the pineapple added a bit of sweetness. The tuna, swordfish, and salmon were all well cooked. The kimchi fried rice was really good and a great value for only $7, especially compared to the rest of the menu's prices and the larger quantity; two orders will probably be the same or slightly larger than a main at most restaurants. The sea bass was amazing! It had a nice slightly crunchy outside and an intense, rich flavor from the sage brown butter; I think it if I ate it by myself it would have for sure hurt my stomach because of how rich it was. The balsamic glaze and beans also complimented it well. This was definitely the best sea bass I've had. The service was good (4/5). Our waitress helped suggest how many dishes to order and what stood out on the menu. The ambiance is pretty good (4.5/5); the interior of the restaurant is super nice, and the sunlight shines right into the space in the early evening.

They have done a nice job with the decor. I'm not sure how well the outside seating works with traffic noise but they did as good as they could. The Korean Fried Chicken was quite tasty but the spice level was on the high side. Baked Potato was huge and a bargain AND really good. The Orange dessert was special. Certainly worth a try just for the look even if you're not a white chocolate fan. Service was as to be expected from an established top of the line restaurant.

I recommend this place for those looking to share a few small things and grab a drink, or to celebrate a friend or family member. The small plates are fun takes on fantastic foods, like the grilled cheese and tomato soup dumplings and the wagyu meatballs. The large plates are just as good. During dinner time, the place is packed and loud. Service is amazing, your waiter will be on top of everything you need! The orange dessert was the perfect sweet to end the meal, a light and creamy mousse with a hard shell.

Palm Palm absolutely delivers. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point, super hip, cool energy, and just the right balance of upscale without being stuffy. This place feels like it belongs in a much bigger food scene, and I mean that in the best way. Service was outstanding! Leah took incredible care of us. Attentive, knowledgeable, perfectly timed, and genuinely warm. That level of service elevates the entire experience. Food wise? No misses. My wife ordered the petite lobster tails, and they were cooked perfectly tender, flavorful, and plated beautifully. I went with the prime filet, which was spot-on: excellent cut, perfectly cooked, and exactly what you want when you order a filet. We also shared the wagyu meatballs, and honestly, those alone are worth coming back for! Rich, savory, and absolutely dialed in. Palm Palm checks all the boxes: food, service, atmosphere. This is the kind of restaurant you recommend without hesitation and keep in your regular rotation. We'll definitely be back.

I came here with a friend for brunch. I know they have several different and interesting menus for dinner as well. The atmosphere is pretty cool; definitely seems to be a bit more on the upscale vibe. In terms of food, I got to try their mango pancakes and a latte. Both were just average. The pancakes were actually quite disappointing. There's only a tiny bit of the syrup on top. The rest is dry and pretty flavorless. The mango did seem to be pretty fresh, though. It just didn't have much flavor, although the portion was pretty good (but also, price wise, it's a bit on the higher side). The latte was also just average; really cant remember much about it. All in all, the place seems to be a bit overpriced, and it's not one I'm likely to come back to for brunch, but maybe for dinner.

I've been hearing some "buzz" about Palm Palm for a while now and was super excited to try it during restaurant week! The menu is California themed and everything was very fresh and garnished exceptionally well. The decor inside matched the Cali vibes of the menu and was surely a "warm" spot on a very cold Pittsburgh Day. For starters, we had the tuna tots (still thinking about those) and the bruleed oranges with goat cheese - very unique and wonderful pairing and a combination I've never tried before! For entrees, we tried the short rib and the Palm Palm chicken, which was topped with roasted tomatoes, peppers and a nice signature sauce. The portions on the entrees were nice as well! To round out the meal, was creme brûlée and key lime pie. The only thing we didn't quite care for was the creme brulee, the consistency was a little bit off compared to others I've had. The server was great, took time to explain everything and we also got a visit from the manager to ensure everything was to our liking. We can't wait to return and try brunch or come back for dinner!

