You know, for a hotel restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. I came for a business dinner and the staff were very friendly. We made a reservation but probably didn't need one. I enjoyed the arancini starter as well as the burrata. I didn't particularly care for the roasted mushrooms. The fresh, warm bread they serve is very good too. For my entree I had a caesar salad and added salmon. It was fine but it's really difficult to mess up a salad. The salmon was a nice portion. Decent choice for a hotel restaurant. It's an Italian menu with a solid wine list and a nice bar selection. I stopped by Pancetta for dinner while I was staying at the Marriott. I sat at the bar but there was plenty of seating in the restaurant. The hostess and the bartender were friendly. I had the Margherita pizza and an old fashioned. The pizza was decent. Pretty typical for a Margherita. The old-fashioned was perfect. This is a solid choice if you're staying at the hotel and don't want to travel for food. read more

For a hotel restaurant, it's very good! There's an Italian inspired food menu and a wine and cocktail list. Surprised to see arancini on the appetizer menu. It's served with a Gorgonzola sauce, instead of the usual marinara sauce. They are a little small, golf ball sized, yet filling. The fried calamari, gulf shrimp, artichoke, and pepperoni accompanied with marinara sauce appetizer is more like a meal. The Bloody Mary was a sneaky potent potable. Waited 5-7 minutes for the hostess who was standing in front of us to seat us. Got our seat and looked at the menu. Nothing was jumping out at any of us and everything seemed ridiculously priced. We were pondering what to get, still waiting for the waitress to come over. The space is lovely with large windows illuminating it. I wanted something light so I got the soup. It was creamy and thick with lots of pieces of cut up mushrooms. I enjoyed it but I had to add salt and hot sauce to get it just right. My friend ordered the hamburger without the bun and sweet potato fries. She said it was good. Prices were decent too. I wouldn't hesitate to try other items. Staff was a friendly but our waitress seemed overwhelmed with how busy the place was. The food is Ok, not comparable to what I typically expected from restaurants within Marriott hotel. The dinner menu I was given is totally different than what I can find online either restaurant web site or yelp. I came here because I was on business trip and I did not rent a car and this was the only restaurant nearby Marriott and Hilton Hampton Inn/Homewood. I was able to kill time by playing on my phone like writing this yelp comments because the waiter or waitress all quickly passing by me without asking a word even when I was waiting for my next course meal. The restaurant was almost full so I guess this might be a good restaurant from local standard? The lower than expected service might be caused by the lack of shared work among the waiters/waitresses/bus person. Most diners here are for businesses or family get together. This restaurant is excellent. I travel to Northern NJ frequently and this is my go to place anywhere near Teaneck/ Hackensack area. The menu is a combination of modern Italian with a few traditional items. The service is always fantastic. Leotilde and Felicia took wonderful care of my group and it reminded me of why I like to entertain customers here. Great Food, an excellent bar, fantastic service and it reminds me of Cheers where "everyone knowns your name." More often than not, I stick to the pasta dishes which are fantastic. Perfect location if you are a traveler unfamiliar with the area and staying at either the Marriott or the Hilton property across the street. The menu has a good variation of offerings, a nice wine list and prices typical of the area. That is to say, it's not cheap but it's not overpriced either. I started the meal with the mushroom cream soup which I had read good reviews about. The flavor was spot on but I could get over the texture with some bits being firm and not pureed as much as the majority that I couldn't quite identify. Usually mushrooms are not that firm. Are there also artichokes or something else in the recipe that is? Hmm? Just made me wonder. When I sat down I was given the lunch menu by the hose at 4:40pm. I didn't notice that it was the lunch menu and made my decision from its offerings. However, the server told me that the cup of soup and half sandwich was no longer available at that time of day because it wasn't on the dinner menu. I asked if I could see a dinner menu in case there were other selections I could choose from. My request was met with surprise but she went to retrieve a dinner menu for me. When she returned for my order I commented that it was a good thing that I had asked to see the dinner menu as the sandwich I had wanted earlier wasn't on it.She replied that they would have made it for me anyway. ?? So, couldn't they have made me the cup of soup and half sandwich anyway? I changed my order to a bowl of soup which I only ate half of, and a Caprese salad to which I added the salmon. The salad was servicable. The salmon was mediocre. I order salmon frequently and this piece had no flavor other than fishiness. I only ate about half. After clearing the table I waited more than 20 minutes before I finally flagged down someone for my bill. It was not busy at all so there was no obvious reason why it took so long. read more

I hesitate to write this review because part of me wants to share this gem and part of me doesn't want to ruin this place-it's never crowded, the parking is great, the food is amazing and very reasonably priced. The wine selection is extensive. We decided to go here on Valentine's Day because we got married at the Marriott. We ate here twice, for the wedding tasting and then breakfast the next day, hadn't returned and had always been meaning to return. We were married in 2015 and still today, everyone raves about how good the food was at our wedding. I can tell you from experience that is not the case at a lot of catering halls. There were a couple TV's near the bar, and the wine list was extensive. At first, I couldn't decided what I wanted to try between the salmon, angus burger and create your own pizza. I eventually just followed my gut (literally I was hungry, haha) and went for the angus burger. The burger had everything you could want on it, all for $14. It also came with a good amount of parmesan fries on the side. The table shared a calmari appetizer which was nicely fried and fresh. We were also given bread and olive oil. The only reason I gave this place four stars is because a we saw the sea bass getting delivered to a couple different tables, and smelled it from a mile away! This is as good as it gets with hotel restaurante food. I really like this place. My only complaint is the menu never changes, but at least I know I can count on my favorite items. This is one of the best kept secrets in Teaneck! Who would've expected to find such an inexpensive restaurant inside the Marriott Hotel that's still classy, spacious and offers decent meal?? If you want to dine at a nice setting but don't wanna spend more than $20 for lunch including tax and tip, then this is the place!! Just to give you an idea, you can have pasta & salad combo for only $9!! Winning!! I opted for lobster pasta for extra $4 which was so worth it.... it came with a relatively generous amount of diced lobster meat served with rich vodka sauce which really filled me up. The servers are friendly and very accommodating too. And for lunch I never have any problem finding a table, there's no waiting time. I have only been here for lunch and it's great for an in-hotel restaurant. The service sometimes is a bit slow, which can be annoying when I'm starving. However, I love their express $8 lunch menu that comes with either a soup/sandwich or salad/pasta, etc. My favorite sandwich is their salmon one, even though it's a bit greasy. The cream of mushroom soup is really delicious. Their butternut squash ravioli is okay. Their burgers tend to be juicy and filling - one of my favorites on their menu. This is a staple in my weekly lunch choices since it's connected to my office building, which makes it pretty awesome not having to go outside to go eat. read more

For starters, I had the crab cake appetizer, crab cake on a bed of spinach with mushrooms and red peppers. Being from Maryland I was expecting something a little different but it was good. For the main course I had the sea bass on a bed of risotto with spinach and it was very good. The staff was very attentive without being pushy and the manager stopped by to check in on me. Pancetta is right next to the building that I work in and usually will come here for happy hour. A few weeks back I had a lunch meeting here and was really impressed with the service. Very attentive and friendly both waiter and manager kept checking in to make sure everything was up to part. I had ordered the arugula salad with salmon, although it was the smallest salmon I have ever seen, the salad its self was extremely delicious and the dressing was great. A favorite that I may just order all the time. For happy hour we have come by tons of time and the bartenders have always been great with our group.
