I have been ordering from this restaurant since I moved to Dallas area in 2007. The General Tso chicken is the best I have ever had. It is consistently good quality over the years, amazing sauce with pieces of onion and garlic in it. I also love that they have the option of jasmine rice or brown rice, as a much healthier option. I have been to many Asian type restaurants, but keep coming back here when I don't want to take a chance at getting mediocre food somewhere else. I definitely recommend their general tso chicken! I can't be too much of a help on the rest of the menu, the general tso is so good I don't bother with anything else! I agree with another reviewer that this is a solid place! I have to say, I just received and had my order, and I even asked for extra sauce and they sure delivered. I hot take out. I had a 20% coupon and the woman at the register quickly and rudely pointed out to me, written in a font of 1 or less, it was for dine in only. The women at the front were very rude. There was one table of dine in customers on a Saturday night. Food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the attitude! Live and learn. read more

I had been eyeing Pan Acean's menu for some time now It is always a nice surprise when restaurants offer veg options. I figured since Sundays are usually lazy days, I would stop by since I was in the vicinity. As soon as I entered, I was greeted warmly by two employees. I let them know that this was my first visit and they were patient with me. They even let me sample the veg hot and sour soup, which I thought was awesome for them to do. I ordered the veg lettuce wraps, a bowl of hot and sour soup, and glass noodles with shrimp. I took a seat and only had to wait 10 minutes for my order to come out all bundled up in a sack. The aroma inside my car on the way home was incredible. My stomach growled and groaned. Must. Get. Home. Once I got home and tore into the sack, I started with the lettuce wraps. No, it was not as good as PF Chang's, sad to say. They didn't have much spice, so I added soy sauce and Sriracha. The soup I completely enjoyed. Large bowl for just $5.55. Seriously!! This veg soup was much better than Inchin's, and they charge $12 for a bowl. Just the right amount of spice, not too salty and just the right amount of kick. I am a huge fan! The glass noodle dish with shrimp was ok but nothing to write home about. Actually, it was bland, which surprised me. I ended up adding Sriracha sauce and ketchup (I put ketchup on all food) and that helps. Just too bland. I will definitely return for the hot and sour soup and to try some other items on the menu! If you are a fellow veg-head, give their veg hot and soup a try- you won't regret it! And neither will your wallet! read more

Probably the best restaurant in this area. The food was amazing, and it has big too. Every time we ordered any entree or appetizer here, you could always tell it was fresh. Our waiter was very friendly, and everyone in the facility was wearing a mask. The open kitchen and fish tank were also very nice touches to the restaurant. This place is heaven on earth. We moved away from Dallas 4 years ago, and my wife craved their Coconut Curry Soup for the entirety of her last pregnancy, and nothing in Atlanta came close to satisfying that craving. Had lunch here with the family. Very clean establishment with plenty of parking and no wait but the pros end there. The food was asian fusion but more reminiscent of Korean Chinese concept. The black bean noodles might have been the highlight of the lunch. The sauce was on point. The rest of the items we ordered left much to be desired. The tofu was crispy but the sauce lacked flavor. The food was just OK at best. Cold around the edges, steaming, hot in the center. But the worst part of the experience, was when the server told me to not leave a tip on my credit card, to leave cash. When I asked why, she told me the owner kept the tips. After googling, I found out that the owner can only take out the credit card fee leaving 97% of the tip to the server or to the pot if it is divided. When I told the server what I had found out, she apologized profusely. I told her that I didn't like her tactic, and that she would be receiving no tip at all. This place has my favorite fried rice in and around all of the DFW area. From large portions including their soup bowls which are gigantic and delicious. I highly recommend the pan fried dumplings. I almost always get the fried rice but I have tried nearly everything there and it was all good which is quite rare. read more

Let it be known! on October 1, 2013 I out ate five grown men for lunch at Pan Acean. I was the only one who finished the whole plate!!!! everybody had their own entree. We didn't go for family style. I had the clear thin noodles aka thread bean. Its stir-fry with veggies. You could either pick chicken, beef, or tofu. I chose tofu to be on the healthier side...I liked what I ordered. The Combination Fried Rice is really good, the Pad Thai is also one of my favorites. Take out food is always on time.