I always appreciate having easy free parking associated with a restaurant like Palm Palm does as street parking in this neighborhood and specifically the immediate area is limited thus typically unavailable. The restaurant's entrance is on the corner on Center Ave-street level (it's part of a large two-level commercial complex.) As I've been to other restaurants owned by this Restaurant Group, my expectations were low so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my visit with some friends for brunch on a sunny warm Sunday in March. Our table was ready when we arrived and service was timely the whole time, no rushing us nor long waits. Having been to Palm Springs, the ambiance decor and vibe is spot on. The brunch menu had several entrees that I was interested in trying and since I enjoyed the Ritual Breakfast Sandwich, I look forward to returning to try another option soon.

I was pleasantly surprised by palm palm! I definitely went in with some concerns that It was just aesthetic and trendy considering all of the social media rage around It. However, I was quickly proven wrong. While It is very aesthetic & cute inside, the food is top notch. I'd give the Korean chicken a 10/10 as well as the steak with this interesting chimichurri, a style I've never had before. The desserts were good, and definitely big enough to share. For me, the only miss was the grilled cheese dumplings - I've eaten something similar in Vegas and unfortunately these ones close to home came out very dense and lukewarm. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Whomever I owe a thank you to for opening this restaurant in PGH- THANK YOU. First and foremost - the speciality cocktails and food menu are to die for ! Such a unique twist on not only the food but the way they present each plate. My friends and I are foodies and we love a new restaurant, especially in our city . This exceeds expectations. The pictures do not do their dishes justice , everything was delicate and delicious . We had one entree we did not really care for . The manager noticed we weren't touching it so we respectfully let her know we didn't care for the taste. She was apologetic and recommended some other delicious items on the menu. A short while later she invited us to tour the kitchen. You don't get service like that anymore ! The place is beautiful, minimal decor but that works for them all around . Go, you will not regret it.

The Speckled Egg provided the upscale and elevated breakfast, that was a nice contrast to the rustic and local breakfast we had the next day. Our waitress was friendly and professional. After some deliberation, I went with a bowl that included eggs, chicken sausage, sweet potatoes and a nice garnish of dill. The dill surprisingly elevated the whole dish. My wife enjoyed an omelette. He was courteous, well spoken and friendly. We sat there for about 10-12 minutes. No one approached the table. We looked over to what appeared to be a bar area and we saw two servers standing there talking and showing each other their phones. My wife said, "With our luck, one of those two is our server." Sure enough, when they were finally done talking, one came over to our table....no smile and a big audible sigh. She asked what we wanted to drink, we gave our order and she returned with our beverages. After another 10 minute wait she came back to take our order. When asked about a certain dish, came another big sigh, eye roll and and a rote description of said dish. The food arrived and one of the orders was wrong. Another wait to get her attention. We asked for the item to be redone as we had ordered it. And she even asked how we wanted it! You got it...another eye roll and a big sigh. At least she was well oxygenated! The dish came back with the very same results. On that issue we gave up. Then came the wait for the check. Once again the two servers were chatting, no heads turned to check on their tables. My son went over to get the check. When the check arrived, it was attitude city. She accused us of picking on her because she was only a server. It's obviously how she saw herself. We then asked for the manager who was quick to side with the server. She said that nothing seemed to satisfy us and that we had a problem. IN SHARP CONTRAST. I have been to the Speckled Egg on the South Side many times. From the Host/Hostess to the servers to the bus staff, everyone had a smile, chatted with their customers, laughed and it was always a great experience. The manager came over since he recognized me from being there many times and we chatted for a minute. We are talking Night and Day. Completely two different experiences from server to management styles. To me there is only one Speckled Egg and one complete waste of time (Downtown).

The cool vibe restaurant is tucked away up a short flight of stairs on Filbert Street. It gives the place a cozy, hideaway feel with brick walls and murals. She appeared overwhelmed by her role and was not warm. We were actually told by the waiters that "she is serious about her list". Which would be great if she managed it effectively. When I brought concerns that we had been pushed down the list 3 times for other parties. She responded "well, how do you know that" to which I responded "we watched you take their names down after ours and sit them before us".
