The Fries! Crazy but here's my take. Everyone is doing fancy pretentious, parm, truffle garlic blah blah blah.... These fries had a unique slender (thin but wide) cut, seasoned lightly. and cooked to perfection. you can tell they take it all very seriously here. from the Chefs all the way to the greeters. We ordered freshly made queso, but by the time it arrived at our table, a skin had already formed across the top, which wasn't very appetizing. The steak fajitas themselves were good. I wasn't a fan of the cheese or sour cream that came with them, though. The cheese had an unusual texture that I've never seen before, and the sour cream was very watery. Both the black beans and pinto beans were also swimming in liquid. The bright spot was definitely the service. Kendall was friendly, attentive, and took great care of us throughout our meal. Since the restaurant has just opened, hopefully some of these issues are simply opening-day kinks that will get worked out. There were things we enjoyed, especially the service, salsa, and steak fajitas, but the cleanliness/restroom issues and some of the food quality and presentation need improvement.
