I got a root canal and it hurt so bad that they had to stop and send me somewhere else which I did immediately the day after. I came back for cavity fillings which they were trying to charge me for WITH INSURANCE. Then they said "oh are you coming in for a root canal?" To where I said no I'm here for a filing I already got a root canal. Then the lady was like oh yeah. They left me with no tooth cap in my mouth for 2 months. I couldn't chew on my left side for two months. Then when I called to ask about my root canal the lady on the phone asked me if I had already gotten my root canal done. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I said yes I already took care of everything nearly two months ago. Then she tells me oh okay well send the request it should take a week. Dr. Sadek was amazing. My son 17months old. Went in for his first check up since he's got all his teeth -back molars. He walked in was handed a balloon and quarters for some cool toys. He had so much fun already. When they took him for X-rays he didn't fuss once! When we went back to the exam room he received a Lollipop and proceeded with the check up. Every thing he did he asked me for permission before proceeding. Something I learned a long time ago was never trust a doctor or denist with a poor bedside manner. If they are rude or don't show a patient respect, that is a huge indicator of the type of treatment you will receive. I had an appointment for my 3 year old, and they wanted to take him back for x rays by himself without me. I didn't feel comfortable because I had never been there before and didn't know these people from Jack. It would have made more sense to have the parent come with the child and then send the parent out while doing the x-rays. The x-ray tech was nice in explaining why they didn't have parents come ( because of the radiation). As I was seeking clarification, the dentist rudely told me they were busy and I needed to get out. So I said ok and took my son and left. Happy we didn't use their services. I called our regular denist and received a referral for two other pediatric dental offices that get much higher reviews. The front desk people were nice. As was the x-ray tech but the dentist I would never trust with my children. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. There are so many better practices in nicer areas. read more

First off the dr makes you feel like a bad parent because your child has cavities So we did our first filling appointment and before my son sat down I was being positive telling him the dr was going to make his teeth feel better. Then the dr looked at me told me to just stop talking because I'm going to freak my child out. Once He started to fill the cavities i was just sitting there watching since we're not allowed to talk. Then he looked at me in the middle of him working on my kids mouth and tells me I need to relax and that i was shooting daggers with my eyes. Something rude like that.. So I made another appointment to get his other side of his mouth worked on that got canceled, then We had to wait another few weeks for the next appointment when we get there we waited TWO hours before we were seen. Not even a phone call or a warning they were running late. At this point my kid is antsy once seen. Then again. In the middle in him working on my kids tooth out of no where the dr looks at me and told me I needed to "chill out because my energy is stressing him out" my jaw about hit the floor. He proceeded to only work on ONE TOOTH after we waiter TWO hours. This man is completely unprofessional I almost gave this place a third shot since they know what needs to be done with my son and they have unfinished worked on the other side of my kids mouth. until I called and the receptionist put me on hold and then said she needs to call me back because she's helping other people, it's a sign to never back. read more

They don't let you go in the back with your child when doing procedures... weird! Especially when they're sleep. I've seen posts on Facebook regarding the male dentist being too friendly with kids sitting them on his laps and rubbing them. I came here after my insurance changed The nurses are cool. They just crowded my son in the room which is intimidating. I understand wanting to establish a relationship with the patient, however my son doesn't articulate/express well. I'd come in and the dr would look at me as if he were frustrated. Even after we moved to the valley I continued to drive up because my son was somewhat comfortable. They'd schedule his appointment and a day or so before the appointment I'd receive a text with a completely different time and day!! Or they'd reschedule me saying they wouldn't have the time to do the appointment. WTF?!! I didn't schedule this and what type of system do you have?! Why is 1 cavity too much for an appointment?! Thento reschedule 4+ months out! No They promise to put you on a call list if someone cancels but they never do and apparently there are no cancellations -- EVER. I just received a letter stating due the severity of my sons case (which I was NEVER made aware of) he's referring him to a dental surgeon?! My son is 5yrs old, I was only made aware of cavities with the one on one I had with Dr. Sadek. Which was rushed and incomplete. This is BS Maybe you should restructure. There's no way a kids should have to sit and wait with Dental issues due to your lousy schedule. It must be nice to get the money and park your steals out front though. #Priorities read more

