Pizza party time! When I stay at the Palms this little shop is conveniently located on the casino floor, cheap, and open late. Can't go wrong for a quick bite. NY thin style which I love and I grab a few slices for us and I take them up to our room. I enjoy their classic cheese, pepperoni, and the Mr. White slice which comes with garlic, mozzarella, and ricotta. My man enjoys their meats slice with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and ham. First off, I was greeted very warmly by Aneli, who was working the front counter. She immediately asked me to let her know if I had any questions about the menu. She cheerfully took my order and even though I had a bit of a special order, she was very friendly throughout the transaction. I ordered half a veggie pizza and half a meat pizza with pepperoni added to the veggie side. When I picked up my order, she opened the box to show me the finished pizza. The chef, Joseph, who prepared my pizza also came from the back to find out if my order met my approval before I walked out. The pizza was prepared beautifully and the taste is amazing. My sister & I were there on May 8 & ordered a large pizza. I told them I would need it split & put in 2 smaller boxes as we were going in 2 different places. I was told they would give me 2 boxes. When the pizza was ready, they brought a huge box & 2 smaller boxes for me to do it myself. The pizza was very hot & I burned my hand trying to divide it into 2 boxes. The cheese was sliding off the pizza & stuck to the boxas the crust was so thin. Two women who worked there just stood there & watched me. They never offered to help or give me a spatula to help move the slices. Not sure I will go back there. We eat at Palms several times a month. The service was really bad. read more

We happened to stumble across this absolute gem of a pizza spot located in The Palms Casino. I got an order of the garlic knots, slices of the white and pepperoni with sausage pizza. The dough was chewy with just the right amount of bite and it brought me back to NY all over again. Taste and quality is comparable to Secret Pizza at Cosmo AND we didn't have to wait in a long line. I AM SOLD. Tip: if you're a diamond/turquoise card tier member at Yaamava you can get a discount and should be able to use your rewards points here as well. read more

Found this on the way to the SHAG store. I got the Veggie style that has cheese, red onion, bell pepper, mushrooms and olives. Thin crust, NY style, generous serving ( see photos) Delicious, just how pizza should taste. The Ladies behind the counter were courteous and helpful. Next time I'll order a whole pizza. Only negative is It's served on a plastic plate (under the paper) that you throw away ( it's not recycled). Serving it on a paper plate would be better for the environment. read more

Oh my god this place has some of the best pizza by the slice here in Vegas! It reminds me of NY style pizza which is amazing. The White Pizza tastes so bomb, I could easily eat an entire pie. It's thin, greasy but not too greasy and super cheesy. Served hot and pairs well with a beer or the perfect snack after bowling at the Red Rock Lanes. I've been meaning to try Side Piece since it opened but haven't been in the right place at the right time (read: haven't been coming out of "da clurb" at 2am wobbling around in my heels looking for sweet sweet carbs). Last night, after a champagne tasting event where food was scarce to nonexistent, I realized it was the perfect opportunity to grab some 'za and MAN ALIVE, I am happy I did. Here's the breakdown: 1. The crust (in my opinion, the MOST important part of the pie): PERFECTION. Crunchy, thin, but stood up to the sauce and toppings. 2. The sauce: not too sweet, not overly oregano-ed, not too heavy or light. 3. The cheese (has both white pizza and classic): just the right amount, not too heavy and reheated REALLY well in the oven at home the next day. 4. The toppings: had 4 different types of pizza (they'll slice the pieces in half for you, which is amazing) - the white was FAB, the veggie was a little too much green pepper flavor for my liking, but cool if that's your thing, the plain was...plain - but added some Parmesan and voila, delish. The one with sausage was outstanding. I used to love Secret Pizza at Cosmo but it's played out and Side Piece's crust beats theirs all day long. I don't mind a side piece (as long as no one knows). The pizza here is one word, excellent. Also. If you start with the back (crust side) you will thank me. I order Doordash every day. I am a frequent customer of Palm Pizza. Tonight I got dried, tasteless wings with NO sauce. When I called Palm Pizza, the lady blamed me for the error. I explained that I had previously made the same order 3 times prior and simply clicked on "Order it Again," and it always came with sauce. Since Palm Pizza is only 0.7 mi from my job, I asked if someone would be willing to bring me some sauce. Again, the lady blamed me for the error. The lady wouldn't give me her name and put me on hold for the manager. I really wasn't expecting it to go to voicemail (coward).... sigh. Did not expect to find such a quality slice in the Palms casino but I'm wrong a lot im finding in my late forties. As my husband always says, "I'm happy to be proven wrong". I never believe him when he says that but when it comes to food it' is kinda refreshing. I had the Blanca/white pizza with creamy ricotta, garlic and mozzarella, totally yummy. Hubby had the meat lovers that came with pepperoni, Italian sausage mozzarella, he enjoyed and pal had the cheese $5. Crust is airy and light with charred edges and bottom, piping hot outta the oven. Typical NYC style with shakers of granulated garlic, red pepper flakes and oregano on the tables. Only complaint is that they only have small stand up tables where the 3 of us could barely fit our pizza slices and beverages in the small table. Service is fast and friendly. read more
