The bread is so fresh here. I love the bollitos soo much and I've tried a few others. But nothing compares to big B!

I was excited to find that there was a panadería in the area, actually the only panadería near SLO. I've been homesick and been looking for pan dulce and so happy I found Carmelita's. The owner and her son were very helpful and friendly. The ambiance was nice I didn't feel rushed at all I took my time looking at all of the options they had. We decided on two concha's one vanilla and one chocolate, a pan borracho, a chocolate chip cookie, and two bolillos with cream cheese and Jalapeños. The pan was fresh and tasted good! Cash or Zelle only. Definitely worth the drive from SLO. Will be back soon, gracias por todo! :)

My husband and I moved from LA and left our favorite Mexican bakeries behind. When we found this place, we were so excited because their tamales, bolios and champurrado are actually good! Get there before 12pm for the tamales and champurrado, but the earlier the better because the tamales do run out.

Excellent coffee! Delicious food and bakery! Above and beyond service! Our go to coffee shop now…read moreand my weekly fix. Atmosphere: From the outside, it looks like a tiny hole in the wall, but once you step foot onto the patio, you'd realize you've been transformed into this adorable, tranquility space. They have both open air patio and fully cover patio that's perfect even when the weather outside is a little chili. There are even toys and kids book for the little ones in their cover patio. 1 star Customer service: Jaimie, the owner, is one of the most personal and interesting person you'd ever meet. The very first week that I started coming here consistently, I was so surprised when I CALLED, not even ordering in person, to order my usual Dolomitti for the 3rd time in a row, she immediately recognized my voice on the phone and knew my usual preference of coffee ice cubes in my drinks. I soon became the "Dolomitti lady" lol. It still amazes me how she can remember that given all the customers she gets each day. 1 star Quality of coffee/drinks/food: One of the reasons I can't help but keep coming back to Perfetto is the wide range of food and pastry goods that they have to offer. I try not to drink coffee first thing in the morning, knowing it would turn into a very effective laxative. It's definitely a huge bonus that not only does Perfetto offer plenty of sandwiches/paninis/salad options, but they're one of the best I have had. My go to every time is the Tuscany panini. They use sourdough bread from Grover Beach Sourdough, which cannot get better than that. The bread is perfectly pressed and toasted with the perfect crunch and cheese pull. Besides, it's a given that I love the coffee here to keep coming back and ordering the same thing. 2 stars! I don't think I've ever gotten a hot drinks from here, so I can't personally tell if they do latte art or not. However, when the drinks and the food are too good, I could care less about the latte art and keep coming back here at least once or twice a week. 1 star If you're in the area or just passing by, I highly recommend checking out this place. Plus it's conveniently located just right off of 101. So no reason not to. I just wish they stay open later and all 7 days a week! This is the breakdown of my rating for coffee shops: Quality of coffee/drinks/food: up to 2 stars Consistently offer latte art: 1 Star Atmosphere: 1 Star Customer service: 1 Star

The server offered up some of their homemade green salsa from the back, which packed a major punch (and I say this as a spicy-seeker). Overall, the name of this dish was 100% spot on as it was messy as hell. It was a super generous serving and definitely covered two meals for me, which was impressive. It also came with a choice of more-different-carb, so I opted for a biscuit. It was surprisingly crispy on the outside and made for a nice contrast-y dessert bite when topped with their homemade jam. I recommend checking the spot out, and try to nab a seat outside.

The waitresses were nice and friendly. I got the monte cristo and it came with homemade jam which was delicious. The sandwich was great and had lots of cheese. My husband got the eggs benedict and the eggs were overcooked but wasn't a huge deal for him. It came on a biscuit bed instead of english muffin which he liked. The potatoes were also different and good. It came with a homemade spicy salsa and it was BOMB. Highly recommend getting the salsa. Overall, there's a lot of brunch spots in the area but I thought this was a nice spot. Personally wouldn't think it's worth a wait but it was nice popping in on a weekday for brunch. Seems like a bunch of locals come by. Would recommend this spot for some good brunch and a good lunch menu!