I had an appt scheduled for 11/18/21 @ 4:45pm. I drove almost 30 mins out to this appt. At arrival I was informed my appt was canceled due to me not verifying 24hrs prior. They stated they called and text. But I had no missed call nor text message. I was 15 mins early to my appt and my child canceled his football session for that day. Avoid at all costs! Plenty of dentists in town with better offices and scheduling system. This place just happens to have more of a kids environment but it's pointless since the dentists are never there or are canceling appointments left and right. I use to love this office, before they started constantly changing my kids appointments, and had us waiting for over 45mins to be seen. Seems like the dentist just doesn't care enough about his patients to be on time. He scheduled a 1pm meeting while knowing he had a 1pm patient, we waited for 45mins and kept being told "he's almost out of his meeting". Mind you my son hadn't eaten in 2hours because he required a filling, he's hungry and cranky and his dentist just didn't care. I asked for my kids medical records over a month ago, just got them today.. its a shame, my kids built a relationship with the office staff and put trust in them, now we have to start all over again else where. read more

Very pleased with the attention and handling of my son as a patient and myself as a parent! On both of our visits, I've received good customer service from the front desk. My 3 y/o son has received quality care from the back office/dental assistants, as well. I enjoy all the little ways they make this a great place for children! From the play area in the waiting room, to the animal faced instruments, to the personal dental chair movie options! It's great! The doctor/dentist is a sweet man! Before I begin with negatives, here are the positives: We were checked in quickly, girls at the front desk were great, the nurses there are very nice and understanding and they were able to make both of my girls feel great about having their teeth cleaned. I LOVED their enthusiasm. Even the doctor was okay with calming my daughter down when she 1st began to get a bit scared due to the procedure. That is the only nice thing I will say about him. Negatives: the 1st time I scheduled my girls an appointment about 6 months ago, my boyfriend shows up with the girls & the office explained they never got paperwork that I'd faxed over a month ago and then explained my 2 year old never had an appointment scheduled although I'd received texts and called to confirm both appointments the day prior. 2nd time I went to the appointment because this is a more extensive visit and I'd wanted to see what was going to happen. The doctor there is an ass. I completely understood the point of them building their own relationship with my child & doing what they need to do. However can someone explain to me how you make a child feel comforted then turn around and have 4 nurses come in and begin to hold her down while you get the work you need done? Where in ANY world does that build a healthy trusting relationship with a child? And I allowed him to do what he needed to do up until that point with no interruption. When I stopped the whole process due to my 4 year old daughter screaming crying "I don't want to!" And "no!" while being held down, he explained that "he hears these screams all day and knows these screams because he works with kids all day. She's just whining. " And apparently me telling my 4 year old "it's okay" messes up the relationship that he just gained with her. I apologized to the nurses profusely because the manner of which I held myself was NOT for them at all. It was for him. And when I spoke with him, he explained that he was listening when I spoke of a cultural preference for future references and when I ask him to repeat what was said, he couldn't. He just said "yeah your culture and traditions" and rolled his eyes. He couldn't even look at me while speaking with me until I'd asked him to. When I repeated myself, he looked at me like I was outrageous. Then continues to tell me "it's been a long day. " All in all, after having to explain myself very rudely for 15 minutes I scheduled another appointment because I was going to see if maybe I was overreacting or if dad would see what I was seeing. Too late, Dr. sent a letter saying due to events that occurred, he didn't think it would be a "good fit." I will happily take my services elsewhere. I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone. read more

Wonderful office. I have 5 children and this is the third children's dentist I've been to. So happy I found a good one in this area. When my 2 year olds name was called she became visibly nervous, and as soon as she saw the exam chair she started crying. The nurse walked us back to the waiting room, where the doctor came to talk to us. I was able to ask all the questions I needed, he sat with my daughter and another patient to read them a story, and talked to her enough for her to understand that he needed to work on her teeth. She didn't agree to x-rays and she wasn't forced, but she let the doctor do a visual examination and we made another appointment because she needs some work done. read more