It's been a few years since I've been here and I decided to come back for a birthday gathering. They do take reservations and we were immdiately sat when we arrived. All the dishes I've tried have been wonderful. They are very large portions and can be served family style with friends and family. Vanilla walnut shrimp is by far the best at this restaurant. I ordered online this evening at 5:23 PM. I arrived at the restaurant at 5:40 PM. I still had to wait 20 minutes for my order. There was a gentleman waiting for his order as well. When it was completed the front desk staff thanked profusely for waiting. When my order was ready, I received no such thanks for my time . As long as I waited one would expect the food temperature to be hot (3 min ride home). One dish was, the Jalapeno Chicken. The other, General Tsao's Chicken was lukewarm. It was as if the one dish was prepared long before the other. The Jalapeno Chicken was prepared extra spicy as we requested and was quite good. However, it was difficult to taste the flavors of the General Tsao's Chicken because it was completely smothered in sauce. A lighter hand with the sauce would greatly improve the dish. read more

I love their pad Thai. It has plenty of vegetable and crushed tofu and peanut. l I love it!! My husband's mandarin chicken was good. But was slightly too sweet to us. Our server was very fast and very courteous. He looks like Korean. Anyway see you again soooooon!! We are back a week later!! I finally learned our waiter's name! His name is Aiden. He took care of us well again! The other gentleman Jovencio (sorry if I misspelled) is very nice as well! We started with fried calamari as our appetizer. Those were great. My husband had the honey seared chicken and I had the pad Thai again with beef. His dish was good and a lot of food, but a little too sweet at the bottom. Do not skip this restaurant, if you want truly good asian dishes. I looked for over 20 years in DFW for a certain Korean noodle dish, this the ONLY place in the Dallas area to get....their food is good enough that we won't hesitate to drive to Coppell from east of Plano to eat here, and our immediate area has a lot of " Asian' restaurants. I had the tom yum noodle soup. It was gigantic. Lol but I managed to eat most of it. It was good but not the best Thai food I've had. I think there wasn't enough mushroom and shrimp. For a bowl that big there should be more, it was just all noodles. Price was okay. Environment was nice. Service was pretty ok. Not fast but not too slow. Friendly. I stopped by here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. This was at 3:00 or so. Late lunch I guess. They had just cleaned the floors, so all the chairs were up on the tables - I thought maybe they were closed but they assured me they were open. So, I sat alone in this big room with chairs all around me and a strong smell of floor cleaner. The Hot & Sour soup was EXCELLENT. Clear, fresh - perfect. I got a coconut curry chicken dish which was all right: big dish - I tried to hard to do it but could only eat half! It wasn't great but all right. Service was friendly - nice enough place. Used to be great - now so so. We really liked ordering from here and also going for in restaurant experience before the pandemic hit. Most recently we ordered (Oct 2020) takeout and found that the standards had dropped. Here is what we ordered 1. Omurice - was good but lacked vegetables and the rice tasted funny as if it had gone bad 2. Sweet and Sour Veg - Not spicy for my kids who enjoyed it. Quantity was half what i had expected 3. Szechuan Tofu and Veg - Nice quantity but not spicy enough for me and my wife. overall the best dish - had plenty of veggies. Not much tofu 4. White rice - tasted funny - like the omurice. We were just disappointed that someone did not taste the rice and check on the quantity of the dishes. This was our go to place for Chinese food in Coppell. We will look for other options. read more

Best Fried rice I've had in a looong time. Everyone raves about Fortune House, but the flavor and freshness at Pan Acean is way better. They don't deliver to my house in Riverside Village but I don't mind making the drive because it's better than all the other places around here who do deliver to my neighborhood. Although the service was great and on point, the food was definitely lacking. My husband ordered a vegetarian Stir fry dish and he could barely finish it because there was no taste. It came with a very small bowl of rice which was not enough for the entree and was charged extra when he asked for more. I ordered the Korean seafood noodle soup and although it was packed with seafood, there was absolutely no taste whatsoever. I requested that they make it extra spicy and that also was disappointing.. My husband also ordered the hot and sour soup; he literally took one spoonful of it and could not complete.. He said it had a very strong eggy smell and taste which almost made it inedible..