My 8 yr old daughter is terrified of the dentist. We're new to Antelope Valley and she ended up needing 8 fillings. Yes 8. Her previous dentist isn't local and also doesn't offer Nitrous Oxide. I came across this office on Google and decided to give them a try based on the great reviews. Her initial consultation with Dr. Sadek was awesome. His approach with children is great. He relates and explains things to them on their level. She was actually looking forward to having work done. I was nervous but she was not. The doctor reviewed her x-rays again and they started her on the Nitrous. She stayed extremely calm the entire time. I was shocked! No needles or numbing were used AT ALL. She was awake and aware watching Boss Baby on Netflix. I was in the room and she periodically looked over at me and gave me a thumbs up. The Nitrous had no after effect on her either. She got up, walked, and spoke with no problem. All of the staff at the office are professional and courteous. The office is clean and kid friendly. Dr. Sadek will not work on your child without their permission which in the long run is beneficial because it gains their trust. I'll admit I was leery about providing my credit card information at the first visit. I was also concerned because they didn't weigh her before giving her the Nitrous and I assumed they should. However my mind is now at ease and we have found a new dentist!!! read more

I was completely blown away on how much attention to detail, compassion, and his child nurturing ability to make my little girl (3yrs) feel secure. From the moment we walked in, the helpful staff made sure my daughter was treated as if she was a princess. She was able to enjoy her movie of choice "frozen", which Dr Sadek sang-a-long, then He read her a book perfectly describing the importance of dental hygiene. My overall rating for my little girls first dental appointment would be 10 stars! My little girl walking away from her very first appt. with a bright clean smile, is priceless. I have nothing but great things to say about this dentist! I have a special needs son who is non verbal and Dr. Sadek and his team were amazing. So patient, kind and understanding of my son and his needs. Taking my son to the dentist can be overwhelming and sometimes challenging but after today I feel more comfortable taking him here. I was worried my son was going to need IV sedation again but they were able to do the work with nitrous oxide and they were so quick too. My son broke his tooth playing football. They worked him in the very next day, and did a beautiful job on his tooth. It looked like nothing ever happened! The staff was so understanding and nice, and they were great with him. I also like that they allow the parents to go in the exam rooms with the kids. Unfortunately, I was told my 5 year old son had 8 cavities (mind you, neither of my two other children have ever had 1 cavity and I am extremely good with keeping up on my children's hygiene). I took him for a 2nd opinion down in Valencia to my older children's prior pediatric dentist & he said my child had only the start of 1 cavity! I can't believe I almost let them drill on 8 perfectly good teeth on my 5 year old son ..... I could not be more disappointed in what some people will do to take advantage of unknowledgeable people looking for an honest service for their children! When I researched his credentials, I found no proof that he is even a pediatric dentist.... Make sure you send your child to an actual pediatric dentist!!!!! My daughter has been coming here since she was 1. She's now almost 7. The care is fantastic. They talk to my daughter like she's a person, explain procedures to her so she's not scared. Okay so last time I wrote a review it was nothing but positive for this dental place. I really fell in love with it. But a lot can Chang in 1 1/2yrs. This place has completely lost themselves and went left with what they were trying to do. Seriously, so recently about 1wk ago my girls both had appointments at different times. My youngest who is 2yrs at 10am. Arrived early about 10min till. Come 10:30 I ask when she will be called,the receptionist stated the Dr. Was not yet in that he comes from Pasadena and traffic and so on. I waited because I know how important the teeth are. Finally 11:30 comes around I see the Dr outside charging his car. REALLY!!! I ask the receptionist how much longer she said oh he just got in. UGH NO, he has been in charging his car and talking to another DR from next door. Come on you have patients waiting. So here is 12noon. YES, 2hrs later and he starts to see patients now what gets to me is my daughter was the 1st appointment of the day. I know they gather all the 2yrs old up earlier in the morning because he does visually lobby exams, but let's go by appointment. But because he was behind 2hrs and all the clips where out in the open he just grabbed starting from the last 2yr old and 3yrs. At this point I'm pissed,but still smiling and keeping it classy. What was suppose to be a 10min visit at the most took 2 1/2 hrs wow. Okay so here I go again back to the office same day with my oldest daughter who is 5yrs,her appointment was at 4pm.I arrived early again hoping things calmed down and she would be seen fast. Long story short it's almost 6pm and I need to go get my stepson from the after school program. Yes they seen my daughter at 5:30,cleaned her teeth but still was waiting on the dentist to look over her x-rays. I needed to go, I asked that the dentist look over her x-rays and get back to me if she did have a cavity that the dental assistant pointed out to me. He told me that would be fine and I even let the receptionist know. Okay so here comes the next week and still no call. Tuesday I called them, the receptionist knew who I was said she would have dentist look over it and call me back,no call back. Wesnday came I called early morning,she said he had not had a chance to look over it,that she would remind him and call me back, no call so I called before they close. She then said she will call me back in 30min,no call. So here is Thursday today,I'm pissed. Finally she confirms that Dr went over xrays and yes she does have a cavity. So I'm thinking within the next week for an appointment. No wrong!!! June,really for a cavity,I say wow. Point is this place had went from 5 stars to 1 and that's because of the wonderful dental assistants keep up the good work,its not there fault that the receptionist over books and the dentist can't get there on time. I believe its that time again to start looking for another children's dentist. My girls had only been patients for 1 1/2. I have taken my son to 4 different dentists trying to find the perfect one for him, my son is very scared and was traumatized by Dr. Dove's office so searching for one has been a pain. A friend of mine works at Palmdale Children's dental and told me about the amazing Dr that was there. My son requires sedation and they do it there, I brought my son in to meet the Dr and right off the bat I knew my son was going to get the proper care from them. Took my little one for her first checkup. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours only for the dentist to come out barely lift my daughters lip and tell me she has cavities. My gut dropped. Dentist said to "trust him" he sees this all the time then had the lady schedule another appointment for 6 months from the day we were seen. It did not make sense to me why we would have to wait 6 months if my child has cavities?!? We were not taken to a room, we were seen in the lobby full of other people and kids. So he didnt clean her teeth or examine them closly at all. Following my gut I took my baby for a SECOND OPINION. I was informed my daughter DID NOT have any cavities. And what this dentist was calling a cavity came right off. I was upset I feel he just wanted to gas and drill on my child so he could charge my insurance. I am not saying he is a bad guy, I do not know him personally. However i will not be taking my kid back for his services. read more

Amazing! My 2 year old just got her 1st filing with Dr. Sadek and it was the most masterful medical care I have ever seen. I highly recommend him to anyone. I was grumpy "waiting," but that is part of the process, getting the kids to play and have it be "their" place. Dr. Sadek took ample time to create a rapport with my daughter and explain everything to her (and me). She nodded agreement to every step of the process, from walking into the exam room to putting tools in her mouth. She was fine with the whole thing! Masterful! We tried Heidi's Children Dental, Adventure Dental and our old dentist in Pasadena for my son's fillings last year but this is WAY, WAY better! They have movies and toys like most children's dentists, but they also take special care with the kids and show a willingness to take as long as it takes to proceed on the kids comfort schedule to really give the kids a safe and respectful experience of care. Very impressed. He showed my daughter more respect and deference than most medical providers show me. She wants to be a doctor and I would be thrilled if she took on that type of bedside manner. read more

I scheduled appointments for my daughters because of the positive reviews on here. They gave us a next-day appointment. The office was pleasantly decorated and the staff is extremely nice. The girls enjoyed a selection of toys in the lobby, but we didn't have to wait long. The assistant started out by reading a book (written by Dr. Sadek). She then encouraged my younger daughter to watch her sister as they did the xrays. When it was time for the cleaning, they got to choose a movie to watch or xbox game to play. The girls also got to choose the flavor of toothpaste. Kids love choices! Overall, the entire experience was very positive. read more
